Re: A warriors fall (hospital thread for Aoi Open to all that wants to join)
Aoi would look down feeling pathetic as she couldn't help but think she wasn't good enough she wondered how she could come back from this how could she even face Rebecca. Seeing yuki try and yell at the widow Aoi saw it yukis words fell on deaf ears. she would sighed and looked at her casted leg. she didn't know what she was going to do.
She would look at yuki as she spoke how she is a great wrestler and that in a perfect world she would still be champion. she knew that was true. "your right in a perfect world i would still be champion but... its not a perfect world yuki.... yeah train when its going to take 6 months for my leg to heal and an other 4-6 months of Psyhical therapy...." she teared up. "this isn't a perfect world yuki.... as much as you and i hate it i lost to Rose gold. to her cheap tricks to her mind games.... I still cant get the thought of ending her career out of my head. " Aoi held her head. "this was my downfall i trained every day i knew i would lose my title one day to a better wrestler but rose didn't even show she was a better wrestler.... it sucks!" Aoi screamed " i wanted my title reign coming to and end to be a great fight like how i had with GASTER or how me and you fought giving our all in a fair fight." Aoi started weeping. " but i didn't even get that i lost and i dont even know if Rose gold had gave it her all." Aoi cried.

Re: A warriors fall (hospital thread for Aoi Open to all that wants to join)
"I..." Yuki was silent. She wanted to speak up, to reassure Aoi, and to tell her that everything would be fine. She wanted to believe that herself. She wanted to feel like everything was going to be all right - that Aoi would recover, get back in the ring stronger than ever, and reclaim her title from Rose Gold in a match that would silence the blonde once and for all. To avenge Yuki's own defeat, and to be strong and brave and stand up to her where Yuki herself couldn't. But she knew that was a lie.
She wanted to tell Rose that she could still have her great match to pass the title on to a worthy champion, and that no matter how long it took, it would all be worth it in the end. But when Yuki heard the words from Aoi herself, talking about all the obstacles she would face through the healing process that would keep her from getting back in the ring, the prospects that she'd see her return were growing fainter and fainter. Yuki didn't know how she'd respond to that. She wished she didn't have to. But Aoi, she knew, was right.
Yuki turned her head aside, sniffling. She stared down at the floor. Tears ran from her eyes down her cheeks, but she didn't want Aoi to see her crying - it would just remind her of her loss. "I'm...I'm sorry, Aoi" Yuki said softly. "I...should get going now. I don't want to be a problem..."

Aoi looked down she felt awful she didn't realize yuki wanted Aoi to get revenge for the lost but Aoi didn't know if she could beat Rose when she was 100% she hated to admit it but she was worried she would lose she was being a coward. Looking at Yuki Aoi could see some tears and she felt terrible she didn't know what to say. "yuki....whats the reason you want me to fight rose gold again?" she asked. "I know you suffered a lost by rose gold she pretended to be your friend and used that against you... it was different for me Rose humiliated and hurt someone special to me.... i let my rage consumed me i could have ran into the ring and attack stop rose form further hurting my friend.. but i didn't I held my self back believing my friend would be released. Until it was to late." Aoi said as she looked at yuki
"im not some kind of hero yuki i never once thought my self to be one I'm a warrior and i have a code of honor yes but even then if someone else is in trouble I...i might ignore it." Aoi said as she grabbed Yukis hand. "Only reason why i gave Rose that shot when she didn't deserve it was cause i was angry and i knew she wasn't going to stop unless i did so and at the same time i wanted so badly to hurt Rose not for everything she did to other but for hurting someone I cared about." Aoi stated
"and right now i dont think i can even face my friend any more since i let her down i let my rage take over and it ended up working against me. IF you want Rose to lose then you have to do it I know you have skill yuki you are not some rookie you are very good fighter I gave you a title shot because i knew you were deserving of it Yuki not cause i wnated to squash some rookie I know if you tried and gave everything you could have ended up the winner " Aoi said.

