Skylar Jones vs Chika Igarashi - Brawler vs Knight!

Chika was interested in the frequency of her being booked against Middleweights. She was still quite far behind from being one herself, compared to someone like Clara, who actively monitored her weight to not cross the line between Middleweight and Lightweight.

It's not that she minded, she could still effectively fight bigger foes, but it was interesting how actively she was booked like that. Were there bigger plans for her down the line, she wondered?

Still, herself and Thirteen appeared on top of the entrance ramp, at the top of the hour on LAW TV. Chika once again appeared in her armor, while Thirteen wore her usual attire, as the two, Chika proudly, and Thirteen with a smile, walked down the entrance ramp before entering the ring, Chika climbing on top of the entrance ramp, lifting her helmet into the air, before hopping off. Her theme quieted down, and she took off her armor, passed it to Thirteen as her manager exit the ring, while she took her place at her corner, awaiting Skylar's entrance.

"And her opponent from Perry, Iowa, weighing in at 162 pounds, the Brawling Puppet, SKYLARRRR JOOONES!"

Skylar appeared at the top of the ramp, getting her usual mix of cheers and jeers from the crowd. "Come on, louder!" She grinned, getting an even bigger pop. A smirk came to her face as she saw the woman in the ring. A bit older than her, smaller too. Another easy win. She flipped over the top rope, and pointed a finger at Chika with a sly grin. "Hope ya got health insurance! No hard feelings, but Imma break your ass in half like a twig!"

Skylar was younger, but she was much bigger and a lot more fiery than Chika was. The crowd's reaction was fully mixed, though she charged them up further to get them to cheer and boo her louder.

Shortly afterwards, she made her way to the ring, before taunting Chika with a sly grin. Chika would give a confident smile back:

"You should try and do that before I kick your head off your shoulders"

With the "pleasantries" exchanged, Chika nodded at the ref that she was ready, waiting for Skylar to do the same before the match got going...

Skylar and Chika sized one another up, exchanging playful trash talk. "Sure you can get your foot that high, shorty?" The brunette taunted, nodding at the referee to start the match.

DING DING DING!!!

The signal being given for the two women to tear into each other, Skylar approached her rival with her fists raised, before offering Chika a fist bump as a show of sportsmanship. Whether or not Chika accepts, the brawler then sends a kick flying into the mom's abdomen, hoping to send her stumbling back. She was quick to close the distance, swinging a hard punch at Chika's head!

Chika huffed at the remark about her height. She wasn't short at all, relative to women in Japan, even if LAW was attracting women of quite large sizes from throughout the world.

Still, despite the insult, she fist bumped Skylar after the bell...before the bigger woman sent a hard kick to her stomach!

"UGGGH!!!"

The follow-up, however, Chika would freely see coming, ducking under her rival's fist, stepping under her...

...and trying to spin herself on one foot, while aiming her right one at Skylar's head for a Spinning Heel Kick!

Skylar smirked, her foot digging into Chika's stomach. The grunt the shorter woman gave brought Skylar sadistic satisfaction, attempting to follow the hit up with a punch to the face! Before her fist met it's mark however, Chika ducked under her, causing Sky to gasp in surprise before her rival's foot SLAMMED into her face, sending her stumbling back into the ropes, her cheek bone exploding in pain. She wouldn't stay down long, bouncing right off the ropes and running towards Chika with a lariat!

Chika needed a moment to catch her breath after the punch to her stomach, only momentarily ignoring the pain in order to deliver the harsh attack to her rival's face...

...and this pause would cost her, as Skylar dashed into the ropes through Chika's kick and slammed her head with her forearm for a hard clothesline!

"UUGH!!!"

The clothesline was hard enough to floor the Joshi. While she tried to try and scramble back to her feet, she knew she wouldn't do it in time before Skylar's follow up attack...

Skylar had a manic grin on her face as her lariat knocked Chika onto the ground with a thud, the crowd cheering as the street fighter took an early advantage in the match. She was quick to kneel over Chika's body, lifting the smaller woman by the hair and nailing her in the face with several hard punches right below the left eye, before leaning down and BITING into her forehead! When she was done, she slammed Chika's head into the ground, before hooking her leg for a pin attempt!

"1!"

Chika groaned after the Lariat floored her, with Skylar mounting her to deliver hard punches to her head! After letting the first punch through, before closing her face with her arms to block the next few punches...

...before Skylar started biting at her forehead!

"AAAAH! <WHAT ARE YOU DO-> AAAAAH!!!"

Once she was done (and right as the ref was about to admonish her), Skylar slammed Chika's head into the ground and pinned her:

"ONE--NO!"

Angrily, Chika harshly pushed her body up to break up the pin!
