Earlier, Backstage...
"I was a world champion in Full Metal Wrestling. I'm not as green as you believe." Sophia managed to speak with a soft smile when Thereisa gave her a prep talk. In all truth though, she certainly had been learning to refine her already deadly strikes thanks to Thereisa, as well as pick up a few strategies. The most helpful training Sophia recieved was how to deal with those who cheated often. As a face wrestler, Sophia was too honourable for her own good, but thanks to Thereisa she was beginning to learn how to deal with those who were less than honourable in wrestling matches... what to avoid, how to defend.
More so than the pointers and the training, Thereisa had been a crutch for Sophia. Someone to rely on and speak too, something Sophia had never had before. As such her spirits were beginning to lift when she had all but been down and out previously. Since her LAW debut, whilst she had taken the roster by storm and continued a fantastic record, she had made more enemies then friends. Nha and Sha were her latest terrors, along with Mia Hoffstedder and Alcina. Fortunately she was able to overcome Alcina with massive help from Thereisa, knocking one of her threats down. There were still many to deal with, but for the first time with Thereisa by her side, it no longer felt like her back was up against the wall.
Sophia near yelped as Thereisa pulled her in for a quick hug, giving her a reassuring squeeze before kissing her on the forehead. Sophia managed a sheepish smile, trying to hide it from Thereisa. This kind of thing was all so new to her, she had disowned her unloving parents at a young age and did not know what it was like to have a mother figure in her life. Thereisa had taken the roll for her, and embraced it, going as far as to call Sophia her daughter. It would take some getting used to to be sure, but Sophia enjoyed it... it was like a dream come true to have her idol become her mother figure.
"Ich werde..."
Now...
Sophia's entrance had just finished, leaving the German face to face with her opponent in the ring as she adjusted her wrist straps and looked the woman in the eye.
"Little Wolf?..." Sophia scoffed, in clear reponse to Luiza's call out a moment ago. She finished adjusting the straps on her wrists before rolling her shoulders, looking her powerful looking opponent up and down to try and get a good read for what she was up against.
"Are you a little pig in a brick house Luiza Ishikawa?..." Sophia would ask her as she finished her warm ups. Sophia despite being a face and being the stern presence that she was... was seemingly not beyond trash talking when it came down to it.
"Let's hope so for your sake... Otherwise this big bad Wolf is going to blow you right down." Sophia addressed with an impassive expression, staring with one good eye and one half closed where the scar traced over it. Soon enough, Sophia took a fighting stance, prompting the crowd to cheer as it seemed things were about to get underway. Soon enough the bell began to ring out, signalling the beginning of the match!
