Ninjutsu and the Way of the Fist [Drifter Vs Lotus]

The referee's presence was nothing but an inconvenience to Lotus. Whilst Drifter was given a little time to gain her bearings, the authority figure was giving Lotus down the banks with verbal assault, giving her last warnings and trying to keep her back. It was all white noise to Lotus, who continued to stare at Drifter. It had barely been ten seconds, and it was obvious Drifter needed more time after being rendered unconscious from the deadly bearhug. Lotus was not giving it... and despite the complaints of the referee, Lotus began to storm forwards.

Grimacing in clear pain, it took a lot for Drifter to stand. She folded her arms over her stomach, her core still in clear agony from the crushing earlier. What was worse, Lotus' body language indicated she was coming in for another embrace! Her arms raised and she began to charge, looking to once again ensnare the smaller lightweight, aiming for a frontal bearhug this time! Drifter gasped out, the notion of being subjected to such torture again clearly alarming the smaller wrestler after having a taste of such power.

If she was caught again, it would be over. Drifter had struggled to escape the previous hold and could not match Lotus' strength! She took a step back, her body complaining at her as her bare midriff felt like it was on fire... She winced, as Lotus was upon her, seemingly certain to lock another bearhug to no doubt bring the match to a slow an agonising end... However... Drifter was never one to go down without a fight, and her expression of fear turned into one of determination, before she stepped forwards towards Lotus, risking it all for a massive attack, going for a big uppercut towards Lotus before her arms could ensnare her!

The Lotus practically loomed over the Drifter as the former sought to apply another bearhug on the latter. However before Miyuki could do so- "Grk!.." An abrupt uppercut caught her right on the chin, sending her staggering backwards several steps. Stunned by the unexpected blow to the head, she failed to keep her guard up and instead focused on caressing her head, leaving herself open to a counter-offensive from Kay.

It was a Hail Mary from Drifter. Either she hit her mark or Lotus countered her and she ended up back within another terrible embrace, one that would no doubt lead to the end of the match given it felt like Drifter was running on fumes at this point. However... Drifter felt her fist strike against Lotus' jaw! She did not catch her quite as well as she would have liked, but given the sheer strength behind Drifter's blows, even a glancing hit was dangerous from the lightweight brawler. The crowd popped loudly, as Lotus stumbled back, caught off guard, especially after leaning into it when the larger woman tried to lean down and bearhug Drifter.

Despite everything hurting in Kay's body from the vicious slams and the crushing embraces, the lightweight up and comer knew she could not relent. If she let Lotus recover she was in trouble, and the thought of another bearhug frightened Drifter, knowing how much pain Lotus could inflict and knowing she had already squeezed her out once in this match already. As such, Kay pushed on, wincing in pain... her movements somewhat sluggish, but at least swift. Drifter would use some of the moves that Clara had been teaching her during their spars (and playful fights), dropping low, and flicking her legs out to capture one of Lotus' whilst she was still stunned. If all went to plan, she looked to bring the larger woman down with a drop toe hold!

If she could do that, Drifter would look to tie up her legs with her own, before stretching herself and locked Lotus' head up. Despite the agony in her back, Drifter arched and bridged her alluring form, looking to trap Lotus in an STF submission hold!!

"Grrr..." The Lotus growled as she shook all the cobwebs out of her head. "Annoying little-woah! Gak!" The second she recovered however, her face planted onto the canvas courtesy of Drifter's drop toe hold. Dazed, Miyuki didn't even register the STF being applied until it was too late. "Aaarrrggk!" She bellowed when she felt the agonising toll the submission hold had on her back and neck.

Operating out of instinct, she first grabbed Kay's arms and tried to pry them apart or downwards to at least lessen the effects of the STF. Should that fail, the Lotus would conceive another way of escaping the hold: a rope break. Taking advantage of her own monstrous strength, she planted her fists and forearms onto the floor and started to painstakingly drag her body towards the ropes. Invariably, she would reach out for the rope break as soon as possible.

It was a testament to the sheer strength of the Lotus that she was able to pull her body along the mat whilst Drifter held her within an STF. True... Kay was only a lightweight wrestler, but it still took some going to fight through the pain and pull one’s body along when it was contorted as Lotus was right now. With a somewhat nervous expression, Drifter began to crank on the hold, looking to try and sap some energy and momentum from Lotus, hoping to put the hurt on her spine as Lotus had to herself. She was still feeling the throbbing pains in the aftermath of her bearhugs and devastating suplexes even now... but she had other concerns then to let the pain get the best of her.

