A Starstruck Debut!: Shiori Takeda (D) vs Chiaki Nanami

Chiaki pulled back on Shiori's leg as she thrashed, fought, and crawled her way to the ropes. Chiaki would of course release Shiori once she got there. "I'm glad you like it. And you even got your wish too, now that I'm off you." Chiaki said as she let Shiori get up and get her distance, curious to see what she would do next.

When Shiori mimicked the old Sega consoles with her hands as she asked Chiaki about the name of her new hold, Chiaki started laughing. She had been chuckling pretty freely throughout the match so far, but now she was really laughing. ""Hahaha! You're pretty funny, you know that Shiori? You'd be a good co-host on one of my streams, I think."

Once Chiaki was done laughing and realized what Shiori was going for, she obliged, and locked up with Shiori for a test of strength. Assuming Shiori wasn't planning some kind of trick, the two would prove to be pretty even. Chiaki strength stat was below average, but Shiori wasn't strong enough herself to take advantage.

Chiaki's strategy coming into this was to let Shiori make the mistakes, so she would leave it to the rookie to do something to break the stalemate they were in, be it good or bad.

"Whoa, you really mean it?!?" Shiori's astounded voice rang out across the ring as soon as Chiaki offered to stream with her. She'd watched Chiaki's channel a few times before, but even if she wasn't necessarily her favorite streamer, just sharing the screen with a LAW wrestler would be a dream come true!

…Come to think of it, wasn't that exactly what she was doing right now? She closed her eyes and held up one finger in each hand, as if to tell herself to wait. "Okay, wait. Talk later, Takeda." Then turned those fingers towards Chiaki. "I really appreciate the offer, but we should finish up here first." And finally, back to outstretched hands for their test of strength.

When they locked up, Shiori was surprised that she was ever so slightly stronger than her opponent. Likely due to her being slightly larger and having a bit more muscular endurance. Even so, especially with Chiaki's experience, whatever strength advantage she had wasn't enough to win this test of strength.

So she opted for a different strategy, one of many mix-ups she'd committed to memory. Stepping quickly beside her opponent, she attempted to pull her arm away from Chiaki and wrap it around her neck for a headlock!

"Sorry Chiaki, this might hurt!" If she managed to lock that in, then she'd place a foot in front of one of Chiaki's and let herself fall forward -- using their combined weight to drive the Gamer Girl into the mat head-first!

"Sure thing Shiori. Besides, I don't think we could stream in the middle of a match if we wanted to." Chiaki said with a chuckle.
Watching and wrestling someone who at this point in her career was a fan from the crowd they let into the ring to fight was a rather unique but fun experience. And Chiaki was glad that she could make the experience just as fun for Shiori.

But Chiaki still had a fight to win, and soon the two girls were locked up with each other. Chiaki had a minor strength disadvantage, but it wasn't enough for Shiori to be able to overpower Chiaki. Especially since Chiaki had the in ring experience and knowledge that someone simply couldn't get from just watching.

As Chiaki had planned, Shiori was the one to attempt to break the stalemate. She moved to Chiaki's side and released one of her arms from the test of strength, which she then tried to used to get Chiaki into a headlock. But Chiaki now also had a free arm to work with, and she shot it out up under Shiori's chin to push her away and stop her from getting in close enough for her headlock.

With Shiori's attack rebuffed, Chiaki pulled her arm back in, leaving the two barely beyond arm's reach of each other. Chiaki made a read that Shiori would try to immediately continue attacking. So she would try to bait Shiori with a head fake towards her before jumping back, looking to make Shiori whiff an attack aimed at where she was instead of where she would be, and punish with a kick aimed at Shiori's ribs.

Shiori knew how to survive a test of strength. The steps to securing a headlock. How best to use her weight to bring an opponent down. But she knew all those things through observation, through hundreds of hours of watching film, but without a second minute of practicing what she'd seen. Wrestling a live opponent in a ring wasn't the same thing as wrestling air in her apartment, and even then, Shiori ended up on the ground more often than not while going through the motions.

So when Chiaki pushed her way out of the hold with nothing but a press on the chin, Shiori was only a little surprised. She sighed to herself with a pout, taking a quick step back away from her opponent. "Aw, couldn't you just let me -- whoa!" Suddenly, Chiaki shot back in to close the distance, and once again, Shiori's fangirlish instincts kicked in. Her arms swung out, hoping to catch the Gamer Girl in her tracks and set her up for another throw attempt. This time, it was gonna work for sure!

