Return to Action: Raquel Masters vs Tia Langray

[The Riders]

Before the ref could count to three. Tia was able to get her foot on the bottom rope to break up the pin. Using the advantage of being close to the ropes to keep herself in the match when it seemed that Raquel had the match won. The crowd groans thinking that it was over with but then cheer knowing that the battle of wills will keep going between the two women. "Not done yet, young in... Going to really have to dig deep to put me away...'

Raquel thought she had it won standing up when she knew she had a three count... but the final count never came nor did the bell. She looked over and saw Tia's leg on the rope, shaking her head with her hands on her hips. "Damn it come on...." Raquel muttered to herself as she pulled Tia up to her feet. Raquel wanted to whip Tia to the ropes before running the other way. Raquel wanted to bounce off the ropes and leap at a running Tia to plant her hard with a shining wizard!

Tia chuckles, laughing, knowing that Raquel is almost at her wits end. Another lesson when it comes to being a champion, to always know where your opponent limbs are at all times, since this would happen if you're not mindful. As she feels herself being lifted to her feet again by the other woman before being whipped into the ropes and bouncing off them, heading right at Raquel again. But this time she is not able to stop or put her guard up taking a kick to the face, the impact sends her onto her back stunned and at the mercy of her opponent.

Raquel smashes Tia with a hard shining wizard sending her crashing down to the mat. Raquel gets up and stands over Tia quickly jumping up and flipping over as she tries to hit Tia with a standing moonsault before covering Tia for the pin! If this is successful Raquel reaches down to hook a leg while pressing her body down on top of Tia's shoulders to secure the pin.

The kick has Tia reeling as she is laying on the canvas. The next thing she knows is feeling Raquel crashing down onto her stomach by doing the moonsault which landed clean on her core. She groans as her opponent goes to cover her again for the win, but before the ref can get into position to begin the count, Tia forces her shoulder off the canvas, refusing to lose to the younger upstart.

Raquel was in total shock that Tia just kicked out before the referee even slid in to position! She shook her head and stood up stomping down on Tia trying to figure out what she had to do to keep her down! Raquel grabbed Tia by the arm, hitting two body punches before whipping Tia towards the ropes. Raquel would pause a second and run the other way as Tia bounced off the ropes looking to leap up onto the middle rope and springboard back with a missile dropkick aimed at Tia's chest!

Tia shakes her head at the face that her opponent is making, due to kicking out so quickly. But right now she is on her second wind and even that is starting to go due to her Raquel still having enough fight in her left. As she is lifted to her feet, she is stunned by taking two hard blows to her stomach before being tossed into the ring ropes, but she already has a plan to get her hands again on her opponent. She reaches out with her hands, grabbing both of Raquel's legs before they connect with her chest, before letting out a scream and rolling her opponent over onto her stomach for a Boston crab submission hold.

Raquel thought she was going to be landing a big blow against Tia but as she jumped Tia moved back and grabbed hold of Raquels legs transitioning the springboard dropkick into a Boston crab! Raquel grit her teeth crying out in pain as she was caught in a hold seemingly made famous by her hometown. The red head screamed and tried to widen her hands out on the mat, trying to use the lower body strength she had to straighten her legs and flip Tia over to escape the painful hold.

Tia let's out a loud grunt, yanking and pulling on the woman legs in the submission hold. But even she knows she's going to need to do a lot more than this to keep Raquel down since the young woman has been more than a match for her, and in her eyes Raquel is going to be a champion in the future, but she needs to earn that right against her right now. Deciding to switch it up again, Tia drops one of her opponent legs to transition into an STF hold by wrapping her arm around the young woman neck with her arm. "You got a long way to go to reach the ropes, Raquel... Let see if you can survive till then...'

"Stop talking and wrestle..." Raquel shot back, the confident woman on the back foot as her attempt to flip Tia over failed utterly. As Tia moved to wrap her head up Raquel shot her hands up off the mat to fall forward a tiny bit, tucking her head in and using her hands to grab at Tia's to try to make that painful hold a bit less painful. Raquel wasn't going for a rope break, she was going to escape on her own! She tries to grip Tia's hands and tense up her arms using her strength to try to pry Tia's hands off her and escape the hold that way.
