"You just asked," a beautiful and smooth, but very even voice sounded, "but you can ask another one."
"If you don't feel anything," the manager began, "then how could you come up with such an unusual costume?"
Lily finished warming up her leg muscles and got to her feet, after which she turned to the other Englishwoman. The look of her amber eyes was directed into Victoria's eyes. There was absolutely no emotion on the brunette's face. And the manager got the impression that Lily could see right through her. Lily's eyes were empty. However, after a moment, the Black Crow looked away and went to the mirror, she looked at her reflection.
"You don't seem to quite understand the point," she said in the same smooth voice, "I really don't feel anything, but I'm not without imagination, this costume is the result of a long work, I put part of my past into it, because I've always been a crow in the opinion of those around me, besides, it emphasizes my appearance."
Victoria thought about the words of her ward. Perhaps Lily was the most unusual of all the women from her team. Of course, each of them had a unique appearance and unique character traits. But this long-haired brunette was truly someone unique. Victoria was smart enough, but she never thought that she would personally meet a person who had no emotions.
"But why did you come to pro wrestling?" asked Victoria. "You have an amazing level of intelligence, why would you fight if you don't feel anything?"
"That's not exactly true," Lily replied, putting on a long black cloak with crow feathers, "a fight is probably one of the few things that can make me feel at least something. And maybe thanks to the ring, I will someday stop being a soulless doll. I have to go."
Leaving her manager alone, the brunette left the locker room and headed down a long corridor. Many in her place felt the excitement before the debut match. But Lily was absolutely calm. She was very unfamiliar with such concepts. The last time she experienced excitement was in the company of the girl named Karen. The light in the hall went out completely and her music began. The Englishwoman came out from behind the curtains and stood absolutely motionless for several seconds. Thanks to her completely black cloak, she was almost invisible. With the first words of the song, the Black Crow began to descend the ramp. Now her silhouette could be distinguished. Cameras began to click from different sides and short flashes occasionally illuminated the Englishwoman's mysterious figure. The audience liked this show. The atmosphere of mystery could make no less impression than any bright entrance.
Lily climbed into the ring and went straight to the center. The light returned to the hall and now everyone could see the figure in a black cloak . Black crow's feathers covered the Englishwoman from head to toe, and a large hood hid her face. When the chorus began, Lily took off her cloak, throwing it outside the ring. The Englishwoman brought one hand behind her back, and stretched the other hand to the side. With her head held high, she turned around her axis, showing the audience her sophisticated appearance and grace. It combined strength and beauty. The hall was filled with applause. The Black Crow looked at them with empty eyes. She knew that the audience wanted the show, and she gave them it, nothing more. With the end of her music, the Englishwoman made a short bow, accepting the latest applause.
Then she turned to face her opponent. Catalina was slightly taller than Lily, but they were identical in terms of weight. The Englishwoman ran her eyes over her rival and at the end her cold, empty eyes rested on the eyes of the Mexican woman. Not a muscle twitched on the brunette's face. But she was looking at Catalina, as if trying to get into her soul through her eyes. And then Lily raised her right hand, offering her rival a handshake. Without words. Without emotion. But she was a stickler for mutual respect.
And if her opponent had accepted this handshake, then the Black Crow would have taken a few steps back in order to take a fighting stance. Moving her right leg back a step, she would have raised her half-bent palms to the level of her chin. The left hand was slightly in front, while the left hand remained near her head. All this time she kept her eyes on Catalina, continuing to look into her eyes. Now all that remained was to wait for the ringing of the bell.
Catalina had heard according to Yukari that Lily could influence fear, no matter how little Yukari had investigated, some things never ceased to surprise, and when Catalina looked at her opponent, her presentation was really great with that costume and atmosphere of mystery, but it wasn't until she saw Lily completely, and her mind would immediately activate her common sense, she felt how those eyes looked into her soul, getting a little scared, trying to show a confidence out of her to hide her fear.

