Rivalry Formed: Katherine 'Kay' Scarlett vs Hikari Morizumi

Hikari was ready for whatever her opponent could throw at her. She was hit before by real strong, powerful opponents and she still was able to toughen it out, so seeing how smaller Kay was compared to her would have been a piece of cake.

Taking a deep breath to settle herself as she is prepared to take the other woman best shot and show that she is nothing compared to her, that grin of hers doesn't leave her face as she sees Kay coming forward getting into a weird-looking stance.

'AHHH...' Hikari would cough out. Feeling the heavy blow to her core that almost lifted her off her feet, clutching her stomach with her hand coughing... but her toned firmed abs held strong as she would straighten up to her full height and chuckle as a show of not being fazed from the move.

'That was good but my turn again,' she would eagerly say and not waiting any time would throw a right haymaker right to Kay's stomach again. Putting a lot of power behind the strike, wanting to knock the other woman down with a showing of brute force behind it.

Drifter managed to bury her fist right into Hikari good. She didn't put everything into it, simply on the basis that it felt a little unfair as her greatest punches were capable of dropping heavyweights. That was not to say however that Drifter pulled back too much, still wanting to at least put the hurt on her opponent and show her just what she was capable of. Hikari shouted out and coughed after the impact slammed into her stomach, and she doubled over for a moment, coughing a little more as both arms folded over her stomach.

Drifter had a cheeky smile on her lips as she rubbed her knuckles, pleased that she had hit her mark and revealed to Hikari just what she was capable of... that was until Hikari seemed to recover a little too quickly for Kay's liking. Her smile dropped as the woman stood tall, not altogether looking all that phased. All at once, Drifter realised that perhaps she should have put a bit more into her strike... as it looked like Hikari for the most part had taken it.

Hikari wasted no time taking her own turn against Drifter, ramming a big haymaker into her bare and alluring stomach. Drifter's eyes went wide as she was lifted off her feet this time, folding over Hikari's arm before she pulled her fist back. Drifter staggered back, folding her arms over her stomach as she groaned out and coughed herself. She felt like she wanted to drop to her knees and roll up... but she knew a lot of people were watching. As such she tried to emulate Hikari... standing tall after a few seconds as she looked confident.

In truth she was in a lot of pain, and there was tell tale signs she was, as her bare stomach tensed up, her abs straining a little as a quiet little grunt escaped from Drifter's lips. She bit on her lower lip hard to try and keep in control, taking a deep breath despite how much her abs were throbbing with pain.
"Heh.. not too... shabby." Drifter whispered. Though in truth she was still a little stunned, and open to be attacked if Hikari chose to do so!

That feeling of sinking your fist into someone's stomach and feeling that tone form crumble... and that is what Hikari felt when her haymaker slammed into her opponent's stomach and Kay's stomach buckled and folded due to her strength.

It really felt good to her and seeing that her opponent was stunned and almost defenseless in front of her, she could just go all out and finish it right here and now or wait and see what the other woman would do next... . But seeing that her opponent is hurting from only two punches, a small part of her just wants to do more to see how much the drifter can really take since she heard that Kay can handle a lot of punishment and grind out a victory from the jaws of defeat.

'Sorry about this,' She would say before lunging forward and grabbing Kay by the arm, forcing the limb to hand over her shoulder so that she can have an opening going after the other woman's bruising and hurting stomach.

Taking a deep breath before slamming an uppercut right into Kay toned stomach, before following it up with a brutal-looking knee to the same spot, planning on breaking the drifter toned firm abs before finishing her off to win the match.

Hikari was no longer messing around, no longer eager to trade blows it would seem now that the match was well and truly underway. After Hikari's strike she began to push with an assault, grasping at Drifter's shoulder to pull her in for more body strikes. Morizumi had picked her target area, managing to ram another hard fist into the bare stomach and abs of Drifter, near lifting her off her feet with the power of her uppercut.

The Canadian born wrestler gasped out, trying to fold her arms around her alluring and well defined stomach to protect it, but not before Hikari managed to land a solid knee against her first, once more almost lifting her off her feet. The series of strikes forced Drifter to back away as she tried to regain her breath, the series of blows clearly knocking the wind out of her as a groan of pain slipped from her lips.

As Drifter backed away, a testament to her resilience and toughness was that she was still guarding herself. Despite the pain and complaints, it seemed she was heeding a lot of advice from Tia Breaker. She was still guarding, and hoping to catch Hikari out if she advanced upon her with a mighty uppercut of her own if she dared to approach during her retreat.

