Re: Sheila Chihara vs. Louise Vandenbroeck [D]
It seemed as though Sheila and Louise had more in common with one another than they had thought. While their personalities couldn't be further apart, they shared a high-energy style, both of them preferring to stay in motion and strike quickly before their opponents could react. And in this instance, Sheila had the edge. While Louise was used to being on the move, she came from a background in basketball, where evasion was more important than offense. But Sheila had gotten her start in backyard wrestling, and she'd been practicing her moves even before she had started training with LAW. When it came to hurling herself into another human being with intent to take them down or keep them there, Sheila was in her element.
Her hips came down on top of the fallen Louise, landing on her with a smack. Her body deflated under Sheila's weight, and the canvas rocked beneath the two of them. But Louise was quick to react, pushing back against the Australian girl and sending her tumbling off of her before she could follow up from the mounted position. She rolled aside sputtering, but she was undeterred. Sheila rolled to her knees, soon after picking herself back up to her feet. Louise wasn't so lucky - she could only get to all fours, grabbing at her gut where her opponent had landed.
Sheila caught her breath and dusted off her hands, getting back down into a stance. She leaned in closer to Lousie with some concern - "Heeeey, you alright there?" - but whatever regrets she had about hitting Louise when she was down wouldn't be enough to stop her from what she was about to do next. After all, her trainers had taught her how any moment of hesitation could be one an opponent could seize on, and for all she knew, Louise was only playing dumb, waiting for the moment where she'd jump back up and hit Sheila with a surprise attack! That wasn't likely, but it could still happen! Sheila could afford no mercy!
If Louise wasn't used to strikes, then nothing would prepare her for her opponent's next move. Sheila stood with Louise between her legs, planting one foot to either side of the white-haired girl. From there, she kicked off the ground, dropping backward to slam her hips against Louise's back. This time, she would stay there, tightening her thighs against her sides before she reached down to take Louise's legs and bend them into a Boston Crab!

Re: Sheila Chihara vs. Louise Vandenbroeck [D]
Louise's next breaths were like finding a piece of hay in a needlestack. The triumph of once again finding shaky, greedy breaths was nearly outweighed by the lingering sharpness that still pressed around her torso. She'd bought herself a moment's respite by shoving Sheila off, but that peace of mind and body was not to last. "Khhkaa... P-Piss off!" She cursed at the approaching younger woman despite her worried words, still unable to do much more than breathe.
By the time she mustered enough strength to move, Louise found that Sheila had positioned herself just above her newly less-prostrate form. "What are you -- oof!" Sheila leapt up once more for a second hip drop! When it landed, the Aussie remained firmly planted on her back -- where she then proceeded to lock in a Boston Crab!
"Hrr... Haah..." Louise took deep, growling breaths as she analyzed her situation. Her heart lurched momentarily towards her stomach, and her left leg tensed reflexively. But in the end, that was all it was: A fleeting moment of panic. Her knee was fine, Louise reminded herself. This hold of Sheila's focused more on her upper legs.
Still, that pain in her thighs was enough to remind her that she ought to escape. Sheila was seated and locked firmly around her sides, so going for her legs would likely be a fool's errand. They were too far from the ropes for those to be an option. "Rrrgh... Let go, dammit!"

Re: Sheila Chihara vs. Louise Vandenbroeck [D]
No matter how much Louise was resisting, it didn't slow Sheila down one bit. She was on a roll! The adrenaline was throwing through her veins, and she was quick to lose herself in the routine, each move she made flowing to her without a second thought. With the white-haired girl down, Sheila threw herself down on top of her to keep her stunned - and then, flattened her under her weight, the former basketballer was left open for Sheila to hold the mounted position with a Boston Crab!
Grinning wide, Sheila pulled back harder at Louise's legs, contorting her spine. She heard the cheers coming down from the stands toward her, and she felt emboldened with the desire to carry things through! They all believed in her, and she was eager to give them what they wanted to see! Sheila may have still been a Young Lioness, but already she knew she was going places.
Louise, it seemed, wasn't used to a situation like this. She seemed to have been surprised when Sheila began to lock in the hold, and now she was barely fighting back. The Australian girl had to wonder how long she'd been training for. Surely, everyone knew the Boston Crab; it was one of the first holds a wrestler was taught! Even Sheila knew that!
"What's the matter?" Sheila said with a giggle, looking down at Louise - and inadvertently putting more pressure on her spine when she leaned back to get a better look at her eye-to-eye. "Don't tell me you've never seen a Boston Crab before!"

