Irish Oldschool vs. The Enclave

Lauren was really getting egg on her face now as she looked elated from finally getting hold of Shira, lifting her high into the air! However her smile turned to a frown as she frantically flailed while falling backward letting out a loud howl of pain as the reverse DDT planted her hard to the mat! "AARRRGGGHHHH!" Lauren howled as she cradled her head in her arms, weakly kicking the mat as this counter left her laid out on the canvas!

"Yeah, yeah, alright!" Cheers erupted from Yoro when her friend performed her inverse ddt counter to perfection. Meanwhile, Shira herself breathed out a relieved sigh as she rolled onto her feet. Seeing Lauren's downed state, The redhead lunged forwards, placed her body atop the blonde's, and hooked one of her kicking legs for the standard pin. The referee reacted accordingly and started the count.
"One!.."

"COME ON LAUREN KICK OUT ALREADY!" A fuming Peggy shouted from the apron, stomping her foot down over and over while she grabbed the top rope with both hands, leaning in to get as close as she could as if her loud screams may not reach Laurens ears.

Lauren moaned in pain and kicked the mat a couple times with her free leg before thrusting her shoulder up to break the pin right about at the two count! She gasped for breath and tried to shove Shira away in one direction before rolling the other way to create as much distance as she could to allow herself to stumble back up to her feet. Lauren didn't want to look any weaker than she already head so she moved at Shira before leaping into the air to try to hammer her with a running cross body block to get back into the fight!

"Tch..." Shira couldn't help clicking her tongue when her opponent kicked out of her pinfall attempt. Despite what Lauren may have thought, her action of pushing Killswitch away actually worked into the latter's favour as she took advantage of the boost in momentum to swiftly roll onto her feet. As such, she adopted a fighting stance within seconds and was more than ready to deal with the American's cross body block. In an incredible display of agility, Shira bent over backwards and bridged, leaving Lauren to crash into nothing but the ground.

""Oomph!" Lauren groaned as she splashed to the mat abdomen first, knocking the wind out of herself! Lauren kicked the mat in pain before gasping for breath, stumbling back up to her feet. The big heavyweight swayed back and forth on limp legs as she struggled to catch her breath after it was knocked out of her. Lauren had her hands up again trying to move in and not look like a chump. She held her arms up for a grapple as she moved in until the last minute swinging a knee up into the abdomen of Shira!

"Hup!.." With a grunt of effort, Shira performed a kip-up to stand up and spun around to face Lauren. Invariably, the redhead opted to play it safe and allowed the blonde to recover. Shira predicted the incoming grapple attempt from her opponent and poised herself to counter the throw or hold accordingly.

However, she soon realised that she fell for a feint. Although she positioned both of her forearms to absorb the brunt of the blow, the haphazardness of the block combined with Lauren's strength sent Killswitch staggering backwards, her guard actually broken for the first time in this match. Despite the fact that she quickly raised her guard again, her confidence had taken a hit.

Lauren managed to get a hit in... finally... and wanted to keep moving at Shira. She reached out as she attempted to grab hold of Shira by the head or by the hair, hoping to just get hold of something! Lauren wanted to try to whip her around by delivering a trio of snapmares in succession hoping to stun Shira long enough for Lauren to actually get enough offense in to get her momentum rolling!

Shira grimaced as she held her ground against Lauren. Killswitch may have been shaken by the unexpectd success of her foe's knee but she remained as alert as ever. Unwilling to let Lauren close the distance again, Shira stepped forwards and attempted a superkick aimed at the heavyweight wrestler's head. The lightweight didn't put too much force into her kick. Instead, she relied on Lauren's own charging velocity to multiply the damage of the superkick.

Lauren moved in and caught the super kick right to the jaw, clearly hurting as she stumbled back on limp legs before falling down flat on her back. Lauren weakly kicked the mat as her soft thighs quaked with each kick and she groaned, cradling her head in her arms. She was down and out as Peggy leaned in extending her arm.

"Lauren stop letting this bimbo make us look like hapless idiots! Tag me in!" Peggy shouted as Lauren began to roll and crawl towards her corner, hoping to take her younger partner back into the match. So far Lauren and Peggy had looked like idiots getting countered by some newbie while the more experienced wrestlers landed one whole knee strike to the abdomen.

Unsurprisingly, Shira decided against pressing her advantage after her superkick floored Lauren. "Nice moves!" In stark contrast to Peggy's incensed cries, Yoro merrily cheered her teammate. "You got this baybee!"
"Mmm..." Killswitch responded with a low hum and a nod. She was still in good shape but she felt fatigue settle into her body with every counter and reversal she pulled off. And to make matters worse, her opponent again tagged out for a more fresh opponent. Shaking her head to banish unwanted thoughts, she levelled her forearms and mentally prepared herself for her second dance with Peggy.
