Return to Action: Raquel Masters vs Tia Langray

[The Riders]

Slowly raising to her feet slowly, Tia was in a daze after taking that big move and still being able to kick out of it by the skin of her teeth. Her back is turned, so she doesn't know what her opponent has planned until it is too late, turning around and taking a missile drop-kick to the chest that sends her flying across the ring to the other side in a heap. On her back, eagle spread as the crowd can sense that the match is coming to an end.

Raquel manages to land the springboard dropkick and knows she has to move fast, doing her best to fight through her pain. Raquel stands and makes her way to the corner, jumping from the canvas up to a perched position up onto the top, holding her arms out and looking behind her to make sure Tia is in position in the ring. Raquel lets out a shout as she leaps back, performing a top rope 450 splash, crashing down on top of Tia and immediately going for a pin after her landing! Raquel winces from the pain she feels but knows it is far worse for Tia!

Tia was almost done at this point. As she just feels the impact of Raquel body slamming into her stomach off the top ropes. As she is not even given the chance to recover as her opponent went for the pin fall quickly, as her leg is hooked and the ref was already in position to start counting. Knowing that she is done as she is unable to kick out as the ref calls out.

Raquel heard the bell and stood up, stumbling a bit and holding one hand up in the air while her other was cradling her abdomen for a moment. She took a few deep breaths and strut around the ring, swaying her hips and smiling to the crowd, waving and even blowing a few kisses. "Damn tough old vet.... she almost had me but the little flying firecracker did it huh?" Raquel called out to the crowd.

She looked over at Tia who may have been overconfident against Raquel giving her a nod. "You are a crafty one ya know that?" Raquel said as she leaned against the ropes, still breathing heavily. She had to dig deep and gun it, going all out and burning herself out. It was all catching up to her as she dropped and rolled underneath the ropes, starting her hobbling walk up the ramp but managing to stand as tall as she could feeling good about her victory.
