Well, the lady sure liked to talk about herself, that was obvious. It almost felt like her dad in a way, quick to belt out a mini autobiography at the smallest question of past accomplishments. Kind of annoying in all honesty, but it did give her the information she wanted. Personality aside, this was a woman of experience, prestige, and a record to back up the claims she made. "Nanana," Himeko pulled out her phone, unlocking it before tossing it to Nanase. "Do a quick search on Cyber Widow."
Nanase caught the phone, tapping away at the apps and buttons.
"Theresia Niedermeyer, German wrestler. Original known as Black Widow and known as the Silver Demon in Japan for a time. Wrestled around the world facing several people. There are a few interviews and headlines that point to her being trained by Yamamoto-san, confirming her words. She's also a known Heavyweight in LAW, facing the current champion and several other high-level opponents. Though..."
Himeko turned to Nanase. "Though... what?"
Nanase shook her head, handing Himeko's phone back. "Nothing. Yamamoto-san is correct. Several of LAW's more experienced wrestlers can trace their beginnings to Yamamoto's career at some point."
"... Alright." Okay, so this woman wasn't just blowing hot air. There was a point to the arrogance. "Alright." Himeko sat up. "How about the details only you could tell me, Yamamoto-san?" She glanced the Empress's way. "Let's pretend I'm one of the girls you're training. How would you work me? Run me the routine."

Re: Royal Gathering (Himeko and Ayane)
Ayane had been watching her to see if she caught on, but she mostly just sat in place before asking her partner to check and verify if what she said was true. She quickly found out it was and Ayane was all too happy to feel smug about the validation, she already knew it was true but the look on Himeko's face made it clear she was taking her seriously now. Finally she asked another valuable question and Ayane could already hear her answer in her head before she said it.
"My routine? Am I teaching you now? Because the first thing I would do is put you through your paces. This job hurts, even if you do everything right you'll walk away from it feeling pain all over. So It's a massive priority that I know someone I teach can handle the basics of each move before I go through any advance training. From there I start learning what they are good at, are they grapplers, powerhouses, strikers or high-flyers? Find what they can do teach them how to work that style and then teach them how to counter that style, so they know what to expect from opponents and how to adjust when their main strategy is being shut down. That's just the starting stuff of course. Once that's done I'd show them how to work in the ring, because the ring is just as important. You need to learn how to be aware of where you are at all times, how to keep the ref in sight while knowing how far you are from the ropes or the edge. Failing to understand even a single detail risks making a mistake that could cost you when you least expect it." Ayane said as her starting points. "Of course that's just the ring work. Presentation and behavior outside of the ring would be taught next but that would take some time to go over." Ayane said watching Himeko to see if she understood.

Re: Royal Gathering (Himeko and Ayane)
"... ... ..." Hiemko's expression lightened as she played out the routine in her head, following along with Ayane's words. Conditioning the trainee, teaching the basics, improving what they were best at, and mitigating what they aren't. It was a basic strategy, how you'd train just about any athletic. And hearing it come out of a wrestler's mouth, former or not, was a surprise. She most she saw from the coaching in a typical LAW gym were basic sparring matches and maybe a few pointers from a veteran or two (and that was a big maybe). Ayane was talking like someone that actually wanted to bring someone up. Probably one of the few people to actually have a general routine in mind.
"Huh..." And the Princess felt herself smiling. "Heh..." And even chuckling.
"Wow, it feels like I'm in my dad's office with him drilling me on our weekend schedule." She leaned back, thinking on the information. As curious as she was about Ayane's idea on presentation and behavior, this was plenty to chew on already. It could wait. More over...
"Alright... I think that's just about everything I need to know."
Himeko looked the woman in the eye. This wasn't someone just putting on airs, Himeko could confirm it now. For all the haughty words the Princess heard her speak in the promo, this was someone of experience. Someone that had a drive for this business and would take it by the horns. And while Himeko didn't give a damn, the amount of information she held wasn't anything to sneeze at. The potential of having Ayane as a resource could lead down some very lucrative doors in the future. There was no getting around it.
Himeko was impressed. And interested.
"Alright," She straightened herself, pouring herself one more cup of sake. "I think I've heard everything I need to." She brought the cup to her lips, pausing. "Yamamoto-san," She glanced over the woman. "I think I've taken enough of your time today, and you're definitely more than just the haughty woman you looked on stage." She said. "How about I... give you a test of sorts? A challenge of my own?"

Re: Royal Gathering (Himeko and Ayane)
One thing was clear as the words left her lips and Himeko stewed on her elder's words, she was hooked. Ayane was pleased of course, while she was certain most could see what she said made sense not everyone liked what she had to say like Cyber Widow who were quick to find fault or be angry at her choice of words. Himeko not being like that was a refreshing taste and if she was really interested in seeing what else she could learn Ayane would teach her. But her next words were one's that surprised her, a test? Ayane hadn't been truly tested yet and for once she had to think about what she would say next.
"It's an unfamiliar request but one I would not turn down. Still I'd like to hear the challenge before I accept it." Ayane said her eyes shifting between the two people in front of her. What kind of test would she have in store for her? She was far from her physical best and usually tests in wrestling meant fighting which was far beyond her.

