The Smother Gauntlet

"...And what about Karen, I totally look up to her and all, but I don't think she likes me, I'm not really sure what I did though... Sky could be fun, but I'm not sure she would really let me smother her out-cold...!" Gil laughed to herself. "Oh, maybe-" Gil's ramblings would be cut short, with a terrible pain coursing through her body as her legs pulled in close to her body and her hands moves to cover her crotch, she balled up in pain, freeing Lu from her smother.

The low-blow was a devastating move to suffer, it didn't cause any issues later in the match, but it was a good move to quickly immobilize someone, and set them up for something that could play a role later in the match...! "...Ow..." Gil fought back tears as she slowly recovered, but for now she was completely defenseless.

"It's alright, Lu... I understand, but I'm not done... I have a whole gauntlet ahead of me, and you won't be the one to do me in...!" Gil smirked, getting up to her knees, still nursing the low-blow she was delivered!

"Maybe..." Lu couldn't help smiling back, touched by Gil's sincerity and lack of ill will regarding the low-blow. "But I have my entire career ahead of me. And I can't let you ruin that." Lucy approached her kneeling opponent and wrapped her arms around Gil's for a front facelock. Lu then pulled the brunette to her feet before executing a swinging neckbreaker; the bluenette grabbed Gil's hand and then spun around violently and brought them both down to the mat.

Should Lu's neckbreaker succeeded, she would scramble onto her feet before she poised her elbow and jumped upwards. She attempted an elbow drop targeting Gil's stomach in an effort to wind her. And for good measure, Lu immediately followed up by leaping into the air for another elbow drop to her foe's belly.

Gil was lifted up onto her feet, things tucked up underneath Lu's arm before being swung down fast and hard onto the mat. She laid still for a moment, taking things in, but there wasn't time to sit and think things over, Lu crashed down again, slamming her elbow into Gil's stomach, causing her to curl into a ball and turn onto her side.

This couldn't be right, this isn't how this was supposed to go, she was here to prove herself, not so Lu could show the world what she was made of... Taking this much of a beating this early? How was she ever going to hold her own against some of the later foes? Was she going to see any later foes? Or was Lu destined to take her out early...?

Gil laid still for a few short moments, before eventually turning up onto her knees, slowly rising up. "...I'm not here to kick-start my career, or anything like that, I'm not here for a career at all..." Gil finally got up onto her feet, looking up at Lu with a grin plastered on her face. "...I'm just here to kick some butt, with my butt...! And unfortunately for you, Lu, you're the first target...!" Gil shook off any discomfort, or just ignored it, as she began to charge right at Lu, going for a classic, yet deadly, hip-check, right to the gut...!

Lu didn't know why exactly but she decided against pressing her advantage and instead waited for her opponent to recuperate. Probably to atone for the low blow she figured. She furrowed her brows and pouted slightly when Gil made her declaration. Regardless, Lucy responded with only silence. Then both wrestlers charged one another at the same time.

However, Lu misread her foe's intentions and went to grapple. "Gak!" Her mistake resulted in her recieving a hip-check to the abdomen, sending her stumbling backwards a couple feet. Although caught off-guard, she remained in good shape and went back on the attack. She leapt forwards and threw her fist with all her might, aiming to deck Gil in the face with a superman punch.

As the first round carried on, it was clear neither Gil, nor Lu, were willing to give in. Both were adamant about proving themselves, only difference, was Lu was playing the role of the spoiler...! It wasn't the best start Gil could have imagined, but rebounding was part of getting better, so she had to brush herself off and push forward, after all, she knew this whole thing wouldn't go off without a hitch...!

Gil landed a fierce hip-check to Lu, she expected it to send the girl flying, but Lu held her own, and came flying back in with a nasty-punch! Gil ducked down just in the nick-of-time, narrowly dodging a bloody nose! Gil, still squatting-low in-front of Lu, hugged her opponent's legs tight and leaned into her, driving her backwards into the mat!

"You can give it your all, try your best, do anything, but I'm not losing when this is just getting started...!" Gil shot up to her feet quickly, running a small loop to give herself a running start before she leapt high up in the air, tucking her knees to her chest as she aimed to land her ass right on Lu's face, looking to finish things with a Dew Drop...!

Lu let out a shallow gasp when she felt her punch hit nothing but air. Before she could even fully register her failure, she was tackled out of the air. "Grk!" She landed with a dull thud, her head cracking against the canvas on impact. Stunned, she screwed her eyes shut and caressed the back of her head. Hearing ominous, fast-paced footsteps racing across the floor, she opened her eyes at just the right moment to witness Gil's rapidly plummeting backside.

