Amy Howard vs Haganehime

Unread post by BobbyBlue »

Match Type: Standard match
Winning Condition: Pin, Submission, KO, DQ, or Ring Out

This was it, this was Amy's first match in LAW.

She had always dreamed of becoming a wrestler, and she had worked hard to get to where she currently is. She was going to have a match in a real ring, and in front of real, paying customers. She spent 4 years prior to this match learning the ropes, and honing her fighting style to become a wrestler, and she was finally able to do it. She felt ready for this match. She was so excited for the match, but at the same time, very nervous. Whether she won or lost, she wanted to leave a good first impression. It was her first match after all, and she didn't want to be seen as a laughing stock.

She was sitting down in the locker room quietly, waiting until she'd be called up to make her entrance. She had heard that she'd be wrestling a girl named Haganehime, but she knew nothing about her. This was something that Amy was worried about. She knew nothing about her opponent, and her opponent could have years of experience in a wrestling ring, and run circles around her during the match. She was overthinking it, but she couldn't get herself to stop. She would constantly try to dismiss these thoughts, but it simply wouldn't work. She was extremely anxious about this match.

Soon, she was told that it was time for her to make her entrance. She was entering first, not that it mattered, and she made her way to the stage. As soon as she emerged from backstage, her theme song began to play. The fans seemed to have made no response to her appearance, but that was to be expected. They knew nothing about her, and so they had no reason to be excited about the fact that she'd be wrestling today. She made her way down to the ramp, as the ring announcer announced the match type, and introduced Amy: "The following match is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, weighing 104 pounds, Amy Howard!" The ring announcer finished at around the same time as Amy got to the end of the ramp. Amy then paused for a short moment, before having a short jog to slide under the bottom rope.

She got up, and let out a deep breath, as an attempt to calm her nerves. She was excited to be here. She was excited to finally be wrestling after her 4 years of training, but she didn't want to lose. She'd hate to think of what her career would turn out like if she were to lose her first match. She wanted to give it her all, to show the fans, and the locker room that she was a viable competitor. A lot of thoughts were racing through her mind as she got into the ring, and losing wasn't one of them. She was determined to win the match, and she was determined on giving her opponent a run for their money.

She then walked over to a corner, one that was far away from the ramp, and stared towards the entrance, eager to see the opponent that she'd be facing.

"Hime-sama, are you ready?"

Himeko looked over herself, double checking to make sure the tattoos on her back back were covered by the kimono and the undershirt, tightening her arm guards and leg guards, having an assistant put her hair in a topknot. With all this preparation it really felt like she was a samurai princess of old times... well, she always felt like that given her place in the world, but it really felt like it here. A lone warrior about step out onto a battlefield and prove her worth as a warrior, ready to cut down her opponent. Not much different than patrolling the streets to tag out thugs and small-time gangster, just a fancier outfit.

But...

"I still find these theatrics inane." She grumbled, combing as her assistant finished her topknot. "This is a fight, not a show."

"To be fair Hime-sama, your favorite MMA fighters showboat too." The assistant said.

"Tch, yeah. Then they get their asses kicked for getting cocky." Himeko narrowed her eyes, clearing her throat soon after. Right... language. "In any case, I'll be showing those at LAW who really brings order." Her assistant was likely to say another cheeky comment, but her the traditional instruments of her theme came on, cuing Himeko to leave. "I'll be going now," She stood up, making her way out the door.

"Good luck Hime-sama,"

Himeko casually walked out onto the stage, glancing around at the audience. It wasn't much of a crowd, but that was fine. She wasn't here to entertain, she was here to run someone into the ground. She made no show of her appears, walking down the ramp with a stoic face, ignoring the audience's cheers and catcalls.

"Weighing in at 117 pounds, the Steely Eyed Princess, Haganehime!"

She clicked her tongue, narrowing her eyes at the announcement. So obnoxious... and I'm not steely eyed. Regardless, she got into the ring, looking over at her opponent. She looked... excited to the say the least, like a fresh new wrestler. She probably was if the research Himeko did on her was correct. She clicked her tongue again, walking over to her corner of the ring. All she offered her opponent was a glare while waiting for the bell.

Amy watched as her opponent walked down the ramp. Her opponent looked rather interesting, well, to Amy at least. Her opponent was wearing a kimono, a piece of Japanese clothing, and it was something that really stood out to Amy. It was certainly something out of the ordinary, especially within a wrestling ring. She wasn't thinking about her opponent's clothing for too long. She soon retreated back to her thoughts of how she wanted the match to turn out. She was bouncing up and down in her corner, hoping from her left foot to her right foot trying to prepare herself for the match they were about to have. She was in the zone, as they say, and completely focused on the match that was about to start

Soon, her opponent made it into the ring, glaring directly at Amy. She didn't seem to be as thrilled to be wrestling in her first match as Amy was. In fact, she seemed rather cold. She didn't seem to be too interested in any sort of small talk, or even anything as little as a handshake within the middle of the ring. And so Amy herself also didn't offer anything. She continued bouncing, watching as her opponent walked over to their corner.

Amy soon stopped bouncing up and down. Both of the wrestlers were now in the ring, and the match was about to start. She was ready. She had trained 4 years for this moment; a time when she can finally live her dream of being a professional wrestler. She took a couple deep breaths, calming herself down, whilst waiting for the bell to sound. She was planning on going all out on her opponent after the bell sounded. She wasn't physically strong, and she wasn't that good offensively either. Gaining the upper-hand first was her best chance at winning the match.