Re: A warriors fall (hospital thread for Aoi Open to all that wants to join)
As she heard the words come out of Aoi's mouth, Yuki froze. The very thought of it sent a shiver down her spine. But she nodded her head - she knew Aoi was right.
Yuki had seen it too. From the moment Aoi entered the arena, there was something...off about her. She wasn't the composed, dignified champion Yuki had challenged. She was driven by anger, striking out at Rose with more ferocity and hatred than Yuki had ever seen in her before. It frightened her to think that she was even capable of such things. From the start of the match Yuki didn't know if she should be worried about Aoi - and now, as she thought back on what she had seen in the context of what she knew now, the terrible truth seemed all too apparent. A lump formed in the dark-haired girl's throat as she realized that Aoi's anger had blinded her and broke her composure. She hadn't been thinking with the precision and alertness she should have, and that had made all the difference. If Rose hadn't gone after Rebecca...she wondered if Aoi would have won.
With Aoi taking her hand, Yuki drew in closer. She looked back at the injured girl with wide eyes brimming with tears. "I...I'm sorry, Aoi..." she began in a whisper. But Yuki fell silent again when Aoi's tone changed. Now, she had named Yuki herself as the one person who could take Rose down.
"M-Me..?" Her heart thumped in her chest so hard Yuki could practically hear it. "I...I can't, Aoi. I'm so sorry, but I can't. I tried already, and I couldn't. I'm ashamed of that loss, even to this day. I've tried to move past it, but...I know if I face Rose, it'll just happen again. I'm...I'm afraid, Aoi."
Yuki drew closer to the side of Aoi's bed. Her stoic facade had slipped away, and she had never felt so vulnerable before. But Aoi was someone she knew she could trust.

Re: A warriors fall (hospital thread for Aoi Open to all that wants to join)
Aoi looked at Yuki as she confessed her fear of facing Rose again and put her hand on Yukis shoulder and pulled her into a sort of a hug. "one of my mentors told me fear is good fear means we're aware of things. But he also said not to let that fear stop us form moving onward." Aoi said as she looked down she didn't want to admit to yuki but she was afraid to face Rose again to. she knew one day she would have to face her but she was scared.
"You're a great wrestler Yuki, i bet after that loss from Rose you lost your confidence didn't you.." Aoi said she would pat the back of Yuki's head holding her. "Confidence is hard to get back but I know you can do it." Aoi said calming to her Yuki and to her self. clenching her teeth alittle she would hold Yuki softly trying to Reassure her.
"Have you been losing non stop in your matches?" Aoi asked. "or have you been winning? cause losing is normal... Even if the person that beat you cheated..." Aoi tensed abit thinking back on how Rose manipulated her and on her own broken mind she was trying to Reassure Yuki but at the same time she was trying to Convince her self to although it wasn't working for her self as she was going into a dark place but hold out for yukis sake.

Re: A warriors fall (hospital thread for Aoi Open to all that wants to join)
"A-Ahh..?" As she felt the warmth of Aoi's hand against her shoulder, Yuki stepped closer. She blinked away her tears enough to look up toward the wounded girl - and moments later, she felt her arms wrap around her, pulling her closer as best she could in her bedridden state. Though she sniffled, Yuki still leaned closer to Aoi. Something about it made her feel safe and reassured, as though the former champion was there for her. Even if she struggled, she at least had Aoi. Yuki respected her, looked up to her even. Aoi was at the place Yuki most wanted to be...or at least, she was, up until tonight. But even despite her status, Aoi was still happy to see Yuki not as someone beneath her, but as a friend. Yuki respected that.
"I mean...yeah..." Around Aoi, Yuki didn't feel like she needed to talk tough or hide her concerns. She nodded her head toward Aoi as she brought up her confidence, settling into the sensation of her hand on her head. "Ever since then, I've...been trying to prove it to myself that I can still do this...that I'm still good..."
As Aoi brought up her record, Yuki looked up, her eyes meeting hers. "No...I haven't, no. In fact...I've actually been winning a lot lately. I wanted to get stronger than I was...and I think I'm doing it!" Even through the tears, Yuki found enough reason to smile. "So...there's that, right?" Just thinking back on it, she could feel the confidence returning to her!

Aoi would look at Yuki after the hug and would listen to her. She was okay with Reassuring people as she did it alot for Rebecca in the past. Hearing the girl speak she smiled a little "and you have been if you been winning that means you improved alot." Aoi said. "you skill is real your improvement is happening." Aoi said
"when i started training my mentor told me to watch and notice the little improvements when i sparred with him he would easily trip me up but over time i notice it was taking alot longer for him to trip me" Aoi stated. "little improvements go a long way" Aoi said and looked at Yuki nodding to her . "exactly even if its alittle your improving and thats what you need to focus on instead of big improvements. or on your failure you should only look at them on what you can do to improve on" Aoi said as she looked at yuki and readjusted her self in her bed as her leg was still suspended up to put as little pressure on her injury as possible.
"Like i said your a great fighter Yuki and you're very skilled you are champion material. "she smiled and as she lay back and sighed knowing she was going to be stuck like this for a while.

