Clara GASTER vs Izuku Midoriya - Ironman Beach Match

As Clara tried to get a momentary break at the ropes, Deku would leap at her from the front. She closed her eyes, prepared for an attack...but when she opened them, it was as if Izuku has disappeared.

"...hu---!!!"

The confusion lasted a few moments before Deku's leg hit Clara from behind, slamming in the back of her head!

Her vision flickered as she fell down, grasping the back of her hurting skull!

Deku's offense so far had been fast and furious, intended to not give the dark haired girl any moment to rally and fight back so he could stack up points early on. So with Clara up against the ropes Deku would leap up and swing his leg around catching the lightweight off guard with a kick to the back of her head!

Landing back on his feet in front of the ropes Deku saw Clara laid out on the mat in front of him. Nodding to himself Deku decided to further press his advantage by turning around facing the ropes where he would vault up perching his feet on the top rope and holding himself there with his grip on the top rope Deku would suddenly leap backwards attempting to come down on Clara's body with a springboard moonsault!

Clara questioned Deku's strategy. Overwhelming her was well and good...but the two of them still had 20+ minutes to go. He couldn't possibly maintain this level of energy all throughout the match...could he?

Right after she fell on her back, holding the back of her skull, she would see Deku on top of the top rope. In response, Clara would quickly lift her legs up to her stomach, trying to spike Deku on her knees no matter what highflying maneuver he went with!

Going into this Deku knew his strategy was a risky one to be sure. Namely due to the possibility of burning himself out too early into the match. However it was a risk he would have to be willing to take.

After all Clara had the advantages of a much greater in ring experience and skill level. But in terms of physicality thats where Deku believed his advantages to lie. So the key for this bout for him was making use of that, damaging Clara heavily on and creating a point gap she'd be unable to close even if he did burn himself out and this moonsault would go a long way towards that plans fruition.

...Or at least it would had Clara not raised her legs up, causing Deku to smash stomach first into her feet.

"GAH!" A scream of pain erupted from Deku as the air got blasted out from his lungs. Practically bouncing off Clara's heels and onto the mat beside her Deku curled up holding his stomach in pain while trying to take deep breathes to force some air back into him so he could try and get back into this match up.

Deku would drive himself on top of Clara's legs, rolling away from the Shadow Lord in pain, grasping at his aching stomach, and trying to stabilize his breath. As Clara rolled onto her belly, she would pounce forward. She wouldn't let her rival recover in the slightest.

She would wrap her arms straight around his head for a simple side headlock, pressing her arms into the sides of Deku's neck. Even if he wouldn't go down quickly, she was going to wear him down with steady offence!

Deku groaned softly and kicked his leg against the mat in pain still from his failed aerial attack. Nursing his stomach Deku would try to sit up only to be captured by his rival's arms wrapping around his head!

"Mmmff!" Grunting into his opponents arm as a response Deku knew he couldn't afford Clara wearing him down. So calming himself down Deku would try to swing his arm up in order to try and slam his elbow into Clara's stomach! If successful he would try and repeat the move in order to try and make the dark haired girl let go!

Clara would keep the hold firmly trapped, the Brit wasn't planning to let go for a while, or if she had to, she would transition to another hold.

That meant that as Deku tried to ram his elbow into her stomach (Clara grunting in pain at the shot), the Shadow Lord would actually release the hold...only to take a firm hold of the attacking elbow, before outstretching it, trying to trap Deku in a Fujiwara Armbar!

Deku grunted as he ended up trapped by Clara with the side headlock, leaving him without many options in terms of how to respond. The most obvious of those however being to send several elbow shots towards the girl's abdomen!

Of course however Clara's skill was nothing to scoff at. Despite the grunts of pain from her Deku felt his arm grabbed and before he could do anything found himself dropped down with a fujiwara armbar! "Agh!" Yelling in pain Deku groaned and trying rolling onto his side, trying to lessen the pain of the move but otherwise he was trapped!

Clara was absolutely playing for time. The clock ticked on, already at 27 minutes remaining, and ticking further down as the Brit kept her opponent trapped in a hold. As Deku turned to keep the hold slightly relaxed, Clara would proceed with trying to improve the hold just a little bit. Keeping the Fujiwara in with one arm, she would snake her other arm around Deku's head...before clasping her hands together! The result was Deku being entrapped in a Headlock/Fujiwara Armbar combo, a perfect way for Clara to take away her foe's strength!

Deku grunted and sighed softly as he managed to alleviate some of the pressure on his arm from the armbar Clara had managed to lock in against him. This wasn't a good position to be in any which way you cut it... and it was only about to get worse. "Agh!" Yelling out in pain as an arm wrapped around him Deku struggled and writhed within Clara's grasp as the time continued to tick down. Knowing he had to do something he attempted to turn over more on his side. Reaching up and grasping his opponent's arm in the process Deku would attempt to roll backwards in a effort to take advantage of Clara's positioning to try and press the girl's shoulders onto the mat for a pinfall!
