A Hero's harder lesson - K.R.R. vs The Yellow Force

Being called useless in front of everyone and having her attempts to escape prove futile, weakened the will of the little woman. If it were not for the moral obligation of her self imposed challenges as a "hero", Amari had quitted right there, why fight against someone bigger and stronger, as experimented and cruel? But, what lesson would she teach her followers with that?

The girl reflexions came up to an abrupt end when the villains knee was close to her head, Amari managed to turn her face, thus avoiding a broken nose and yet Karla's blow found her cheek, the impact almost knocked her, shaking the brain of the young heroine who fell on her back.

The red headed then released her, the predator playing with food.

The so called heroine did not know which was worse, if the sensation of having been hit with a hammer in the face or or if the piercing sensation in her ankle. Somehow, she mustered her fainting strength and got up, to approach her rival and exchange blows, a serious mistake because when she supported the weight of her body on her foot to strike, the pain paralyzed her, right in front of Karla.

An explosion of ecstasy burst inside her knee when it made contact. Come clean delivery, the follow-through, and result - she paced back and watched their body decay onto a sheet of white. A hand combed betwixt the velvet tress; a heavy breath blew from her O-shaped mouth, eyes closed. And when Amari persisted before her torturer, she dipped her chin, curled her scarlet-lipstick brims into a toothy smirk, and laughed.

“Oh? You’re really standing so soon?”

A finger pressed into the tip of her chin. “Alright! Hahaha! Strike me, hundchen! Build up your confidence, so I can tear it back down.”

Her heart was a bath of heat. The anticipation numbed her throat; thrill shone on her quickened breath and crystalized in a subtle lean forward, just to wait for the strike. But it never came. That pause melted her joy. Her grin drooped into a frown, gaze narrowed into a razor’s edge.

“I don’t recall telling you to heel.”

Her foot stomped and aimed to pin Amari’s forward foot; the jagged heel pressed like a dull knife into skin. One hand reached for a handful of their collar, the other balled, cocked, and thrust a punch for Amari’s open stomach. Only then did her head reel back and rebound for a headbutt, aimed to dismantle that precious zeal it must’ve taken to stand up.

"Ahhhhh!" Amari let out a high-pitched screech as she felt her foot being trampled on, her slipper did not offer the best protection and yet if her foot were bare Karla's heel would probably have pierced to the skin right to the bone.

Dizzy from the pain the little heroine was unable to do anything, her opponent easily grabbed her by the neck and struck her belly as punishment for having disappointed her. The blow caused Amari's upper extremities to fall, inactivating them to defend her.

With her mouth and eyes wide open in reaction to the punishment in her stomach, Amari saw the head of the redhead approaching her, those few seconds between the two blows passed to her in slow motion. Her instinct Survival was activated and without doubt thoughts intervening, the girl turned her head forcefully, to collide face to face, if she couldn't put out the flames, she would instead fight fire with fire.

Repeated blows found their home within this pain-absorbant canvas. The flat yellow-clad belly welcomed Karla’s fist, as did her foot that burrowed into the boot’s material, with a blunt-spear for a heel. The last strike sought to tie this all into a bow. Her neck craned and snapped forward, all her upper-body weight thrown into the strike that crashed into their hardened skull. Forehead-to-forehead, the pain was instant and rendered her nauseous. Dizziness shrouded her eyes as she reeled back, with newborn lamb legs that hobbled together and both hands clutched the impact point that throbbed. “Ghk-!”

Whimpers crept from those punch-drunken lips, and a hiss followed. Both brows furrowed as Karla tried to reassert her gaze onto the foe that split into four. She’d take her best guess and swing, feet that bumbled forward and her almighty left fist that swung overhead towards one of the four Amaris she saw.

Stunned by the impact and with her whole body aching, Amari saw how Karla took a few seconds to recover and attack again, everything seemed to move around her and her body did not move, it seemed to be the end.

Surprised, she watched as the fist of her fierce opponent passed close to her face without touching it, it almost seemed as if Karla had pointed at someone else, Amari sighed in relief and shifted her entire body weight towards Karla who was now next to her, trying to tackle her with the shoulder.

