Sonja Kralj vs Vanessa Jones

Sonja felt that something wasn't right. While it was a submission match and this was the proper way to approach it, she was too early. She have to tire them first - she need to wear them down. This happened many times in her spars. Going in too early and let them escape. On the bright side, she has her opponent locked in headscissor. And since legs are quite stronger then arms, she didn't have much problems keeping Vanessa in between her legs.

Downside was, she wasn't able to keep squeezing all the time. She had to take a little break. While this was generally still safe enough to prevent opponent from escaping, this wasn't the case this time. She received a strike in her muscle right as she relaxed it, causing her to losen the grip a little. Aghhhh she grunted and tried to squeeze again, hoping that Vanessa won't manage to slip away when she wasn't holding her legs together.

Vanessa would slowly pull on Sonja's legs moving them down her body as she would get to her knees to face the woman who was on her back and start to throw punches at her face as she would slowly get to her feet bending Sonja's legs towards her own face among to try trap her with a pin technique to try keep the woman in pace.

Sonja tightened her leg muscles and tried to squeeze Vanessa's head, but was too late. She already slipped out and was on her knees. Sonja followed her lead and get on her knees as well, getting ready to continue with grappling. She tried to reach toward Vanessa to grab her hips, but received a hard punch right in her face.

Gaahhhh

Sonja grunted and shook her head, but received even more punches. More blood began dripping out of her nose and mouth as she eventually fall down on her back. She needed couple of moments to gather herself, but didn't get any second to do that. Her body was bent on half, but luckily for her the win condition was submission. Still, she didn't wait for too long, since the position was quite uncomfortable.

Sonja gathered her strength and pushed her hips up, trying to kick out of the hold. If successfull, she would roll away and stand up to catch a little breather.

Vanessa would continue the rain of pinches aiming to hit harder as she would see the blood now dripping out of her opponents nose and mouth a bit but she was soon pushed back a bit with one of the kicked hitting her in the face knocking her on her back with blood dripping from a cut in the eyebrow and stunning her for a few moments.

The fans would cheer as they would see that Vanessa was knocked backed down and would chant Sonja's name as they would all be stood enjoying the bloody fight.

Sonja could breath a little easier once she shook off her opponent. She really wanted to wipe the blood off of her face, but Vanessa was stunned and down on her back - it was perfect opportunity for a counter attack. So she stood up and walked toward her. Unfortunatelly they weren't in a normal ring, so she couldn't do any fancy aerial move to dish extra damage.

But this will be okay too. Sonja walked forward, sit behind Vanessa and wraped her legs around opponents neck for a triangle choke. She would smile and start squeezing.

Vanessa was about to get up but before she could she felt some powerful legs take hold of her and wrapped around her throat as she was now caught in the triangle hold.

Vanessa would see that she was in danger as she would feel the pressure build up from the hold so she drives to roll over in-between the legs so she could face Sonja as she would try push her arm in between the leg to get them free if she could.

Sonja and Vanessa found themselfs in a little weird situation. Sonja managed to catch her opponent in triangle choke hold, but she was quite swift and managed to use her agility to turn herself around and push an arm between her own head and Sonja's leg. So Sonja was still in control right now, just that her hold wasn't really effective anymore.

Sonja let go Vanessa's neck and quickly moved a bit lower. She would try to follow up with body scissor by wrapping her legs around Vanessa's body.

Vanessa was felt the legs move as both opponents would fight for power over each as Vanessa would strike at Sonja's legs once again as she would shift her body putting her back to Sonja as she would struggle to get out of the hold using one of her hands trying to pull the woman's leg open along with her free hand striking at Sonja still.

The fans would cheer seeing both fighters still go at it as there was blood and sweat on the mat of the cage and the medical team stood out side of the cage waiting.

Sonja's transition from triangle choke to body scissor was really successful. Sonja started squeezing Vanessa's body, trying to squeeze as much air out of her as she could. She felt punches on her leg, but Sonja didn't give up. She kept her legs around Vanessa's body. Her punching did weaken Sonja's scissor hold a little.

Once again it was kinda stallmate position. Sonja had Vanessa trapped between her legs, but her squeezing wasn't that hard due to all the punching in her legs. Just that this time she didn't let her go, but kept her trapped.

Vanessa would try to sit up aiming to get away from the woman as she still had her back to Sonja as she would focused on removing the woman's leg from around her body as she would try get to he knees pulling away from Sonja.

The ref would walk around the two watching very carefully as the two would struggle with each other on the floor.