"Grmphhh!.." The misleadingly innocently named 'Dew Drop' rattled Lucy's entire body, her arms and lower body jolting upwards before lifelessly flopping to the ground. "Nhhh..." She groaned weakly, apparently overwhelmed by the sudden reversal of fortune. However, a couple seconds of breathing in her opponent's butt roused desperate urgency in her mind. She started to buck and kick wildly. And more importantly, one of her hands balled up into a fist, poised to perform the same ignominious move that saved her before.

Gil stuck the landing just about as flawlessly as one could, crashing all of her weight dead-center on Lu's face...! Her weight smashing her foe against the mat and pinning her to it, no matter how much the rest of her body slung it-self around, Gil remained seated without even so much as budging...! She wiggled, only driving herself further down and making herself comfortable.

"...Oh no you don't...!" Gil smacked, Lu's hand out of the air, catching her by the wrist and pinning it, along with her other arm, down to the mat, leaving her in a position where she could barely find her way out...! "...You won't be pulling the same thing over on me twice, so don't get any ideas...!"

No matter what resistance Lu put fourth, Gil was like a statue, un-moving, ready to put this round to bed, and along with it, Lu herself...! "...It's a nice last view, I'm sure...!" She teased with a smirk, sighing out in relief. "...Please, don't let this discourage you, you have exactly what it takes to kill it in L.A.W, but tonight, I have to do everything I can to stay standing, so unfortunately, you're either going to have to tap-out, or take a nap...!"

"Grmph!.. Grhmphmp!.." Lu bellowed furiously into her opponent's rear when she felt her arms being held down to the ground. Her already wild struggles grew even more frantic, driven by sheer desperation. She dragged her heels all over the canvas as she thrashed her legs about randomly. Every now and then, she planted both feet down and tried to buck Gil off. Of course, Lucy utterly failed to make any sort of leverage during all of this. All she achieved was tire herself out.

Slowly but surely, her rabid resistance drew to a stop. Her legs slackened, leaving her lower body to slump lazily onto the canvas. And even then, she still persisted in futility; her feet feebly moved around. The only notable amount of movement coming from Lu was her chest rapidly expanding and contracting in a vain attempt to get some much needed air into her deprived lungs. "Grhhh..." And with a final defeated sigh, her entire body went limp as she passed out beneath Gil.

It was perfect, it was all too perfect, well, the finish was, at least...! The round could have been played better by Gil, but she was happy to come out on-top, at the very least...! Lu wasn't a joke, not to Gil at-least, she knew anyone had a shot, and Lu showed her that, but even still Gil came away with what she intended to, a KO to keep her gunalent moving forward...!

She sat for a few more seconds after Lu was knocked-out, just to be sure, and only when she was complelty convinced it wasn't a trick, would she lift her ass off of her opponets face, looking down at her with a kind-smile, wishing her the best, even if she couldn't hear it. "...Keep on giving it your all, Lu, you'll kick plenty of ass if you keep it up...!" The ring-side crew helped Lu out of the ring, making their way backstage with her so the gunalent could carry on...!

"...Alright, you got this Gil, you got this...!" She syked herself up, before shouting out...! "...Whoever is next, come on out, I'll smother you out in seconds flat...!" She grinned, and the crowd roared in aproval, even though, they had no clue who was next up, whoever it was, would be looking to play early-spoiler, just like Lu had, and maybe, they would have a bit more luck than she did...!

Fenrir would watch the whole event happening from his dressing room, noticing how Gil managed to successfully and excitingly overcome his first opponent, Fenrir knew it was time to see his old friend in action, so while he was putting on his gear, Valentine would come in, looking at her and with a smile giving her a small bottle.
Well Fenrir, this will be easy, if you manage to dominate her and give her a drink from that bottle, this fight will be a piece of cake and I will be able to ----.
Fenrir would place a finger in valentine's mouth, stopping her from saying anything.
No Val.... I appreciate you having fun like that, but not with Gil.... she doesn't deserve any Handicap, look.... don't do anything to her while I'm here, this is my fight, I don't care if I lose, I want to have fun and know if my first friend is as strong as I thought.

so then Fenrir would leave Valentine in the dressing room, while walking towards the Arena, Fenrir would remember her first fight, being against Gil and how she had ended up with the finished body, Fenrir would then listen to her theme, waiting a few seconds and finally appearing, greeting everyone still with her patch on, even though she was clinically healthy, looking at Gil and telling him
