Meeting Trolls at Work

Unread post by The Riders »

"Another day, another dollar, another chance of me dealing with some dumb bitch backstage...' Aliyah marching around backstage angry and upset at what she was just told by Dan himself. She was told that her BG or Bodyguard would have to get a contract to be around her at all times, so due to a lot of re tape and paper work. Plus more brides and even some blackmail on some random guy in customs, her bodyguard will be reporting back to working in about two weeks or so depending on how fast the paperwork would be done. 'Damn it, Dan, you had one damn job, and now I have to make sure that nobody gets a chance at getting me backstage. And I will be fine to do whatever I want again soon..." she says before coming across a door to an office and, with a smirk, knowing that a certain someone who been writing about her works inside, so she decides to go in and mess stuff up because she can.

Looking around the office, Aliyah rips up reports, paperwork and any other things she can get her little fingers on. She even goes around and takes whatever money she can find lying around and takes that too since she can always use pocket change when throwing them at people, or if she decides to shop with the peasants and get something cheap depending on her mood. 'Man, this guy is cheap as hell, no wonder he can only bitch and complain about my good lucks and everything else.' she says before tossing his computer down to the floor. Seeing the mess she made, she wipes her hands and sighs before sliding out of the room and giggles in a cute way. "That will teach him to not write dumb stuff about me again.

As it turned out, Aliyah hadn't showed up a moment too soon. Just as she had left the office and set off down the hall, another set of footsteps touched down behind her.

Eiji Matsumoto was running late to the office. All thanks to getting stuck in traffic, his mood was already taking a downturn, and all he wanted was to get to his job at LAW Magazine at a reasonable time. But at long last, he had made it. He hurried up the stairs as fast as he could, turning the corner into the hallway to close in on the door to his office. Eiji let out a sigh of relief as he did - it had been a long and frustrating commute, but at long last, he was here. Everything would be worth it now.

Except it wasn't.

When Eiji opened the door to his office, he froze. Everything was a mess. The room was ransacked, papers were heaped on the floor in shreds, and his computer lay in a heap in the middle of it all. His teeth locked into a grimace, his body rigid as his fingers coiled tighter around the doorknob. Someone had done this - and someone was going to pay.

When he looked into the hallway, seeing the new announcer they'd hired - the same woman who, just a few weeks ago, had done the exact same thing before, then stolen the wheels from his car and forced him to get a ride home - everything made sense. Eiji knew how this had happened. But by no means was he placated by this knowledge.

"YOU!!!" he shouted, storming after the deparing Aliyah. "Think you have a good explanation for this!?"

Aliyah was minding her own business walking down the hallway. After ransacking the office room, she was busy checking her phone to make her make-up is still done nicely. But due to that she would hear a yelling and feet running after her much to her horror, as she turns around slowly and sees and hears Eiji racing after her in a full sprint.

"Nope Nope Nope' she screams out and in an amazing feat she takes off down the hallway running in high heels. Racing down the corridor trying to get away from the older man chasing her, while looking for Thereisa locker room since she knows that one of them are in there at this time to protect her. While mentally kicking herself since she doesn't have a bodyguard to keep her safe due to Dan screwing her over for once.

As she turns the corner to take a breather since she is not used to running... she would have someone carry her to safety but now she stuck and hiding from a evil cranky old man who looking for her. 'As soon as I get away I'm doing a few calls to my two girls since their both wrestlers should be able to get both of them in the company as my guards... Just gotta keep quiet..'

Eiji had been dealing with Aliyah's meddling long enough, and this was the last straw. Up until this point, she'd made her moves from afar, never making the announcement of what she'd done until it was already too late for the reporter to do anything about it. This time, though, he'd caught her in the act, and there would be no running away. He didn't know exactly what he'd do to her, but something had to be done!

Before Eiji could get any answers, though, Aliyah took off running. "GET BACK HERE, YOU-!!" he screamed after her, chasing her down the halls as fast as his legs could carry him. All the same, Aliyah always managed to stay a safe distance ahead. How was that even possible, Eiji thought to himself? The bitch was wearing high heels! He'd be impressed, if he wasn't so determined to wring her throat!

Either way, Aliyah proved surprisingly quick, and Eiji's stamina wasn't what it used to be. As time went on, he began to huff and puff, doubling forward and bracing himself against the wall with one hand to support his weight, but even as he stumbled and his legs grew sore beneath him, he kept on going. He would be damned if he left Aliyah with the satisfaction of knowing she'd gotten away from hm!

That was, until she disappeared around the corner. Running past where she was hiding, Eiji skidded to a stop, grumbling under his breath as he glanced back and forth. "Goddammit...where is she now-?!" he hissed in between pants.

Aliyah covers her mouth so that she doesn't make a sound. She can feel her heart beating wildly in her chest as Eiji ran right past her hiding spot, waiting and hoping some distance is between them so that can finally move and get away. All she needs to do is just make it to Cyber Legacy locker rooms that all she has to do, but she doesn't even know where it is since the lockers are on the other side of the arena and the way Eiji is looking for her that is going to be very hard to do unless she can be sneaky or just run and hide.

Pulling out her new Galaxy Z Flip3 5G phone, she starts to quickly write a text message to Ana cellphone. Since the woman is always on her phone checking her merch sales and fan numbers daily, Aliyah knows she is able to get in touch with her pretty quickly as she sends the message and waits for the reply. Taking a peek around the corner looking to see if the coast is still clear before a Bing like sound goes off as a reply comes through from Ana who typed 'Go down the hall way past catering and make two left turns before taking a right past the SWAT Kats locker room and our lockers are down the hall on your left XD." a small frown appears on her face since she told Ana to come and get her, but now she has to do it herself.