And so she did. As soon as the bell sounded, she exploded out of the corner, running straight towards her opponent. As soon as she got close to her opponent, she jumped up into the air, attempting to plant both of the soles of her boots into her opponents chest, attempting a dropkick.

Her opponent was a lively one at least, gunning straight for her the moment the bell rang. She could respect her initiative, if anything. Still, I ain't gonna' lose to you. She took her stance, arms out, body crouched, ready to grapple as she moved toward the center of the ring at a slower pace than her opponent. She expected a tackle, a running elbow, something like that. Instead, she got a heavy dropkick right to the chest. "Guh!" Well, the girl made a good first impression, the kick made Himeko stagger a step, but...

"Got you~" She took the kick and a bit of damage, but she wrapped her arms around Amy's feet soon after they connected. "Nice kick, but not enough." She started to twist her body, taking Amy with her. "Haaah!" She swung her body as hard as she could, attempting to throw Amy right into the turnbuckle. If her opponent wanted to make an big impression with that kick, then Himeko would respond in kind.

Amy watched as her opponent took a stance as she approached her opponent. She wasn't going to halt, she continued running towards her opponent. She was planning on getting the upper hand early on in the match. Soon, she jumped up, attempting to dropkick her opponent, and... it connected! She was feeling joyful, and proud of herself as she heard her opponent grunt out in pain. Little did she know, that it would all change instantly.

Amy's legs got caught, and she was regretting her attack instantly. Haganehime latched onto Amy's legs right after the dropkick connected. Her dropkick wasn't effective enough; almost as if her opponent was unfazed by it. "L-Let me go!" She shouted, as she tried to release herself from Haganehime's hold. She tried squirming, and she tried kicking, but neither of them worked. She was at the mercy of Haganehime now.

Soon, she was swung straight into the turnbuckle. Amy crashed into the turnbuckle, screaming out in pain, then bouncing off of it, and falling straight back down onto the mat. Amy wouldn't stay down for long, as she attempted to pick herself back up. Shortly after crashing into the turnbuckle, she attempted to crawl to the bottom ropes, attempting to pick herself back up off of the canvas.

It looked like the girl still had a bit of fight in her after that slam. Not that she got up immediately, but it was a surprise to see her crawling to get back to her feet right after taking the heavy hit. Tough chick... Himeko rolled her shoulders began walking over to the girl. Let's see just how tough you are.

She reached out to grab Amy's legs again, hoping to pull her away from the ropes and stomp at her legs.

Amy started crawling towards the ropes. This wasn't how she wanted the match to start, and she needed to find a way to mount some offense fast. As she was crawling to the ropes, she felt her legs get grabbed again. This was bad. She got pulled away from the ropes, watching as her hope to grasp the ropes faded, leaving nothing but her and Haganehime as the ropes now seemed to be too far away for her to crawl towards. She needed to get up off of the mat before her opponent could do anything.

Amy watched as her opponent grabbed both of her legs, pulling her towards the centre of the ring. This was really bad. She needed to somehow get away from Haganehime, but she didn't know what to do. She was terrible at defending her self. She constantly kicked her legs trying to get out of Haganehime's grip, but it was no use. She didn't know what to do to get out of this; all she could do was let herself get dragged.

Soon, Haganehime started stomping on Amy's legs. "Ahh!" She screamed as she was being stomped. Her legs were the main part of her offense, and she didn't want her opponent stomping away at them. And so she came up with something that was purely out of desperation. She tried sitting up, so she could pull one of her fists back, and launch it at Haganehime's stomach, attempting to wound her so she could get up off of the floor. If this is to go as planned, Amy would get back up off of the mat, and retreat back to the ropes to recover.

Amy's screams brought a smile to Himeko's face. Feeling her failed struggling, seeing her pained face, having her down on the ground like she should be. It only float natural to enjoy the moment a little. Not so cheeky now, are we? She gave a short laugh, readying for another stomp to really make Amy feel helpless.

"Guh!"

At least she was until the sudden sucker punch came. Amy wasn't completely helpless after all. Himeko staggered back, letting Amy go and doubling over as she clutched her stomach. "Dammit!" She glared at her opponent, scowling as she was making her way to the ropes again. "How... dare you..." She growled out.

Amy was finally free. Her punch to her opponent's stomach worked, and now all she had to do was get away from her opponent. She turned around so that she was on her stomach, and then crawled as quickly as she could towards the ropes. She picked herself up off of the mat, and got up onto her feet, leaning with her back against the ropes, as she recovered her breath. She heard her opponent growl at her, but she paid no attention to it. She was just focused on thinking of a way to mount some offense.

She soon thought of something. She was going to attack with her body instead of just her feet. She was in the same weight class as her opponent, and so she didn't suspect that her opponent would be that strong. She felt as if launching her body at her opponent would give her the advantage over her opponent, and potentially even catch her off guard.

And so, she began sprinting towards her opponent. She felt pain shooting through her legs with every step that she took, but she ran through the pain, trying her best to ignore it. When she got close to her opponent, she jumped up into the sky, turning her body sideways, as her momentum sent her towards her opponent, as she attempted to hit her opponent with a crossbody.

Her opponent came at her. From what Himeko could make out her legs were still in pain, but she threw herself at Himeko regardless, bring her whole weight on her. Himeko had no defense for it, she was still hunched over in pain from the punch. The impact sent her to the ground with Amy slamming on top of her. She gasped out, her eyes widened as she cried in pain.

"Aaah!" Bit down on her screaming, gritting her teeth and scowling, sucking down breath to recover. "Get... off!" She squirmed about, desperate to get the weight of her opponent off her to recover.