Re: Sheila Chihara vs. Louise Vandenbroeck [D]
"Grrgh..." She had no idea what to do in this situation. Here she was, being bent into a stupid little C shape by this way-too-cheery Australian above her. Just minutes into her LAW debut, and her back was already against the wall. And more than that, Sheila had the gall to taunt her about it!
"Don't..." Louise muttered shakily. It wasn't clear what exactly she was pleading for, not even to Louise herself. But then she locked eyes with Sheila, and all that doubt went away. "Don't," she repeated with newfound firmness and venom alike in her voice. Louise was incensed at she saw. Sheila was -- the crowd was -- all of them were -- literally...! "Don't look down on me, damnit!" She reached behind her, grabbing at the only thing she could find within reach: Sheila's hair!
The Scarlet Streak yanked down on the black ponytail dangling above her, hoping to drag Sheila off of her and onto the canvas! A more experienced wrestler might have worried about Sheila hanging on and cranking the Crab further, or perhaps that the fans would boo such an underhanded tactic. But none of that mattered to Louise anymore. Not with the supposedly basic hold that had her helpless. Not with the audience jeering all around her. Not with that cheeky goddamn grin on Sheila's face.
All of that energized Louise to try something else that she'd never done before: If she managed to loosen Sheila's grip and shove the Australian off of her, she'd follow up with a rough backhanded slap across her face! To someone like Louise who had quite literally never thrown a strike, to someone as angry as she was in this moment, it was all she had the wherewithal to do.

Re: Sheila Chihara vs. Louise Vandenbroeck [D]
For Sheila, this was all fun and games. She had Louise locked in a hold, and her taunts were aimed just as much to tease the Scarlet Streak about fighting back as much as they were to celebrate her own victory. She pulled harder at her legs to tighten the pressure, but at the same time she wiggled her hips back and forth to grind more of her weight into the girl's back - and to put on a playful show of dominance in the process. For Sheila, she was in control of the match, she was climbing the ranks, and she was going to seize that opportunity.
But the former basketball player wasn't in this to have fun. She was in it to win - not just the match, but her own self-respect. There was no way she was going to submit to a hold like this. And it was that stubbornness that fueled her, as she reached up to latch onto Sheila's hair!
The Australian girl, with her back turned to Louise, never saw it coming. But the next thing she knew, she felt the pressure on her scalp, and her head bent backward against the leverage her opponent applied. "YEE-OWCH-!!" she cried out, her eyes going wide and her jaw dropping with a gasp. Now her own spine was bending backward against the force of Louise's pull, the two of them coming to resemble a circle more than a C. With her body rocked by a sudden jolt, Sheila's muscles went slack - and just then, she let go of Louise, letting her drop to the mat below!
Louise wasted no time in shoving Sheila aside. She tumbled over and onto her back, panting for breath. And just a moment later, the backhand cracked across her cheek, knocking her back down flat on her back! Sheila's head snapped to the side, and she brought her hand up to rub at her face where Louise had struck it.
"Ow! Oww..." The pain was still fresh, and Sheila could still feel her cheek throbbing. Wincing, she rolled over onto her side, her back turned to Louise, as she tried to protect herself. But she was still well within range...

Re: Sheila Chihara vs. Louise Vandenbroeck [D]
A yank turned into a tug as Louise tried to pry the Australian off of her back. Eventually, those efforts bore fruit, and Louise was able to roughly shove Sheila to the mat. Pain arose in her wrist as her wild backhand connected -- an improper strike made even more painful by Louise's inexperienced agitation.
But Louise was free, and she stumbled to her feet like she'd just had a rough landing after a layup. She breathed deeply, rubbing at the sore spot on her back with the one on her wrist. Still, she stepped towards Sheila.
One powerful leg shot out like a mantis shrimp, quick and deadly. It struck at Sheila's back, hoping to flop her onto all fours. Louise pointed at her opponent shakily, as she still soothed her other hand and her back. "Don't..." she repeated, this time as a muttered parting shot that she wasn't even sure Sheila would hear. "Don't look down on me."
Then, forgoing any additional time to heal up, Louise surged forward with the straight-line speed of an elite athlete! She stepped up onto Sheila's back before launching off of it and into the air. With her explosive leaping ability, it was likely that even the simple act of jumping off of Sheila's back with one leg would impart no small amount of pressure onto the prostrate Australian. But what came next would surely hurt even more, as Louise would kick back down as she landed, delivering a stepped-up double stomp right onto the center of her back!