But once again, it wasn't to be, as Chiaki's move was just a feint. Just as fast as she approached, she withdrew once again, this time swinging a kick into the side of her body! The blow wasn't terribly strong or painful, but it did rattle Shiori a bit. All she could do was try to wrap her arms around Chiaki's thigh or ankle, preventing her from bringing it back down.

Chiaki dodged Shiori's headlock attempt, ducking in and out of range to get in the exact position she wanted. Her bait worked as planned, as before you knew it, Chiaki's shin connected with Shiori's ribcage, scoring a clean hit. But then Chiaki's power problem came back to bite her. She didn't really have the strength needed to back up her strikes, so Shiori was able to recover quickly and grab Chiaki's leg.

"I need to lift more," Chiaki pouted. Now Shiori had a hold of Chiaki's leg, and the gamer girl had to figure out what to do. Chiaki tried to simply pull her leg free, but Shiori had a good enough grip to keep hold of it. In fact, Chiaki nearly lost her own balance, barely keeping herself from ending up on the floor with her leg in her opponent's grasp.

What Chiaki tried next would be a bit riskier. She would jump up with her free leg and try to dropkick Shiori in the stomach to make her let go and fall back. If it worked, Chiaki would be able to get up and the match would reset to neutral. But if Shiori was able to somehow block or dodge, then Chiaki would be stuck on the ground with her leg already under Shiori's control.

Shiori's reflexive grab actually put her in a pretty solid position. So solid, in fact, that Chiaki figured that her best out was to jump up and fire off a light single-legged kick. Of course, Shiori, who could count the number of times she'd been hit before today on one hand, still recoiled a bit at the blow. Luckily, that same flinching motion tightened her grip on Chiaki's ankle, leaving her opponent with nothing much to do other than fall onto her back. Similarly, the blow just glanced off her wrist and stung a bit. Still, Shiori found herself at a bit of a loss when it came to making the most of her strong position. She could always go for a crab or cloverleaf, but she didn't want it to look as if she was copying Chiaki.

"Oh!" chirped Shiori. "That's a great idea! My friend Julie says that I should do more squats too." She pivoted around Chiaki, her leg still in tow, until she was standing right above the Gamer Girl's head. A light blush dusted her face as she realized that Chiaki could probably see her blue-and-white striped panties right about now. But she'd kinda wanted to do this for a while now, so...

"Uh, and not just for stronger kicks, either...!" Slowly but surely, she started to kneel down onto Chiaki and the mat alike, still holding onto her opponent's leg. The crowd hooted and hollered as it became clear that the Fangirl was going for a classic facesit smother! If Chiaki made no move to resist, it wouldn't be long until she was hidden underneath Shiori's skirt -- and buried between her panty-covered cheeks!

Chiaki jumping and fired her kick at Shiori, but it ended up backfiring on her quite badly. Shiori's reflex reaction allowed her block the kick with her wrist and keep her grip on Chiaki's leg, leaving her to fall to the floor in a very vulnerable position for Shiori to exploit. A position of control was where a wrestler like Shiori was most dangerous. This was where all that knowledge would come in most.

Chiaki was confused as Shiori appeared to praise her own idea out loud, "Squats? Oh no..." Chiaki said once the sight of Shiori's panties clued her in on what the fangirl had meant. But for some reason Shiori was coming down quite slowly onto Chiaki, giving her an opportunity to defend against the facesit.

Chiaki reached her hands up underneath Shiori's skirt and starting pushing up against her butt. Getting two nice handfuls of her soft cheeks as she did so. But once again Chiaki's weakness would get her into trouble. With the heavier Shiori coming down onto Chiaki beneath her with her full weight, the gamer girl's arms began to weaken and shake, and then they failed and were pushed aside, leaving Chiaki defenseless from getting a face full of Shiori's derrière.

"MMPH!" Chiaki gave a muffled shout from beneath Shiori. The rookie had taken a position of dominance over her, smothering the gamer with her butt and holding one of Chiaki's legs in her grasp. Chiaki grabbed at Shiori's butt and thighs to try and push her off, but it was to no avail. For the time being Chiaki was trapped in Shiori's soft, round prison.