Hikari felt that she won the exchange of strikes. Seeing her opponent feet leaving the canvas with every strike she gave her, even the feeling of her fist sinking into the other woman once diamond hard core... before those toned abs gave way to her fist when she landed that uppercut that rocked Kay which allowed her to land that knee strike to her already weaken opponent.

Wanting to press her advantage since she has her opponent on her back foot already, Hikari would rush in thinking that if she can land a few more big blows, than the match would be over soon since they're no way that Kay can handle her power. Rushing forward with her arm raised ready to deliver another punch right to her opponent's face, but due to her wanting to press so much she left herself open to be countered punched.

And punched she did as she leaned forward right into an uppercut that made her spit out her mouth guard from the power behind the blow, standing straight up as her head is looking up at the lights above her...before falling to the canvas face first and laying prone on her stomach, dazed and out cold from the move.

There was a silence over the crowd when Hikari walked right into a thunderous uppercut. Despite her ailments and clearly being hurt from the exchange, Kay certainly had a reputation for bearing down and roughing it through the storm... and it looked like her dangerous striking game prevailed when it looked like the Canadian was in certain trouble. The blow looked devastating as Kay hit all of her mark, catching Hikari on the advance just right. Where Kay had often just thrown out punches, it seemed her training with Tia was working wonders for the already devastating strike, as her percision and timing was all there and to perfection.

Hikari's head snapped right back as spittle and sweat rocked from her head, along with the mouthguard as it was tossed from her mouth. There was a moment of pause as Hikari remained looking upwards, before finally collapsing down towards the mat below. Kay still looked hurt, her arms coming to wrap around her own stomach as she dropped to her knees. It was clear that both women were devastating strikers, as Kay's bare midriff was left straining and the Canadian still looked somewhat winded... however, the moment Hikari went down, Kay would scramble downwards, turning her onto her back before she would hook her leg with one of her arms... initiating a pinfall attempt!

The ref seeing that knock-out blow up close and personal would only gasp in awe at what she saw. Looking back, she would say that it was a punch that landed clean that and Hikari would have been rocked by the power behind that uppercut to the chin.

The ref would even claim that the uppercut knock out was on par with the legendary boxer anchor punch that knocked out a former champion with ease as soon as she saw Kay turn the clearly knocked out girl over onto her back for a pinfall victory. Waving her hands in the air and calls for the bell to be rung...she seen enough to know when someone is out cold and unable to do anything at the moment, as she gently moves Kay off of the still out cold Hikari and pulls out the smelling salts to awake the younger woman from being out.

Jerking awake after smelling the salts close to her nose, Hikari would look around with a dazed, lost look in her eyes before the ref would tell her to 'Relax and stay still while the medics come to check on you' She doesn't recall what happened but lunging forward to follow up with a strike and that it... everything goes blank after that as the medics are out and holding a light in front of her face to test and see if she has a concussion or anything at all.

Kay suddenly felt a sense of dread when the referee dragged her from Hikari without a moments hesitation. She did not even attempt to count having seen everything, and the look on the ref's face put some fear into Kay as she began to signal for an end to the match.
"H... hey... is everything okay?" Kay asked with clear concern, seeing now that Hikari was well out of it. She was not responding to initial checks as the ref began to bring her around, making Kay think that she had done something terrible. The ref did not even answer Kay, no doubt focused on Hikari as parademics began to rush down.

Kay was not in great shape herself... the earlier strikes against her had certainly left her hurt, but for now her own focus was upon her opponent. It was only after the referee used salts that there was a sense of relief! Kay sighed, her shoulders finally dropping as Hikari finally awoken. She looked a little bewildered and confused, as the ref began initial checks, but Hikari was awake, and that was the main thing right now.
"Damn it... I'm... I'm so sorry." Kay gasped out to Hikari. It might have sounded stupid given when two women went into the ring to wrestle, there was certainly intent there to win which meant inflicting damage upon the other... but Drifter never intended to cause such harm, becoming a little scared that she might have caused more harm than intended against Hikari. By now the parademics were slipping into the ring...

The crowd is silent seeing the medics make their way into the ring, after telling the young woman who is clearly dazed and not all there to lie back down and let them do their work to make sure she is fine.

As they place the young woman's hands on her chest, allowing them to slide her onto the board and placing the form in place to keep her neck and head straight, before they strap her in and gently lift her from the ring onto the gurney. The crowd starts to clap, seeing as Hikari is loaded up and taken up the ramp to the back, where a paramedic truck is waiting for her to take her to get her head looked at and see if she suffered a concussion or not.
