Nikki Lane vs "Punie" Victoria: Submission and Endurance Match

Punie nods “I don’t know if you’d want to sit but it’ll be a grounded octopus stretch.” She told Nikki as she went to apply the hold on her.

"Of course. Whenever you're ready Punie," said Nikki as she sat down. She obviously wouldn't tell Punie this, but Nikki believed going for an octopus stretch was a mistake. It was a bit of a slow working hold, that stretched and stretched its victim until they couldn't stretch anymore.

But Nikki was a woman who could fucking stretch. Once Punie put her in the hold, Nikki felt her neck getting pulled down, and her back getting pulled away from it. But it really didn't bother her too much. Hell, it kind of felt like her back was getting straightened back out after the camel clutch. Nikki smiled internally. She had this.

Punie knows this will be tough but she knew ways to make it hurt like adding her elbow to Nikki’s sides to cause more pain.

Even if Nikki felt like she was in a good position. she knew that Punie was too good to just let her coast to the time limit. Made clear when Punie starting digging her elbow into Nikki's side, a simple but effective tactic of increasing the pain of an octopus hold. Punie's elbow was getting right into Nikki's ribs, and it was starting to get pretty uncomfortable.

"Ah!" Nikki let out a sharp moan as her body started to reflexively twist and squirm in Punie's grasp. It was still better than the camel clutch from the first round. But Nikki would still end up sore after this nonetheless.

The ref checked his watch, and about 45 seconds had passed. About a third of what Nikki needed.

Punie really has to put on the pressure. She did the elbow to the side but when that wasn’t enough she still had a free arm so she decided to show off the Victoria knowledge of submission holds by adding a claw to Nikki’s stomach.

The octopus stretch by itself still wasn't bothering Nikki too much, that hadn't changed. It was what Punie was pouring on top of it that was really making this a struggle for Nikki to deal with. First it was an elbow grinding down into her ribs, and now Punie was digging her fingernails into Nikki's stomach.

"Agh!" Nikki cried out as Punie's punishment came down more and more onto her midsection. But it still wasn't worse than the camel clutch Punie had put Nikki in during the last round, so Nikki knew she'd be able to last. Punie's only hope was to switch to a different hold that would somehow force a near immediate tap, or else Nikki would survive for sure.

The ref checked and they were 1:20 in. Over halfway to what Nikki needed.

Punie kept up the pressure Nikki had to crack at some point. She would persist as long as she needed too.

Nikki believed that she was going to endure, and it looked more and more like she would pull it off with each passing moment. Punie was out of arms to apply more pressure with, and Nikki knew she could take this for long enough to win the round. Punie had committed to her octopus stretch for the round, and it seemed like it would cost her.

Punie kept up the pressure as much pain as she could churn out. However nothing seemed to make Nikki tap in fact it was if the hold had no effect on her whatsoever. This frustrated Punie as if Nikki was mocking her skills with holds. She knew she wasn’t but it felt that way.

Nikki could tell how hard Punie was pushing to try to force her into submission. Her pain in her midsection made that perfectly clear. But Punie had simply chosen the wrong hold for her opponent and her situation. Stretch submissions like an octopus hold are what gymnasts like Nikki can endure the best, plain ad simple.

Nikki estimated that she had hit the time she needed to by now, but she decided to go for a little bit longer to be safe. She could take it, so there was no point in tapping now and risking not actually being at the time limit yet.

The ref was watching the timer as much as he was watching the wrestlers. it was at 2:15, and Nikki needed to beat 2:16. The round was all but decided.