Gritting her teeth, Drifter really began to pull on Lotus, stretching and curving her spine, feeling her getting ever so closer towards the ropes. A rope break was inevitable, and Drifter was in a good mind to do to Lotus what she had done to her when she refused to let go. Risking such a thing however with the mood the referee was in right now though, it could get her DQ'd. As such... rather then go through the process of a rope break, Kay could not risk Lotus having a chance to recover. As such she released her hold when Lotus was mere inches away, untangling herself from the powerful heavyweight... that was before she changed tactics, remaining crouched beside Lotus before she looked to turn the larger woman to face more towards her... before looking to ram a heavy strike right into her stomach!

The more progress the Lotus made, the worse the strain on her back and neck became. No doubt that Drifter desired to make the most of the STF while she still could. However, when Miyuki felt that she was just out of arms reach of the ropes, the aching sensation wracking her body suddenly ceased. She breathed out a relieved sigh as she faceplanted on the canvas.

Unsurprisingly, that moment of relief did not last long; Kay flipped the Lotus onto her back and- "Gack!" Drove a fist into her stomach, knocking the air out of her lungs. The recoil of the blow caused her head and shoulders to shudder upwards before flopping back down to the ground. Shocked and winded, she just laid there motionelessly, granting Drifter a free window to do whatever she so pleased.

Drifter winced in clear pain, trying to rise but faltering a little as she clutched at her core, feeling the pain and constant reminder of what her body had already been through already. It was fortunate that her body blow had caught Lotus so well as she would have otherwise been in trouble. Lotus was left in a winded and shocked state, after Drifter's fist had buried deep into her stomach. Though Drifter stumbled right now, the crowd continued to chant for her, driving her to get to her feet as she made her way towards the turnbuckle.

She began to climb, knowing a singular strike would not keep Lotus down long enough for the pin. She needed more, she needed to do something bigger! As such she continued her ascent up the turnbuckle, turning around as she could hear the crowd screaming and chanting her name. Drifter looked to see if Lotus was still grounded, and was pleased to see she was only just beginning to stir, remaining on the ground. What felt like it took minutes to get on top of the turnbuckle could only have actually been seconds, but regardless of anything, there was no going back now.

Leaping from the top of the turnbuckle, Drifter made great distance and sailed through the air with an elegance about her form. The snaps all began on cameras and camera phones as she leapt. The moment she was in range of Lotus, Drifter thrust downwards with her bare feet together, going for a devastating double stomp against Lotus stomach, bouncing off of her in brutal fashion!

Inhaling heavy breaths, the Lotus writhed weakly and lightly caressed her recently bruised abdomen. "Grrrr..." She let out a half-groan, half-growl before she furiously slammed a hammer fist onto the floor. At the very least, she recovered enough from being winded to survey the ring and keep a close watch on Drifter. Miyuki's eyes widened when she spotted her opponent perched atop a corner, poised to attempt some sort of aerial manoeuvre.

Soon enough, her suspicions and fears were proven true when Drifter gracefully jumped off the turnbuckle. The Lotus lifted her shoulders up, attempting to roll away but- "Krgk!" She was far too slow. Kay's feet smashed cleanly onto the heavyweight's belly. Her head and limbs recoiled upwards from the devastating impact before slumping lifelessly. Now thoroughly winded, the only movement to come from the Lotus was the rapid contracting and expanding of chest, her lungs desperately working to get air back into her system.

Half the crowd could not help but gasp out as the impact of Drifter's double stomp from the turnbuckle hit, whilst the other half of the crowd began to raise up to their feet and cheer loudly! It was a big move, and impressive to see Drifter get so much distance upon her leap, especially when Lotus was alert enough to near get out of the way! Drifter seemed to bounce a few feet away after the impact, whilst Lotus was left flat on her back, laid out and focused only on breathing!

Drifter had collapsed after the move onto her hands and knees. Her body glistened with sweat as she breathed hard and deep herself. She wondered if she had done enough to Lotus... if she could snatch victory from what had felt like certain defeat at several points during the match. She leaned back, until she collapsed backwards, getting into Lotus to initiate an exhausted pinfall attempt. Drifter looked up at the sky lights, her chest rising and falling deeply, her glistening midriff still straining from the earlier and brutal crushing and slams. The referee could see Drifter was going for a pinfall attempt, and slid over to initiate the count!

The Lotus grimaced and closed her eyes as she inhaled heavy breathes, her abdomen shrieking in agony. "Nhhh..." She groaned when she felt a concerning unidentified weight laying atop her. Then she heard an equally concerning sound that revealed to her the severity of her situation.
"Two!"

She gnashed her teeth together and ignored the pain as she focused everything she had into breaking out of the pin attempt. "Grar!" With a guttural grunt, she threw her right arm in the air in an attempt to lift her shoulder off the mat before it was too late. However, even if she successfully thwarted Drifter's pinfall attempt, Miyuki was still far too out of it to do anything other than laying down and wishing for a speedier recovery.
