In-universe Organizations

Unread post by Deskfan45 »

It's pretty safe to assume LAW isn't the only organization around. There are quite a few characters implied to have associated with wrestling promotions besides LAW. I made this thread so people can go into detail about fictional organizations they'd like to add to LAW lore. Add any organizations you'd like, related to wrestling or not. Hell, add your character's favorite donut shop if you want.

Sexual Fighting Academy: The Sexual Fighting Academy, or SFA, is a university located in New York City. Founded in 2009 by Dana Welsh. The college is unique in that it's the first educational institution to feature a sex wrestling program. This program trains students in both sexual and normal wrestling techniques, and doubles as a developmental territory for SWF. One notable alumni is Skylar Jones, whom, in spite of not finishing High School, was offered admission at the age of 18 thanks to her prodigious wrestling talent, and went through a one year course. Another notable alumni, Ayana Suzuki, went through a full four year course.

Sex Wrestling Federation: The Sex Wrestling Federation, of SWF, is a wrestling promotion with it's HQ in New York City. It started out in 1994 as a small porn studio, run from the home of it's founder, Aaron Welsh. Slowly, it grew into full fledged wrestling promotion, having a show in it's first major venue in 2001. Many western hentai wrestlers got there start here, including Dana Mills (Now Dana Welsh) and Joanne Scarlet. Nowadays it is million dollar company, and is often given credit for the popularization of hentai wrestling in the west.

M.A.SsiveRacks: The premium Sportswear and Lingerie company of which LAW has recently signed a partnership with. They specialise in training gear and lingerie for women with a somewhat above-average chest size, and have been known to rarely rip, even under the most intense circumstances. As with all things of a 'premium' quality, expect a premium price.

Best Coast Ladies' Wrestling (BCLW): One of the largest independent wrestling promotions in the United States. Based in San Francisco, BCLW attracts wrestlers and fans from all across the Western and Southwestern US. Historically, they were a relatively early adopter of hentai wrestling, but they are known for creative, high-intensity matches.

Eleanor Gray wrestled in this league for just under a decade under the ring name Gunner Ellie.

Severa Pavlovna wrestled in this league for much of her career.

Tiger Jane was the top champion of BCLW in 1982.

House of Lai Chinese and Taiwanese Cuisine: A Chinese restaurant in Shibuya, Tokyo, established in the 1960s by a family of Hakka immigrants from Taipei and owned by the family ever since. The current owner of the restaurant is Khienming Lai. His three daughters, Meiling, Meiyun (who is in training with LAW), and Meihui, also work there in various positions. Every reviewer remarks that their food is consistently unremarkable, but can't quite place why.

Orchard: A street stall run by Nanami Azabuko (ring name: Tomoe Togarashi). A flavorful, in-your-face testament to the versatility of street food. Has street food dishes from all over Asia. No specific location, but stated to be somewhere in Tokyo. Probably mobile, so that Tomoe can set up at different festivals across the city.

Has an ongoing challenge where any guest who finishes just one skewer doused in Nanami's spiciest sauce gets free meals for a year. Nobody has succeeded, and 7% of participants ended up in the hospital.

The Wolf and the Bunny Pub
Owner: George Fortunato

Waitresses:

Emily Moore

Mizuki Sakura

Located in the neighbourhood of the LAW Arena, the Wolf and the Bunny became a secret tipp between british wrestlers to enjoy a little piece of home.
Soon the Pub got a reputation as a place where you can enjoy a drink, make (totally legal)bets on LAW Matches and other sports, listen to live music, play billiards and darts and watch some scantly clad ladies in all kinds of substance matches, the Pub has something for everyone and it is hiring!

The House Show: A reality television show based and filmed in Florida. Modeled after the in-house developmental programs of major wrestling promotions, The House Show casts a ragtag group from a variety of backgrounds, housing them under the same roof as they train to become professional wrestlers. THS brought on a number of current and retired wrestling luminaries to serve as trainers, judges, and other special guests, granting them some legitimacy in the industry, and the natural drama attracted even non-fans. As such, while THS currently has no affiliations with any actual promotions, the alumni of their first season were all signed fairly quickly.

