Song and Dance - Satsuki Hayano v. Uta Toyama

As she rolled up her opponent's leg, the tightness in Satsuki's neck and shoulders subsided, and her efforts were further rewarded by a rather choice hold! She tightened the hold, feeling her opponent urging her off.

It may have been unintentional, but dropping to her knees was the best thing Uta could have done for herself. Satsuki had intended to roll back down, flinging her opponent down with a modified handstand headscissor. But now, her own head was on the canvas, and Uta had a more solid base of support. In fact, Satsuki's position was now made even more precarious -- she was all but draped over her opponent's body, without a chance of transitioning into a different move.

A more tactical wrestler may have released the hold. But the sheer risk of this situation spoke to Satsuki on a primal level. It was quite literally do or die -- finish Uta with this hold or give her opponent free reign to follow up with whatever she wished! So instead of releasing the grip, she continued to squeeze, tightening her hold on Uta and waiting with bated breath to see what she might do next!

Those legs around her head tightened, making it even more difficult for Uta to focus on getting her opponent off of her. Due to her having a more solid base, she had more chance to remove Satsuki off of her, but the tightening legs made it hard for Uta to do so.

Still, she knew that she couldn't simply let her opponent do whatever she wanted. So, as she remained trapped in the headscissor, Uta would try to drop herself down onto the mat, bringing Satsuki with her. She was certain that the drop might cause her opponent to loosen the hold, and she would try to wrench her head free from the headscissor soon after that.

To Satsuki, a wager was a wager, no matter where or when it came. By keeping her legs wrapped around Uta's head, she'd shoved her chips into the pot. Now was the time to play her hand and see where it led her! So she squeezed and squeezed, fighting against her poor leverage to wring the ravenette's neck as hard as she could!

Seconds seemed to stretch into eternity as Satsuki found her clock ticking. The moment in which Uta leaned herself forward yawned in Satsuki's brain. And in that moment, her thighs became a vice grip, desperate to hold on and force a submission! But the time for this effort proved to be just that: Fleeting. As not but a half-second later, Uta dropped herself down to the mat, spiking Satsuki's head right into the ring floor!

Though the impact was not the most powerful that LAW had ever seen, it still shook the ring -- and, more pressingly, prompted Satsuki to release her hold! "Guhhh..." Now, Satsuki lay supine once more after a second blow to the head in about as many minutes! This time, she didn't even have the wherewithal to summon a reflexive guard. Instead, this time, she simply lay dazed, the cobwebs too much for her fight-addled brain.

Dropping her opponent seemed to have done the trick because after dropping Satsuki down, Uta was released from her headscissor. Uta fell to her side, gasping and panting as she tried to recover from having her head squeezed by her opponent. But it looked like the drop seemed to have inflicted some damage on her opponent, and Uta would try to take advantage of this.

Picking herself up onto her knees, Uta would then move closer towards the downed Satsuki before she reached down to her head. She would then proceed to rise back up onto her feet, pulling her opponent with her. From there, she would try to aggravate the damage done to her head by hitting her head with a forearm smash, hoping to send her reeling.

The canvas shuddered at the force rammed into it via Satsuki's head. For her own part, the pinkette's brain wasn't doing much better. She continued to groan on the ground, breathing heavily and blinking furiously in an attempt to beat back the woozy blear that threatened to drown her entire field of vision.

That rest would not come so easily, however, as Uta crawled over and dragged both herself and Satsuki to their feet! Satsuki hung limply in her opponent's grasp, only able to stand and glare. That contemptuous look was quickly swiped off her face by a strong smash of Uta's forearm! "Kkhh!" Her cry of pain was half-grunt, half-seethe as she fell as far back towards the canvas as her opponent would let her!

Smashing her forearm at Satsuki's head, Uta looked at her opponent who fell down, and Uta knew that she needed to deliver more damage on her. She would close in, grabbing her head once more to force her to get up. This time, she was going to wrap her arms around her waist from the front, hugging her. Then, she would hoist her up and throw her over with a belly-to-belly suplex.

Uta knew that if the move was successful, Satsuki would take more damage. She would quickly roll over onto her knees to see the damage that she might have dealt on her opponent after executing the belly-to-belly suplex.

Lift, drop. Lift, drop. Lift, drop. Every single time that Satsuki felt herself carried off the canvas, it wasn't long until Uta moved to level her once more. It was a pattern, a tendency, a read. She could work with that. More than that, over time, she'd managed to recover from some of Uta's earlier, more powerful blows. So she hatched a plan.

Sure enough, Uta grabbed Satsuki's head once more, this time dragging her all the way to her feet. Then, she performed a front waistlock before flipping her overhead for a belly-to-belly suplex! The downside of such a suplex was that you couldn't see in real-time how the move had affected your opponent. Satsuki knew this, and it would be the backbone of her plan.

The slam hurt, of course, but Satsuki was still able to keep her bearings this time. As soon as Satsuki was released, she flopped onto her back with a low, burbling groan, feigning that she'd been hurt far more than she actually was. Thus, the trap was set. All that was left was to see what Uta would do next.

Sending Satsuki down with the belly-to-belly suplex, Uta would immediately push herself back, planning to continue her momentum. Standing up, she would make her way towards Satsuki and bend down to grab her by her head. This time, she was planning to hoist her up onto her shoulders, planning to put her into a fireman's carry.

She was planning to parade Satsuki around while having her on her shoulders, showcasing her strength. She would make sure to make her experience in the fireman's carry as unpleasant as possible before she could move on to her next move.

Satsuki was still on the canvas when Uta sauntered over to her. "Tch...!" She let herself get dragged to her feet, though the annoyed sneer on her face was authentic. Given the strength that Uta had displayed throughout their match, she didn't think that resisting would've helped her anyway. Before long, she was hoisted upon Uta's back and shoulders for a fireman's carry!

She lay limp across Uta's shoulders, gasping and groaning in an attempt to make Uta think herself safe. The crowd's taunts were a small price to pay for this set-up. When her opponent made her move, Satsuki would strike! Her elbow lashed out, aiming for Uta's throat. Regardless of whether or not that hit, she would perform a bit of mid-air acrobatics, spinning in mid-air to clamp her legs around Uta's head. Then, she would swing down, hoping to swing Uta down to the canvas with a reverse hurricanrana!

Displaying her strength as she held Satsuki in the fireman's carry, Uta didn't think much of what her opponent would do until she took an elbow to her throat. "URKH!!" She lost her grip on Satsuki, and her opponent too this opportunity to spin in mid-air before she clamped her legs around her head. Then, she took her down with a reverse hurricanrana!

"AUGHHH!!"

Uta was brought down by the move. Not only that her throat hurt, with her head hitting the mat thanks to the hurricanrana left her dizzied. For the time being, she remained on the mat, clutching her head as she tried to recover. But this would leave her exposed to what Satsuki would do after this.
