Charity Battle: Vera Sapphire vs Thereisa Niedermeyer

Thereisa let's go of her opponent arm before the ref could reach the count of five. Annoyed that she didn't get the submission victory, but she feels that she did enough to Vera arm to really allow her to go all out since some of her opponent power moves are gone.

Rolling to her feet in anger, she glares and decides to get what would be called a cheap shot. As she stomps on the limb that was locked in the submission hold not too long ago.

Finally, the hold was broken, and with a final gift in the form of a stomp to her hurting arm, Thereisa walked away from Vera.

The Russian was cringing, but nodded her head at the question of whether she was good to continue. She slowly made her way back to her feet, supporting herself with her healthy arm on the rope...

...before trying to explosively dash into Widow, trying to ram her healthy arm into her head for a hard Lariat!

[The Riders]

Walking away from her opponent. Her arms raised high as she struts around the ring, egging the fans on by waving her hands for them to keep booing her.

Turning around with that smug look on her face. Thereisa walks right into a strong Lariat. The force and impact of the move sends her flipping into the air before crashing down to the canvas in a heap.

Clutching her throat with her hand, coughing as her feet kick the mat as she is stunned.

Vera wouldn't waste any time going for her next attack, trying to get to the ropes once more for a rebound, before aiming herself back at Thereisa. Her strategy, now that her arm was hurting, was to maximize the hurt on Widow by any means necessary, leaving her too tired to counter attack.

Right now, this entailed rushing towards her, and jumping, trying to slam her own body on top of her with a Running Splash!

Thereisa is down and in a daze. She didn't expect Vera to hit her that hard, even with the arm being hurt enough. She figured that the young woman would be on the defense side and try not to do something reckless...

'AAAHHH' Thereisa screams out. As she was not able to get her legs up in time... Her limbs flopping into the air from taking a splash to the stomach, feeling the air leave her body before laying still on the canvas.

With Thereisa on the ropes, at least figuratively for now, Vera would quickly pick herself up from the heavyweight's body. Had she had a moment, she'd pose and play to the crowd...but Thereisa was too dangerous a foe to do this against. She would immediately push the offence, grabbing her rival's right leg, before flipping her on her stomach, to trap her in a Single Leg Boston Crab! She tried to bend Widow's leg and spine as much as she could!

Thereisa is down, but clearly not out. As she was not able to get to her feet in time due to Vera wanting to keep the pressure on her, seems that the young woman knows about her brutal style in the ring... and just giving her a tiny bit of time to recover can be taken advantage of for someone like Thereisa. 'AAAHHHH" as she let's out a cry of pain, feeling her leg being bent from the submission hold, but the weight of Vera sitting on her lower back and spine area. Letting out a grunt, trying to look around for the ring ropes... as she starts to inch her way towards them.

Thereisa would attempt to crawl to the ropes, unable to escape the hold under her own power. Vera smirked at this victory against Thereisa, pulling on her leg as she tried to get as much damage as she could to her back and leg!

Eventually, she would try to make things worse for Widow, pressing her knee into her back as she pulled her leg, trying to make the pain even more hellish!

[The Riders]

Just when Thereisa thought she was going to make it to the ring ropes. Her opponent would place her knee onto her back, forcing more of a strain onto the lower back and leg. The pain is starting to wear her down as she keeps struggling trying to make it to the ring ropes.

“AAAAAAARRRHH! UUUUGGH!” Screaming out in pain... Thereisa makes one last desperate lunge for the ring ropes, being able to place just her fingertips onto the rope, saving herself from having to tap out to the younger woman.

Thereisa would finally manage to get herself out of the hellish hold via a rope break. Hopefully the veteran now knew - Vera wasn’t just a pretty face noobie. If Thereisa was going to be brutal, than she could easily match her.

Vera stepped away, happy with knowledge that Widow’s back was hurt more than she would’ve liked, meaning using her strength was unlikely going forward in the match…