The first season of this show aired in 2021, casting, among others, Tanner "The Wild Child" Del Rio, who was a semi-viral media sensation at the time thanks to a few videos of her carnival performances. However, about a month into her season, Tanner was unceremoniously booted from the show without so much as a vote-off. Her rebellious ways earned her many enemies on- and off-camera, leading the producers to believe that she created far too much controversy, even for a reality show.

(TL;DR - Think of it as a fusion of The Ultimate Fighter and Big Brother, combined with the unique flair of pro wrestling in the LAW universe. And feel free to make characters with this as a background, just let me know!)

I've been meaning to round up other posts regarding wrestling promotions/organizations outside of LAW but within the same universe, and copy them to this thread. I'll start with @PrinceArjuna332's Shadow Fortress and I'll add more if I come across any

Hello there!

This is something that I've been thinking for a while, and I've decided to establish some kind of training program that is similar to the Hart Dungeon run by Stu Hart. At first, I was a little hesitant, because there is already a rookie program in LAW named Young Lioness Program, but after careful deliberation, I've decided to go with it.

The training program in question is called the Shadow Fortress, which is run by the matriarch of the Ashford family, Dana Ashford. For those who don't know, Dana Ashford is one of my characters who's been wrestling for quite a while, and this year, she will be 51 years old, and still active in the ring. It has already been established that Dana has her own wrestling school.

The way she trains her proteges will be quite spartan in her methods, though those who manage to graduate from the school will gain prestige from it as the alumni of the Shadow Fortress. Those who are interested in having their wrestlers graduated from the Shadow Fortress (retroactively claiming them as such), you can ask me, and I can put your wrestlers' names in the list of alumni and graduates.

The following are the prerequisites for your wrestlers to be trained in the Shadow Fortress (already graduated or still training):

1. Must be 25 years old or younger.
2. Must have debuted after 2018 (2019 and above)
3. Can be babyface, heel or tweener.

The Shadow Fortress itself isn't really a stable, though it can be considered to be a badge of honor as a mark of prestige for those who graduated from it, just like the Hart Dungeon in real life. The training is harsh, and those who train in the Fortress may emerge from it as changed women or men. As of right now, there are two branches of Shadow Fortress:

1. Shadow Fortress JAPAN (main trainer: Dana Ashford)
2. Shadow Fortress USA (main trainer: Douglas Ashford)

You can choose whether to have your wrestlers graduate from Shadow Fortress JAPAN or Shadow Fortress USA, though only those who are still training in JAPAN can work matches in LAW.

Current Shadow Fortress Trainees (still in training):
  1. coming soon
Shadow Fortress Graduates:
  1. Toni Ashford (Shadow Fortress USA)
  2. Mara Ashford (Shadow Fortress USA)
  3. Ryan Ashford (Shadow Fortress USA)
  4. Harmonia Edelstein (Shadow Fortress JAPAN)
  5. Finlay Zeffer (Shadow Fortress JAPAN)
  6. SENA (Shadow Fortress JAPAN)
  7. Aimi Smith (Shadow Fortress JAPAN)
If you are interested to have Shadow Fortress as your wrestlers' accolades, whether as current trainees or graduates, feel free to reach out to me via discord and tell me whether your wrestlers are currently trainees or graduates and from which branches they graduate from. You can also ask me anything else about this Shadow Fortress.

Leviathan

Leviathan is an international fighting corporation that develops any type of fighter (MMA, Wrestling, Boxing, etc) into stars! It was founded in 2002 and elected Ms. Scylla as the CEO of the company. In these two decades in existence, the company has already boasted to have 5 international sites in various countries. Leviathan's main HQ, is located here in the US! Leviathan's goal is to expand globally and showcase why they are the superior fighting brand in the world. Not by signing all of the biggest names in the wrestling community, but by also developing the lesser-known fighters! In the CEO's own words, Leviathan was not formed to not only train and develop the next generation of stars but give a shot to those who haven’t been given that opportunity to shine before! Join...or be devoured!

Do not be surprised if Leviathan has already expanded its international relations with other fighting promotions that you may know! With that said, Leviathan has reached out to companies that of like LAW. In which both Leviathan and LAW have reached an agreement that some of Leviathan’s members would be allowed to crossover and compete in LAW’s wrestling division. This was done to both promote Leviathan and develop their young stars into becoming more capable wrestlers! Tho, people wonder, how much did Leviathan agree to with LAW to make this deal happen…