Re: Royal Gathering (Himeko and Ayane)
Now it was Himeko turn to smirk and smile. The curious look on the woman's face had the Princess holding back a snicker. She could almost see the Empress's thoughts laying out on her face. She got her, if only for a split second.
"Oh, it's nothing big." Himeko said. "I'm not some asshole that wants to see a retiree do laps around the gym or something like that. I like what I'm hearing from you, but I'm not ready to throw my hat in just yet..." She turned to Nanase. "Hey Nanana, you know that one chick that's always in the runt's shop? The gaijin one that's always buying fabric and those cosplay kimono?"
Nanase canted her head. "Jones-san?"
Himeko scowled, rolling her eyes. "The other gaijin. Adachi's client."
"Ah, Hawthorn-san."
Himeko nodded. "Yeah, her. Send me her info."
Nanase pulled out her phone, tapping away before Himeko's own phone started to buzz. She glanced over the information.
She gave the profile one final look before sending it to Ayane's email. "Okay, I just sent you the profile of a LAW wrestler. She's new and basically sucks at fighting. Only won once and it was after a reversed decision. Your typical otaku-idol type that ran to LAW because the attention and money's here and not some convention." She explained, tapping away on her phone. "My challenge is a pretty easy for someone like you: train this chick up to get a solid win. Do that and I'll throw my hat in your corner. You can have me and my girls in your back pocket." She looked at Ayane. "That's it. Just work your magic on this wannabe otaku samurai, have her win a match clean with no snags, and I'll consider that proof enough that you're all you say you are." She paused. "Oh, and just to give you a little motivation..." She leaned forward, setting her phone on Ayane's desk, a profile of Amano Jaku showing on her screen.
"The girl that took on the Lightweight Champion in American and nearly ripped the belt off her? She's with me." She tapped a finger over Amano's stable.
Akuma no Senshi: The Demon Warriors. Led by Haganehime.
"So... we got a deal?"
"Oh, it's nothing big." Himeko said. "I'm not some asshole that wants to see a retiree do laps around the gym or something like that. Re: Royal Gathering (Himeko and Ayane)
Ayane's head turned to laptop which she promptly opened up after being told an email was sent to it. Sure enough it just showed up right after it was sent, causing the long retired vet to look up at Himeko as she was looking over the girl in question. She had heard the name but not seen much of girl she would be working with and Ayane felt that some hidden catch was in the air. Still a challenge had been laid out and Ayane would meet it as befitting her pride and confidence in her ability to see her vision through.
"Very well, If wrestling is to succeed worthless louts need to improve as well. Wasn't my intention to start from the bottom but if getting someone like you on my side requires it so be it. Won't be too hard, if she's so new it means she hasn't made any taken any bad habits to muscle memory, plenty of room to improve her. You just have to make sure she's willing to learn from me, an unruly student isn't impossible but it's uneccesary work I'm not looking for in a loser." Ayane said, before offering her hand to shake on it. She'd have to get in contact with this Akari Hakune but it was nothing she couldn't handle so long as this girl was willing to listen.

Re: Royal Gathering (Himeko and Ayane)
"Heh," The woman was confident at least, immediately spinning the bad hand she was seemingly dealt into a positive. Turning a weakling newbie with little experience and luck into a blank canvas that could be painted any color and shaped in any direction. Not many folks would see a girl with record like that and spin it into something workable.
"It wouldn't be much of a challenge if you got someone that was already decent." Himeko said, standing up before taking the woman's hand. "And I'm not just gonna' throw you some rowdy punk that can't be worked on. Adachi told me that this chick's a pretty decent student, or at least she doesn't complain that much." She shook the woman's hand, a satisfied grin on her face. This was going to be interesting. It'd be a sight to see if this woman could actually bite as well as she barked. And investing in someone this prestigious might just make LAW a place worth coming to.
"Well Empress, looks like we got a deal."

Re: Royal Gathering (Himeko and Ayane)
There was little else that needed to be said, the offer was on the table and all Ayane had to do was pass a simple test to gain the ground she was looking for. Ayane had made lemonade out of lesser gals so one like this was just another step for her, even if she had been a bit removed from actually doing so she was at least confident in her ability to teach still.
Once Himeko left Ayane began looking at the files sent to her once more, wanting to figure out what to do first and go from there by seeing what exactly this person knew. It would take up the rest of her day but she was already working on a means of training this sponge into something that could leave an impact, something she was convinced she could do for anyone and everyone once she was given the right platform.