"Gyaaaah!" A desperate attack, the self-styled heroine had no plan, yet she was willing to bet it all on any chance she had, so the tackle was infused with all her willpower.

The blunt unhinged her knees, torn from their legs, and left her to stand on her unguided muscle. Hobbles took her left and to the right. The forward direction became a myth; a definition that changed every few seconds as Karla fought to understand the world in one way she could; a fist that charged Amari’s blurred figure. It found clean air ahead, and her shoulder lugged along. Her heels slipped and caught the other, already veering forward before a shoulder rammed her chest, and she whipped back, collapsed upon the canvas with arms splayed out towards the sides, and she croaked a groan as a hand came to nurse the aching breast. Though her head bore the worst whiplash. Eyes that felt warm now jockeyed to blink in unison, and she started inhaling some of her red hair as it came around to swipe across her face from the left.

Adrenaline washed over her little body, Amari couldn't believe she had managed to knock Karla down, not only that, her opponent was at the perfect distance for a finisher move from the corner, if only her legs weren't shaking from the mix of emotions the small but speedy girl would have been on the pole in an instant.

Precisely she earned the nickname "Yellow Star" because the incredible speed with which she managed to climb and fall like a shooting star on her opponents, well at least during trainings, but of course, in no training session had her foot been pierced by a heel, nor had she ever faced someone who caused as much fear as that redhead.

Despite her doubts and the piercing pain in her foot, she ran to the pole, to perform a Moonsault in which she put all her hope, would she finally get her first victory in LAW? She could almost enjoy the triumph, the thought that she would finally earn some respected in her league accompanied her as she bent her knees to jump, but...

Sometimes being flat on your back is the strongest carnival ride. It suffocates the blood within your heart, throws it around in chunks and spits it throughout your veins like excrement. Your brain dances across your light - timed in a light show that pecks your eyes with blindspots. It took the muscle in your arms, twisted them and made the weight itself a burden. To move is what gave it pain; to lay still, offered something of a release. A pleasure that Karla couldn’t define, but unsanitary nonetheless. She wanted the former. The rush of discomfort. To step on molten rocks that forced your feet to carry themselves faster. That same molten surface that came underneath her back, rolled her hips up, knees cocked and sprang as Karla became lateral with a kick up! The crowd sang their tune of worry as she stood there; a hand to nurse her forehead, that murderous gaze that glued onto her back-turned opponent. Hair needled across her face, which protected her expression from view, only to those at Amari’s corner that saw the predator’s look, but everyone witnessed her advance. That trudge with high heels that came to join Amari at the turnbuckle zenith.

“Greetings, Hundchen.” She whispered with a voice like bitter honey. An arm swept over their throat and pulled back; her fist pressed against her own ribcage as Karla mounted the top turnbuckle. She wrenched her grip back, trying to align their head’s top towards the canvas, and a knee pushed into their lower spine to aid that prospect.

“This is where your justice ends.” She kissed her middle finger and thrust it towards the flickering lights of phone cameras, then leaped from the post and sought to drill their skull into the canvas for what was known as the BLACKOUT!

She bent her knees to jump, but instead of flying through the air she felt a grip that froze her throat, terrified Amari heard the voice of her rival, the fear she had learned to have towards Karla blocked her brain, which could not cancel the order it had already given to the legs of the heroine, to jump with all his might.

The Blackout took advantage of the Yellow Force against her, the head of the woman crashed against the canvas, the victim of the movement collapsed without showing signs of being able to get up soon... Or without help.

The stadium fell into chilling silence and the referee went into shock for a few seconds and thought the worst, like many in the audience, after reacting he made the signal for the bells to ring, K.O. victory for the redhaired, but far from bothering to raise Karla's fist in victory, he went to check the pulse of the other wrestler, making sure it was really nothing more than a knockout.

The paramedics arrived without delay, lifting the girl, however, took longer than expected, the spectators understood why when Amari was put in a collar before putting her on the stretcher and taking her out of the stadium very slowly.
