When LAW proposed that Cori represent them on a meet-and-greet promotional tour in Europe, she was reluctant to agree. What they offered was a great honor, yes, but it also meant weeks away from action in the actual wrestling ring, the whole reason she loved this sport. She took a great deal of convincing, but eventually agreed..if only because she learned that another wrestler would join her on this tour. They would share a hotel room and everything, and the seed started growing in Cori's mind that if she did not get to wrestle in the ring, maybe her temporary roommate would oblige her, yes?
Sophia Wolfe had not obliged her, no no.
Her traveling partner was gorgeous, skilled based on the online videos, and had an interesting air of intensity about her. Cori liked Sophia. They could not have been more different in personality, and Cori had scarcely pulled anything but basic conversation out of the woman, but they had gotten on well. Cori could see, too, how Sophia handled fans and knew a warm heart was hidden in that fit body.
But Sophia was so standoffish, and Cori could not do a thing to convince the woman to spar with her. Cori was getting the itch, badly. She enjoyed running around the cities they visited to see and paint the beautiful scenes, but she needed to wrestle someone. Tonight, she resolved, she would make it happen.
She entered their room by way of the hotel pool, giving up on her sunbathing since the sun was setting. After a stealthy peer around the whole living area, Cori finally softly called "Sophia?", but received no answer. She could not keep up with Sophia's movements half the time. She could be anywhere, standing outside taking a call, taking a shower, out of the hotel entirely. Whatever the answer, Cori grinned when she realized Sophia wasn't in the room, and her bare feet carried her stealthily to where both their beds were lined up a few feet away from each other.
As quietly as possible, she pulled the nightstands away into the sitting space, then shoved her bed a few feet to the left. She rushed to the other side of the room and pushed Sophia's bed a few feet to the right, to the point that they presed side-by-side, mattress to mattress. Then she yanked back the covers, leaving only the sheets and pillows in place.
She clapped her hands together with satisfaction. Oh, tonight would be sparring night, Cori would make sure of that. Even if they only tussled a little, she would be happy.
With a mischievous bounce to her step, she whirled and rushed into the tiny kitchen area, where she hopped up onto the counter, turned off a couple of lights so she was concealed, and waited for her roommate.