As she brought herself down onto Chiaki, Shiori realized that she probably could have done a butt drop. That might have been faster and more impactful... but she was already here. Besides, her weight seemed to be a problem for Chiaki, who was slowly ceding ground to her skirt- and panty-covered butt. Which, now that she thought of it, was a really weird sentence to say. Or think.

Even so, it wasn't long until she was fully seated atop the Gamer Girl. When the crowd roared their assent at watching an innocent-looking schoolgirl sit atop one of their more recently-popular jobbers, Shiori blanched a bit. Suddenly self-conscious despite Chiaki's earlier assurances, she fidgeted atop her opponent. Unintentionally creating quite the scene for the crowd, who only cheered louder. They probably couldn't even see Chiaki's face, but just like partial nudity was often more tempting than full nudity, it seemed that just the knowledge that she was getting smothered under Shiori's blue skirt was really riling them up.

"Uhhh... Y'know, you should probably, like, bridge out or something so you don't get hit with a three-count." Shiori nervously eyed the referee. For obvious reasons, a promotion like LAW didn't often count smothers for a pinfall unless someone explicitly asked. And it seemed like tonight's match official was the same way; she cocked an eyebrow at Shiori, raising the question wordlessly. For her own part, the rookie didn't even know what to do in this situation. At the same time, the smother felt so weirdly good, and wrestling was so much fun, and-

She didn't know. And maybe that indecisiveness would give Chiaki a chance to come back, but the analysis paralysis was just too strong!

Through an unfortunate series of events, Chiaki now found herself on the receiving end of Shiori's facesit smother. And even though her face was beneath the rookie's butt, she could still hear just fine, and what she heard was the crowd growing louder and louder in response to what they were seeing. She felt Shiori's butt moving on her face, but it didn't feel like she was actively rubbing it down on her for some reason.

Then Chiaki heard Shiori say that the gamer should probably bridge out of the smother. Which would have made Chiaki respond in confusion if she could talk. Because one, her shoulders weren't even down, as should be clear by Chiaki's grabbing at Shiori to try and force her off. And two, even if she was pinned, a wrestler needed both legs to properly bridge, and Chiaki's left leg was currently being pointed at the sky in Shiori's grip.

You wouldn't think someone with as much knowledge as her would lapse like that, but I guess that goes to show what it means to actually be in the ring, Chiaki thought in place of saying. But even if she wasn't being threatened with immediate defeat, losing was still a very real possibility for Chiaki in her position. She was trapped beneath Shiori's suffocating, soft, pillowy, nice...

SNAP OUT OF IT Chiaki yelled at herself. LAW is gonna make me bi, I think. But escape first, sexuality later, Chiaki thought as she wrapped her arms around Shiori's waist, taking a more thought out approach instead of just pushing against her opponent's body. Chiaki would then plant her free leg down on the mat and push off with it for extra power as she tried to through Shiori backwards and off of her face.

Shiori was still in the middle of deciding what to do about Chiaki when she felt her pawing all across her lower body. The increasingly desperate pushing against whatever the Gamer Girl could get her hands on reminded Shiori that her opponent was, in fact, not pinned. And even if she was, then bridging with one leg would do nothing to dislodge Shiori, only ending the pin count at the cost of tiring out Chiaki's own core.

Which, of course, explained why the referee looked so confused at her words. Most people might have been able to sheepishly shrug it off as a rookie mistake, getting lost in the heat of the moment, but not Shiori. Not WithMyKeysITheePen, one of the most prolific wrestling otakus and fanfiction writers on the Internet. It was actually pretty obvious when she thought about it, and just the thought of forgetting one of the most basic concepts of pro wrestling -- on live and international television, no less -- was even more embarrassing than the fact that she was literally smothering another woman out right now. She was so gonna lose some nerd cred for this. All she could do was pray to Dan that the mics hadn't picked that up.

"Uwaah!"

Fortunately, Shiori didn't have to wallow in her shame for her long. Unfortunately, that relief came in the form of two arms wrapped around her waist. Two arms that would then throw her backwards, empowered by the force of Chiaki kicking off the mat before them!

This time, though, she was a bit more prepared to come crashing to the mat. As her back touched the canvas, she prepared to to rise to her knees and, if allowed, a standing position. The next few seconds, however, would tell just how successful she was at gathering her bearings before her opponent.

"Ugh... Are you sure you don't just wanna lay down for a little longer?"