Re: A warriors fall (hospital thread for Aoi Open to all that wants to join)
Yuki wiped the tears out of her eyes, but when they came back down to settle on Aoi, a smile broke across her face. With each word from the former champion, Yuki could feel herself standing up a little straighter, until at last she raised to her feet, holding her head high. Part of her wanted to blush, hearing such flattering words, but she also knew she couldn't. Yuki held herself as a serious-minded wrestler, devoted to perfecting her talents and doing her best. She couldn't let such praise keep her back - especially when she knew it was true.
Aoi was a former champion, with all the prestige and ability that entailed. If she was to praise Yuki, the dark-haired girl had no doubt that she knew what she was talking about. But more to the point...Yuki listened to all she said, about her recent successes and how she could learn from her mistakes, and she could recognize it from what she'd seen in her own career. Her record stood as proof enough; she really was making her way back up there. And with Aoi herself saying it...Yuki felt herself .
"Okay-! Thanks, Aoi," Yuki said, "it really does help. I'm glad to know you're out there cheering for me...I'll remember that, okay?" Those last words from Aoi hung in her thoughts. Champion material. Was she? The prospect seemed so appealing, yet so daunting at the same time. But if Aoi believed in her, then maybe...
Yuki's eyes then settled on Aoi as she lay back in the bed - and she thought to herself on how Aoi was so confident Yuki could make a comeback, but didn't seem so convinced she could do the same herself. Yuki looked off, almost afraid to raise the subject. Would it be insenstive? But she cared about Aoi, and she didn't want her to be left here wallowing in her own despair. "Just...remember that you are too, alright? You've already held the belt once...I'm sure you could do it again."
After a pause, Yuki looked toward the door, starting to back away. "I really should probably get going before my family worries about me, though...get well soon, okay? I'll be thinking of you..."

Re: A warriors fall (hospital thread for Aoi Open to all that wants to join)
Aoi looked at Yuki glad she could reassure her and make her feel confident again. Aoi tried to listen to her own words but couldn't hear them as she would gave a small smile at Yuki. the girl would tell her she was thankful and Aoi smiled. "yeah i am Yuki your a great wrestler. "Aoi said Reassuring. she was glad to help Yuki feel confident and forgot how she use to cheer up Rebecca when she felt said the thought of Rebecca enter her mind as she felt more pain and angry at her self for failing her friend for making her suffer that match for to long.
She snapped out of it as she hear yuki say she could get the title again. However Aoi felt she didn't want the title it was cause of that belt that she hurt her friend that Her friend suffer cause of that belt. she honestly started to hate the belt thinking she didn't need it to be the best. "y-yeah right.... oh yeah you should head home before your family worries about you my family might be coming in tomorrow or something to see me they might be worried."Aoi said as she tried to keep her face from falling putting on a mask.
"Seeya yuki" AOi said as she waved by to the raven haired girl. when yuki left aoi would sit there her fist now tightening as she started thinking back ot all the self doubt and anger she had for her self she even thought how she shouldn't be allowed to cheer up yuki, aoi didn't want to admit she didn't want to face rose agian she didn't want a second lose to that girl. all thought of anger and doubt enter her and any thoughts of reassurance were nowhere to be heard. "Damn it....damnit ...dammit dammit dammit!!" she said in muffled anger trying to not let people hear her.