Taking a deep breath, Lily looked at the referee, after which she nodded, making it clear that she was ready to start the match. When the striped shirt received the same confirmation from Catalina, she raised her hand above her head and then abruptly lowered it. Lily's last real fight was a long time ago. But she still remembered that only this could make her feel at least something. She was ready. She wanted it.

Under the loud screams of the audience, the Black Crow rushed forward. Her black hair began to rustle due to the gusts of air. She moved quickly and confidently. Using a basic boxing technique, she began to shift from side to side at every step. She knew that even such a slight effect of unpredictability could disorient an opponent. Her eyes were still focused on Catalina's eyes.
It is said that most combinations in boxing begin with a jab in order to test the opponent's defense. But Lily had a different approach. That's why she accelerated on the last step in order to break into Catalina's space. The Black Crow ducked slightly and then threw her right hand forward, directing a right cross into the left side of the Mexican woman's torso. It is usually expected that the first punch will be aimed at the head, but this was one of the reasons why Lily acted differently. In this way she wanted to make Catalina lose her concentration. And if she really succeeded, then nothing would prevent the Black Crow from straightening up to her full height in order to send a left hook straight to her opponent's head!
Catalina was ready, seeing the opportunity to get off to a good start against her opponent was exciting, no matter how much she showed an ...... Well, she would not show a single expression against her.
So when they both seemed ready, Catalina as a joke would take a stance in the style of the old days, changing in no time to one more like a boxer, being ready when the bell rang giving start to the fight.
Catalina would notice that Lily's fighting style seemed to be something like boxing, moving to try to adapt, but soon she would see that the blow was not like others, hitting her in her body and making her cover it up, being another mistake that soon sent her to receive another blow but in her head!!!!
Catalina after that blow on her head, stumbled a little, before shaking her head and showing again on the target, approaching with speed and trying to throw a kick against Lily aiming it against her stomach.
Acting coldly and calculating, Lily was the one who started the match. The Englishwoman approached her rival without a shadow of doubt. Usually at such moments, many feel anticipation or excitement. But not her. The Black Crow was very little familiar with such concepts. And now, as she approached Catalina, only one thing could be seen in her eyes. Purposefulness. She had a purpose. To win. And the rest was not important to her.
Using her boxing skills, Lily broke into the space of the Mexican woman. She acted very unpredictably and it helped her. Her right fist smashed into Catalina's torso. And this forced the other brunette to weaken her protection by lowering her hands. The Englishwoman's yellow eyes sparkled in the spotlight. Without hesitation, she straightened up and sent a much harder punch to Catalina's head.
The force of that punch was enough to make the Mexican woman stumble backwards. Lily stabilized her fighting stance, and then rushed after Catalina. She should not have missed the opportunity, after a successful combination, the advantage was on her side. The Englishwoman was already intending to push off from the mat, but it was at this moment that the woman with makeup also rushed towards Lily. The brunette noticed how her opponent's leg began to rise, but she didn't have enough time to react to it. The only thing she managed to do was to put her right leg back a little.

Catalina's foot slammed into Lily's unprotected stomach. The brunette's face was distorted with pain, they could say that her expression changed for the first time since the start of the match. Lily was going to grab Catalina's foot, which crashed into her stomach, and then raise her head in order to look into the eyes of the Mexican woman. The Black Crow was really feeling pain right now. But it wasn't enough yet.
The Black Crow was going to start spinning, holding Catalina's leg. So she wanted to quickly throw her opponent to the mat with a dragon screw. And if she had succeeded, the brunette would not have hesitated. Continuing to hold the leg of the woman with makeup, Lily would fall on the mat. And at the same time, she was going to wrap Catalina's leg with her own legs. Once she was a successful MMA fighter and submission holds were her bread and butter. So now she was going to fix Catalina's foot behind the armpit first, and then start pressing on her knee joint with a classic, but painful kneebar!