Re: Sheila Chihara vs. Louise Vandenbroeck [D]
The backhand might not have been the most complicated of maneuvers, but it worked well for Louise's purposes. She had gotten Sheila off of her, and more to the point, she had hit hard. The Australian girl was still rubbing at her cheek with a few pants for breath as she rolled herself up onto her side - but Louise was far from done. The former basketball player lashed out again, this time slamming the sole of her foot into Sheila's back!
Crying out in pain, Sheila rolled onto her elbows and knees, the momentum of the strike proving enough to bowl her over. Wincing, she clenched her teeth as she reached back behind her to rub at where she felt her blow land. "Oww..." she whined softly. Whether it be the quietness of Louise's voice or the pain in her back occupying Sheila's thoughts, either way the Young Lioness didn't hear what her opponent had to say. Nor did she see her next move coming - until the moment Louise planted her foot on her back to use her as a springboard!
"YOW-!!" Her jaw dropping with a yelp as Louise kicked off of her, Sheila fell forward and landed flat on her face. It was the surprise that shook her more than the impact itself, as Louise forced her head into the mat off the momentum of her jump. But what followed was definitely the impact itself talking. Louise came down feet-first onto Sheila's back in a well-placed stomp, one that caused her to fall flat onto her face and chest with a thud as the ring rocked beneath them! She cried out in pain before she went still, sinking flat against the canvas.

Re: Sheila Chihara vs. Louise Vandenbroeck [D]
Sheila's collapse sent Louise tumbling ass-backwards onto the canvas. Ever agile -- and, in fact, used to such rocky landings -- she swiftly rose to her feet. In that moment, she noticed two things. The first were the boos of the crowd, interspersed but surely noticeable. Likely somewhat incensed at her rough treatment of a young, developmental wrestler who was still a fan favorite.
She couldn't blame them. Even Louise had to wince at her momentary brutality, or at least that which she perceived as such. Though she was hardly ever reflected on it these days, she did come from a sport that outright discouraged physical contact beyond impeding an opponent's forward progress. Punching and kicking were right out of the question, to say nothing of jumping and stomping on an opponent. Combat sports were a whole new paradigm that she would have to get used to if she wanted to remain in this league.
The other thing she'd noticed were the cheers. Celebrating the exciting action within the squared circle that Louise had somehow found herself a part of. Just as it did when she'd sprung into the ring for her entrance, those cheers brought a number of contradictory reactions to Louise's face: A slight, subconscious smirk. A wary narrowing of her eyes. A light dust of pink upon her cheeks. A resentful gritting of her teeth.
"Damn pannenkoeken..." she muttered under her breath before sitting back down besides Sheila. "Now let's get this over with..." The Nederlander took her opponent's arm between her legs, planted those legs on the other side of Sheila's body, and pulled -- setting up a basic cross armbar upon Sheila's back!

Re: Sheila Chihara vs. Louise Vandenbroeck [D]
Louise was new to LAW - to wrestling in general, in fact - and many in the crowd didn't know what to make of her. It was only to be expected that people were still getting a feel for the newcomer. And while many booed the raw brutality of her moves, no one could deny that her balance, coordination, and agility were worthy of praise. She was putting them all to good use - and Sheila could feel that as much, as she sank face-first into the canvas off the aftershocks of her opponent's impact.
Sheila's head was still spinning. She couldn't keep track of where her opponent was or what she was up to, up until she felt a sharp pressure on her arm, her bicep trapped between Louise's thighs. But she was going to have to catch up with the action soon - and she was thrown back to reality from the sharp pain coursing down her back, as the Scarlet Streak yanked on her arm! Her shoulder was being stretched back further than it was meant to go, and her head reeled backward as her back arched, her features contorting with a cry of pain. Sheila began to twist her body from side to side, hoping she could find the momentum she needed to get her opponent off of her - or at least to loosen the hold a little!

Re: Sheila Chihara vs. Louise Vandenbroeck [D]
Louise's moves, to this point, had been quite basic. A pull of Sheila's hair, a slap across her face, and a brief kick. Even her double stomp was, at its core, just weaponizing gravity. This armbar of hers continued that theme, as it was a rudimentary hold at best. She had enough time so as not to be hasty in its construction, but there was likely some inefficiency or another in her structure. If there was, Louise saw no indication of it, as Sheila groaned and grit her teeth just the way the Scarlet Streak expected her to!
"Rrgh... come on, like I said. Get this over with, just tap...!"
For the moment though, she simply kept the hold locked in! Louise arched her back and lifted her hips, cranking up her leverage upon the Australian's shoulder! She pulled and leaned back, amateurishly generating more power with her arms than with her grip and positioning. More than that, her inexperience showed in the way she discounted her opponent's motions. As the Oranjegirl continued to pull, each writhing twist from Sheila gradually loosened her hold. Louise's hands slowly slid down Sheila's arm until they sat just at her wrist -- a precarious position for what was originally designed to be a damning grip!
