A Rookies Resolve: Tara Jaeger vs Ai Sakurai

[Bare]

Tara groaned and did her best to handle the pain caused by the boston crab but even she had to admit the damn hold was brutal and Ai was no slouch either in securing it. Thankfully however it wasn't long till she reached the bottom rope and in turn received some relief by forcing her opponent to abandon the hold. Wincing softly as she stood up Tara would rub her leg softly to ease some of the soreness now permeating there.

Looking up at Ai there was a new intense look in Tara's eyes, the previous playfulness now gone. "Alright.. no more mr nice chick!" Tara would snap out as she charged forward, trying to build up as much speed as she could as she rushed at her opponent before throwing her leg up high in an attempt to land a pump kick to Ai's face!

Ai raised an eyebrow when she heard Tara's comment. As if she had ever been nice. Ai thought. But Tara was already sprinting towards her at a speed Ai hadn't anticipated. Seeing Tara throwing her leg up Ai raised her arms, trying to block the kick, but even with her arms in front of her the power of the kick knocked her head back leaving her dazed. She stumbled backwards shaking her head, shocked by the power of Tara's kick.

As Tara leapt up she knew this was a bit of a gambit. After all if she missed than its likely she would have been vulnerable to a counter from her opponent which could lead her right back to the position she was in before. Thankfully however her kick connected, and while it didn't knock Ai down it did seem to rock her.

Smirking as she saw this Tara would swing her leg up looking to land a kick to Ai's leg, if it connected she would follow with another kick with her other leg to the girl's side. If that connected than Tara would aim to finish her combo by leaping up and turning midair as she swung her leg back around for a kick aimed at Ai's face for a jumping spinning back kick!

Ai was dazed by Tara's vicious first kick and when she saw the smile on her opponent she guessed more kicks were coming her way... and she was right. Tara unleashed a barrage of blows with impressive speed and precision. Ai for her part kept her arms up to cover her head, worried the most at getting hit there, which left the rest of her body to take the punishment.

The kick to her side made Ai groan, and the kicks to her legs left her trembling as the pain numbed her limbs, but it was the final kick what took her down. Even with her arms up to block some of the power, Tara's last kick came with such speed and fury that Ai was knocked down to the floor cleanly, her hurting legs going up in the air before they fell down. Her arms also numb and sore after taking most of that impact, Ai lay on the mats disoriented, panting and badly hurt.

Despite her specialty being in submissions and especially targeting the stomach of her opponents, Tara's kicks were nothing to underestimate. After all in terms of strikes they were her main form of attacking and for good reason. They were muscular and rippling with power not to mention the skill and precision she struck with owing to years of martial arts training.

So when she finished her combo and knocked Ai down to the mat in the process Tara was far from surprised. "Not bad huh?" Tara would ask sarcastically as she lifted her leg straight up into the air, holding it for a moment before swinging it down for a vicious axe kick aimed at the gut of her opponent!

It had been pretty bad for Ai, that had been on the receiving end of all those nasty kicks. Her arms and body hurt so much and Ai was left coughing a bit more saliva on the mats, desperately needing time to recover. But Tara was not going to give her any of it. Ai was rubbing her arms with her hands, trying to make the pain and numbness go away when she saw Tara coming over her and lifting her leg up.

Ai gasped and braced for the hit, unable to get her sore arms in time, her already devastated tummy took an even more brutal kick with no protection at all. "UUUUUUUUUUUUGHHH!" Ai groaned in pure agony, her eyes widening as Tara knocked a lot of air out of her hurting body.

Tara had firmly retaken control of the match up with the rookie. Good last thing she needed was to be fully manhandled for too long by a new girl. Luckily now she was in a position to make the most of her offense.... As well as make good on her nickname. Something she showed when her heel crashed hard into the gut of her downed opponent with a vicious axe kick!

Keeping her foot firmly planted on Ai's stomach Tara would look down and see how winded the girl was from the dark skinned woman's offense, prompting Tara to try for a... purely dominant show next. Lifting her leg again Tara merely shifted it up a bit before pressing her foot against Ai's chest, right between her breasts in face, going for a rather cocky pin attempt using just a foot on the chest alone to go for it!

Ai was left coughing, spitting some saliva too, after Tara sunk that foot deep into her tummy. For a few moments she was left helpless, trying to recover her air and her bearings. Luckily for Ai, Tara was more interested in showing up than finishing her. Tara's foot went from Ai's battered tummy to her chest as Tara struck a pose and tried for the dominant pin.

The referee got to the mats and started the count. ONE!

Ai decided to let the count continue for another second, and use that second to take a deep breathe.

TWO!

As soon as she heard the second number, Ai would burst into action, grabbing hold of Tara's foot as she kicked her legs up, wrapping them around Tara's leg to then pull down, trying to take Tara down to the mats... and immediately trying to put her opponent's foot under her armpit and twist it as Ai attempted to trap Tara with a heel hook hold.

Tara smirked as she posed for the fans with her arms in the air, proudly enjoying the dominance she was exerting over her smaller opponent. Foot pressed flush against her opponent's stomach Tara knew it was a cocky pin, but honestly given the damage she had dealt to the girl and her greater weight Tara actually felt it would be effective.

For a time it actually did look like it would. Tara managed to get a full two count and it seemed as if she would get the three count as well, but before she could get that sweet three count Ai managed to pull herself together and push up enough to get Tara's foot off of her!


"Whoa!" But that wasn't all Ai managed to do. Before Tara realized what was happening she found her foot grabbed and her balance taken out from under her as she was knocked to the floor by her opponent! "What the! NO AGHHH!" Before she could do anything Tara found herself trapped in a vicious heel hook!

AI didn't said a thing but she allowed herself a small smirk as she trapped Tara in the painful submission hold. She hugged Tara's leg close to her body showing no intention of letting her go and then started to apply pressure on the heel to make it hurt as much as possible. She tightened her legs around Tara's leg too, trying to isolate and immobilize that limb to make it harder to escape. Ai had seen girls tap out to this hold before but she wasn't sure how tough Tara would be. One way or another she tried to do as much damage as possible now that she could get some revenge in her cocky opponent.