Re: A warriors fall (hospital thread for Aoi Open to all that wants to join)
Background (Secret)
The past couple weeks had been rather eventful for Húxiān, to say the least. Her speech after her match against Kotone had drawn quite a lot of heat—understandably so, given what Húxiān had said and the amount of property damage she had indirectly caused. Húxiān's words had sparked national outrage, and Húxiān was not keen on getting into unexpected altercations with enraged Japanese. Nor was she keen on having any surprise encounters with LAW's lawyers.
All of this necessitated that Húxiān lay low for a while. In order to avoid being recognized on the streets, she dyed her hair white and changed up her attire. Her apartment had been surreptitiously vacated, and her belongings were transferred to her cousin Méi Lǐ's residence under the cover of darkness. Even Húxiān's motorcycle—a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R—was transported in secret. Rather than openly ride it on the streets, the bike had been loaded onto a truck and transported to its destination: a body shop specializing in motorcycles, located in Kyoto, Japan. There, the bike received various modifications and a new paint job, all so that the bike would not be recognizable as Húxiān's bike. And about a week later, the modified motorcycle arrived at Méi Lǐ's home and Húxiān's new residence.
All of this was no trivial feat—however, Húxiān had both money and connections, as well as experience with disappearing and forging new identities. But unlike before, Húxiān did not create an entirely new identity for herself, making the process easier. Rather, she merely took the necessary steps to ensure that she would not be recognized in public and that no one would track down her residence.
Yet, somehow, in the midst of this situation, Húxiān had found time to plot. While her schedule had been quite busy, Húxiān managed to utilize the free time she had to work on various schemes and projects. One of these schemes happened to involve the former lightweight champion, Aoi Fukiwara. Not only had that abject fool willingly fought with an injured leg, she also happened to allow visitors to her hospital room. It was not particularly difficult to find out where Aoi was staying, a fact that Húxiān intended to make full use of.

————————
The hospital ward was relatively quiet and uneventful. It was late afternoon on a Friday in a ward where all the patients were in stable condition—in these halls, a code blue was as rare as a blue moon. Several nurses sat at their station, their countenances a reflection of the lethargic atmosphere. One stared blankly at the monitors keeping tabs on patient vitals. Another stared listlessly at the clock, counting down the minutes until her shift ended.
The last one stared aimlessly at the hallway in front of her, seemingly fixated on the empty hospital room directly across from the nurse's station. But contrary to her passive stare, the woman was actively daydreaming. At that moment, the woman had been imagining what would occur if Rose Gold decided to visit Aoi. She imagined the chaos that would ensue: taunts, screaming, the clatter of broken equipment.
But of course, none of that would happen.
The woman sighed, wishing that something would happen to break the mind-numbing monotony. Maybe another imposing heavyweight would show up and rile Aoi up. Or perhaps a fellow wrestler would visit and try to give Aoi encouragement.
But the stream of visitors had dried up days ago.
Well, that was not entirely true. There were other visitors, but none of them were for Aoi. Certainly, none of them were as interesting as Cyber Widow or Yuki... Kajiura? Kazekage? Kaijikuro? In any case, it didn't matter.
The nurse sighed, looking down at the medical chart in front of her: Aoi's chart. It was rather generic and failed to capture what had actually happened. If it were up to her, she would have put "got her ass kicked and knee torn up by Rose Gold" under "history of present illness". But of course, that would be very unprofessional.
Suddenly, something caught the nurse's attention. A white-haired woman sauntered into view. Nestled in the crook of her left arm were two rolls of something—the nurse could not ascertain what those objects were, but they almost looked like rolled up posters. In the woman's left hand was a bag of some sort that seemingly contained tools. And in the woman's right hand was a cup of coffee, with steam visibly emanating from it.
"Can I help you, ma'am?" chimed the nurse.
"Just here to do some maintenance on Room ###," said the woman as she walked past the nurses' station.
The nurse was mildly surprised—she had not been informed of any maintenance occurring. She looked towards the other nurses, who simply shrugged. The nurse paused momentarily, and then glanced back at the woman, who had since passed the nurses' station and was heading down the hallway. For a moment, the nurse considered questioning the woman further. But the woman seemed to know what she was doing and was already a quarter of the way down the hall: questioning her further would probably seem troublesome and annoying. Taking one last glance at the woman, the nurse sighed, slumping back into her chair.
Back to daydreaming, I suppose, thought the nurse.
————————
The white-haired woman walked down the hallway of the hospital ward. Her eyes scanned each room number as she passed. Eventually, the woman reached Room ###, Aoi Fukiwara's hospital room, and paused. She peered into the room, as if checking to see if it was occupied—it was. Upon seeing this, the woman made a quick left turn into the room. She took a quick glance at Aoi before setting her coffee and tool bag down on a table. "Don't mind me. Just here to do some maintenance," stated the woman as her eyes began scanning the walls.