Not being able to feel passion, she just set herself a goal. Being in the ring and experiencing pain, she wanted to believe that someday it would help her to be like all other people.
Catalina's kick made Lily feel something for the first time in a long time. We can say that from that moment on, the match became something a little more for her. But she wasn't going to stop. She was determined to cope with this pain and respond to her opponent with her own attack.
And it turned out to be a success. She managed to catch the Mexican woman by surprise and throw her on the mat. The Black Crow always acted quickly and without a doubt, this gave her an advantage. Therefore, after a moment, she securely caught Catalina in the submission hold. The brunette began to methodically and smoothly, but constantly put pressure on her opponent's knee joint.
The woman with makeup started groaning because of the pain. Lily looked at her rival's face with an absolutely blank look. Someone could probably call it cruel or something like that. But the fact remained. Lily didn't feel any pleasure or regret about it. She just didn't care. It's a match. And she was determined to win. However, Catalina had other thoughts on this matter. Quickly enough, the Mexican woman pulled herself together and began to crawl to the ropes.
"Not only fast, but also strong," thought the Black Crow.
The long-haired brunette did not know what to call it correctly. But she was willing to admit that her rival deserved what is usually called respect. Not every fighter is able to find the strength to start moving to the ropes so quickly. Of course, the Black Crow did not want to let Catalina go so easily, so she was increasing the pressure on her opponent's joint more and more. However, the Mexican woman continued to move towards the ropes. And then...

In the blink of an eye, Lily's arms and legs relaxed. She stopped exerting pressure and let her rival go. Yes, she was devoid of emotions. And many might think that she doesn't care about the rules because of this. But it wasn't like that. She was insensitive, but she wasn't a bad person. The Black Crow rose to her feet and looked at Catalina. Right now, she could grab her opponent again, drag her to the center of the ring and continue the offensive. But instead, Lily took a few steps back. She was determined to give Catalina the opportunity to calmly get to her feet so that they could continue the match on equal terms.
Catalina was feeling how her foot was with a sensation similar to burning, but that did not stop her determination, so getting to the ropes and doing the Rope Break was something she felt so happy about, and realizing, she seemed to have seen something in Lily, as even though she could take her and lead her into a worse submission, she did not, instead she let her stand up, and when she was standing, she took a little breath, before approaching Lily with some rather large steps, and trying to throw her fists against Lily's body and face
The Black Crow stood quietly and watched her rival. Then she looked around at the sides. During the fight, she was always focused only on her opponent and therefore she rarely paid attention to what was happening around her. Only now her attention was attracted by the screams of the audience. It seems they enjoyed the match. They were overwhelmed with emotions. Ironic.
The yellow eyes shifted back to the Mexican woman, who had already risen to her feet. Catalina did not react in any way to the fact that Lily gave her the opportunity to get up. However, it was not very important for the Englishwoman. Sometimes she really tried to understand other people, but during the match she didn't have time for that. The Black Crow clenched her fists and took a fighting stance. Time to continue the match.
And it seems that the woman with makeup also agreed with this. This became especially clear at the moment when she rushed into the attack. The long-haired brunette's left eyebrow rose slightly. It was very difficult to surprise her with something. But sometimes it did happen. Catalina rushed into the attack so quickly, as if her knee had not received any damage. For Lily, it was a kind of cognitive dissonance.
She began to sway on her toes, preparing for her opponent's attack. When Catalina first waved her hand, the Black Crow refused to meet this attack. She took a short step back, dodging a punch from her opponent. However, another punch followed, which this time was aimed directly at her face. Lily tried to raise her right hand, but it was too late.
"Gh..." a very small painful sound escaped through her closed mouth.
Hardly anyone could hear it, but at least it proved that she could speak and make sounds. If no one noticed, she hadn't said a single word or made a single sound until that moment. Catalina's fist smashed into the Englishwoman's chin, causing pain and slightly stunning her. Lily staggered and took a step back. In order to somehow defend herself, she threw her left hand forward, hoping to hit the Mexican woman's head with her fist, although there was no point denying it, this punch was very bad due to the fact that she was stunned.
