With Our Bodies on the Line - Vanessa Vixen vs. Satsuki Hayano (D)

Truth be told, Satsuki had never clotheslined anybody before. In all her street fights, bar brawls, and nightclub ambushes, she'd never once been in a situation where it was a good idea. Like a fish at her first poker table, then, it was expected that she'd miss her mark. What she didn't expect, however, was Vanessa to come right back at her, foot extended and aimed right at her-

Pain exploded across Satsuki's chin as she went limp across the mat. She still stirred a bit, but it was clear to everyone watching that a second brutal blow to her head had taken quite a bit out of the Queen of Clubs, who couldn't do anything to prevent Vanessa from following up.

With her opponent vulnerable on the floor, Vanessa strategizes just to keep banging up Satsuki’s head and neck. She lifts the pinkette’s upper half into a seated position, wrapping her thighs around Satsuki’s head from behind, then turns over on her hands to repeatedly thrust her hips up and down, beating her head against the canvas. She then crawls away seductively, making loving eye contact with her wife and tag partner, Valerie, who watches from the crowd to get a good view of the action.

As Vanessa drove her head into the canvas, almost every thought Satsuki had was driven out of her in a torrent of disorienting pain. All except one, that is. For the first time in this match, Satsuki felt as if she was in real danger of losing. She could taste the pure confidence radiating off of Vanessa, hear the roar of the crowd at the sudden comeback, smell her own blood in the water.

And she loved it.

The shift in momentum sent a jolt of adrenaline through Satsuki's veins. The toll that Vanessa's attacks had left on her was seemingly no more, and the Queen of Clubs found herself easily able to rise to her hands and knees. She crawled quickly over to Vanessa like a bear hunting its prey. One arm wrapped itself around Vanessa's neck, braced at the wrist with the other, locking in a classic rear naked choke!

Satsuki traced her opponent's gaze until she found a surprised-looking blonde looking back at the two of them. "Oh, is that your wife? You didn't tell me that she was such a cutie..." She tightened her choke, preventing any hope of a response.

“You’re eyes should be on me you stupid bitch!” Vanessa not wasting anytime runs against the ropes to bounce back and roll backwards off her opponent from the chokehold. As Satsuki turns around, the blonde launches a running Knee Strike towards her jaw.

She'd half expected Vanessa to escape from her chokehold, really. The blonde was strong, gritty, and angry -- all things that would make it all the more sweet to bring her down, but would also make it much harder for Satsuki to do so. Still, the Queen of Clubs was ready for it. With the thrill of the hunt still thrumming in her veins, Satsuki turned around. Vanessa's knee set off a million alarm bells in her head as it flew through the air, alarm bells that sent her rolling across the ground to dodge the strike!

Assuming she'd avoided another dangerous blow to her head, the Queen of Clubs rose to her feet. Not even taking a moment to rest or square back up, Satsuki immediately surged forward, swinging her leg around as if to go for yet another high kick... but keeping it on the ground at the last second, attempting to sweep Vanessa's legs right out from under her!

Signature Move: Layin' Em Down

Her knee strike had missed to the fox’s surprise. This girl is nothing but infuriating to her. She turns around to see her opponent charge up a kick below, then prepares to catch it with her hands. Unfortunately, she’d be swept off her feet and smack her face against the mat. Again, infuriating she thinks as she tries to stand up on a knee.

It just wouldn't do for Vanessa to get up off the mat, no, not after Satsuki had done so much hard work to put her there. A second sweep, this time targeting her opponent's upright leg, sent Vanessa right back onto the mat... in a very tempting face-down, ass-up position.

Seeing the salacious position that her opponent had been swept into, a devious idea sprang up in Satsuki's mind. She walked over to Vanessa's nearly-prone form and sat on her upper back, sliding her ankle underneath one of the blonde's shoulders so as to not start a three-count. "Oh believe me, my eyes have been on you this whole time, Mrs. Vixen," she taunted, referencing her opponent's earlier demands. "I've seen the way you flaunt this ass of yours like nobody but your wife is around to see it."

Then, Satsuki rose her hand... and brought it down hard onto Vanessa's toned cheeks!

"It's kinda rude that you don't want to share, don't you think?"

She pulled her ankle up, flipping her opponent by the shoulder so that Vanessa was facing upwards. Then, she sat down, swapping out her previous perch atop the small of Vanessa's back for one atop her face. She reached over and grabbed onto the blonde's ankles, trying to fold them underneath her arms for a matchbook pin. Both hands flew up to the air...

... and slapped back down onto Vanessa's ass. Once, twice, thrice, four times -- a rapid-fire rhythm across Vanessa's butt that signaled the debut of one of Vanessa's signature holds -- the Bad Beat!

Without Satsuki's ankle separating Vanessa's shoulder from the mat, the pin was now complete and ready to be counted. The Queen of Clubs nodded the referee over with a smirk, delivering one more hard slap to her opponent's behind in time with the count:
