Victory achieved by knockout only
Prism Girl entered this tournament not knowing how well things would turn out. She had a problem closing out normal matches let alone a match that ends in knockout. Prism Girl didn’t know who her opponent was this time but she had to make a statement to get noticed at LAW as someone that isn’t a jobber. Prism Girl would make her entrance in her usual magician’s attire and would come out to a lukewarm response. Anzu would enter the ring and would wait patiently for her opponent to make her entrance. Whoever she may be

Melody put on her regular entrance attire, getting ready for her 3rd attempt to take part in a tourney in LAW. This one was an interesting one, especially since it suit her abilities quite well. She had to KO her opponents, rather than pin them. And with her focus on strikes, she believed she had quite an advantage in this kind of the match.
The brackets weren’t made public to the competitors, so Melody wasn’t quite sure who she was facing. No matter, she thought, she would KO them all the same, and win this tournament!
2 minutes later, she entered the ring to her theme song, clapping hands with the people in the crowd before entering a ring…
...and recognising that her opponent was had quite a familiar face…
“A-Anzu?! L-long time no see…”, she would recognise the girl she beat previously, and the one who didn’t have such a great time getting a win on her record: “How are you doing?”

Anzu was pleasantly surprised when she saw that her opponent was none other than Melody. Anzu had wrestled her in the past, although it would be in a losing effort. Anzu had a chance to make an impact with a victory tonight. Plus, Anzu believed that if she was able to knock out an opponent for a ten count, fans would get off her back about not getting a three count out of people.
“Melody? I’m doing well. I could be doing better but let’s have a great match.”
Anzu said before she’d extend her hand out in a show of sportsmanship.

Without hesitation Melody grabbed Anzu’s hand, giving the girl a good handshake before releasing it.
“Same here, let’s have a great match. We need to KO each other to win this. No hard feelings after the bell rings, alright?”
With all the pre-match pleasantries done, Melody went towards her corner, doing a few stretches, but keeping her gaze on Anzu as she waited for the bell to ring…

“That goes both ways. Let’s try to have fun.”
Anzu said before the bell would ring to start the match. Prism Girl would get into a ready stance before she’d lock eyes with Melody. Both wrestlers were focused on advancing this tournament that was for sure. Anzu would try to start things off with a swift kick to the gut of her opponent to try and double her over. If that worked Anzu would try to hit a Rising Knee Strike to Melody’s head to get the match going in her favor if possible.

Even though Anzu wanted to have fun with the match, Melody wished that anyone but Anzu was her opponent now. KO only match meant Melody had zero restraints on herself, with the intention of knocking out her opponent. But she didn't want to do it to a girl as friendly as Anzu, much less handing her another loss in her (as of now) unsuccessful wrestling career.
As the bell rung, Melody slowly approach the middle of the ring to see what Anzu wanted to start of with. She quickly found that out by a harsh kick to her gut that she couldn't block quite in time, doubling over in pain as she held her hurt stomach…
Only for the Prism Girl to attempt to hit a harsh knee strike to the greenette’s head!
“AAAAAGH”, Melody screamed, as she staggered back to the ropes. Since this was KO only, she somewhat assumed the match was No DQ as well, and though it was unlikely for Melody or Anzu to bring weapons into the match, stuff like the ref allowing wrestlers a brief break at the ropes was out of the question. So Melody braced herself for another attack from the Prism Girl...

Anzu’s first couple of moves seemed to make a good first impression, but she had to keep up the pace or she’d end being knocked out tonight. Prism Girl saw Melody backpedal into the ropes, and would rush up to her to try to nail a Jumping Knee Strike to Melody’s jaw. If that worked Anzu would try to follow it up with a Bulldog. Anzu thought that if she kept on attacking the head she would eventually get the KO and advance.

Right as Melody thought she would get just a quick moment to recover, Anzu would come rushing towards her, landing a stiff knee to her jaw!
The greenette kept hold of the rope, dazed as a result of the stiff attack by Anzu. But the Prism Girl wasn't quite done with the greenette yet. She caught her head into a side headlock, preparing to drive Melody's head into the mat with a bulldog!
...or at least, that’s what Anzu planned would happen.
As the Prism Girl ran forward, and jumped to drive Melody’s head into the mat, her opponent would telegraph the attack. Keeping a hold of Anzu in the air, she would drop the Prism Girl right onto her knee butt first in an attempt to impact her tailbone with an atomic drop!!!