'Fine, I got this... I played enough Alien Isolation to know what to do when being chased by an old has been.' as she sneaks away from her hiding spot and starts to walk down the hallway. Even pulling out her bottle of prepper spray to use if needed.

Eiji might have been a hothead - and Aliyah may have been very good at getting on his nerves - but he was still getting up there in years, and compared to a fit young woman he simply couldn't keep up. Soon enough he was forced to lean against the wall, panting for breath and trying to collect himself. All the while, he cursed under his breath. The last thing he wanted was to let this bitch get away with what she'd done; even if Dan was too stupid to do anything about her, Eiji would still take matters into his own hands if he had to! But for now, he had lost track of Aliyah, and she was able to slip away; the reporter didn't even notice she was creeping around the corner just behind his back.

Eiji, however, wasn't the only one working in the LAW offices. Just as Aliyah was working her way down the hallway, a door opened at her side - and out walked Misa Otomura, her fellow ring announcer. Noticing she wasn't alone, Misa suddenly skidded to a stop, then turned around on her heel to face Aliyah as her eyes went wide and her lips pursed in a confused stare. She certainly didn't expect to run into Aliyah here, and she had several questions about the pepper spray in her hand that she decided weren't worth asking right now.

"Erm...can I help you, miss..?"

Letting out a small squeak of surprise due to the door on her side opening and a woman walking out. Aliyah would cover her mouth to prevent any more noise from coming out of her mouth, her eyes wildly looking around, hoping that she didn't give herself away after being jumped scared by this random woman standing in front of her with a confused look on her face. Reaching forward, Aliyah places her hand on the woman mouth to keep her quiet and pushes both of them inside the room and quickly shuts it, taking a deep breath to calm her beating heart down before giving the woman a side glance.

'Shhh gees woman gave me a heart attack or something.' she says placing her hand on her chest. 'So who are you, by the way? Never seen you around here and keep quiet, I'm being chased by someone and I have the right to defend myself.' Aliyah says before pressing her ear against the door hoping to hear anything or not. Hoping that Eiji has gone another way or is heading the way where she is at. Mumbling to herself, 'Damn Ana not getting off her lazy butt to come and get me... Got me hiding from a cranky old man.

At the sight of Aliyah's reaction, Misa took a pause, tilting her head to the side and looking back at her coworked with confusion. She didn't know why Aliyah was here, or why she seemed to be in such a hurry - or, for that matter, why she seemed so afraid to see her now. "I'm sorry-?" she began, before she was quickly silenced as Aliyah clasped a hand over her mouth, muffling her voice behind her palm.

She was dragged along as Aliyah pushed the two of them into a room, only letting go to shut the door behind them. Misa stopped, panting to try and catch her breath. Evidently, she had wandered into the middle of something that wasn't her business, but that had dragged her along for the ride regardless.

"I'm...Misa Otomura," she explained. "I'm a ring announcer here, and-" But when Aliyah reminded her that she was being chased, she fell silent, only nodding her head to show her understanding. She was still confused, though. What reason would she have to be running from someone?

It wasn't until Misa caught a half-mumbled aside that she began to realize what was going on. She leaned in closer, squinting to get a better look at the woman in front of her. Just then, she recognized her - and everything suddenly fell into place.

"Wait," Misa said, drawing back from Aliyah with wide eyes. "Aren't you that girl who's been antagonizing Matsumoto-san?" While she couldn't say she condoned Eiji's actions, suddenly they made a lot more sense.

Aliyah can keep listening, hope that being inside here with whoever would work. She would rather be anywhere else beside being stuck in a room with another ring announcer, and one who does know the person who is hunting her like a chubby person wanting free cake at a bakery. Letting out a very loud huff and sigh at being asked a question by Misa.

Turning to face the woman she crosses her arms 'Look that old man starting this whole issue, I just happen to the one person who don't take his shit. That the entire reason why all this is going on, he should have kept his mouth closed, and now he wants to run around like he's a victim in all of this.' Aliyah rants to the other woman telling her side of the issue when it was really her who started all the drama between herself and Eiji.

Peeking her head out of the room, before stepping out and even holding onto Misa hand before starting to backtrack her steps to find the correct hallway to reach the locker room area again. 'So you're coming with me alright keep quiet, and you can meet my stable that I lead alright... just for the lord of all that is HOLY you keep quiet…' she says walking down the hall, her head moving from side to side to make sure she won't get caught.

As soon as Misa had brought up Eiji, she knew that she'd opened a can of worms. She took in a gulp, and the color began to drain from her face. She could already surmise that things were personal between him and Aliyah from what she'd seen of the interactions between the two online, and it wasn't a stretch to assume he would be a sore spot with her. She also had come to know that Aliyah was not someone who messed around when she wanted to send a message. All that was going through her mind now was that she had put herself in the line of fire.

"Ah, um..." Misa began to stammer to herself, backing up toward the wall. She wracked her brain to think of the most diplomatic way to voice her thoughts, hopefully in a way that wouldn't get her killed. "Listen, I know that he can be...well, difficult to work with at times. But he still works here just as much as everyone, and-wait, where are you taking me?!"

Before Misa knew it, Aliyah had taken her by the hand to lead her out of the room. The ring announcer stumbled after her in an attempt to keep up, unsure of where she was going or what was in store for her. Things only got worse when Aliyah brought up a stable - and, given how the girl had addressed her thus far, Misa could only imagine that she wasn't just going to introduce them for autographs and meet-and-greets.

Misa fell silent, curtly nodding her head. "O-Okay...lead the way, then..." While she had her reservations, she knew the alternative would be far worse for her.
