Tara Jaeger vs. Aphrodite

A rope drag was definitely not a rather legal move, the referee calling the goddess out for it and counting for each moment that she did, going up to the count of a full bodied "3". It wasn't that she cared but she still wanted to win and so would release her right before the count would disqualify her. The blonde wouldn't get much either in that matter as she was struck right in the stomach by a wild leg that went out from Tara as a means of partial escape. The blind shot had gotten lucky, stumbling her back a foot or two before rage began to build up in her as she would come back to try and and savage her.

Aphrodite would do so by attempting elbow Tara in the back of the head in retaliation, "Be quiet!"

'Freaking bitch using a damn rope drag.' Tara thought to herself, holding tightly onto the rope rope to both impede the drag as much as possible while also helping her keep from groaning or yelling pain. Thankfully the rules of the match worked to her favor as the ref forced the blonde woman to back off... but not before she shot a leg back to strike back at the woman, even if blindly.

Thankfully judging by the feeling of soft flesh against her foot and the sound of pain from behind her meant it had hit. "Heh.." Tara chuckled to herself as she turned around just in time to see Aphrodite coming in hot! Eyes widening Tara held onto the top rope a bit tighter before instinctively dropping down while swinging her knee up to hopefully strike Aphrodite in the stomach while avoiding her elbow! "Screw you!" She'd also shout back in response to the blonde's words while swinging her knee up!

Probably charging out at Tara was not the best idea in her mind in hindsight as she came at her to try and get some wanted revenge. Tara was awaiting her easily and it didn't help that the goddess had foolishly near called out her attack. She would then be struck for her trouble right in her stomach, doubling her over as she slowly recoiled back. She fell straight into a trap and paying for it in the process as the goddess fell in part on one knee. Aphrodite grit her teeth, attempting to stand back up.

"Bitch!" she'd call out before trying to strike out at Tara once again.

Things were really starting to heat up now as the tensions between Tara and Aphrodite somehow grew higher to the point of exploding as their natural distaste for each other only grew as with each hit between them. Seeing Aphrodite start to get up to her feet Tara would respond by giving the blonde the come at me gesture with both hands before shifting to a.. much different hand gesture as she gave the woman a double middle finger.

"Bring it ho!" Tara would challenge as she launched herself forward, swinging her leg around to slam a kick into the blonde woman's side!

"Fine then, you asked for it!" spoke the supposed goddess of love as she got back on to a stable and proper footing. The two fighters seemed to passionately hate each other now and there seemed no going back. Both of them seemed to have a similar core fighting background as Aphrodite struck she moved like true fighter, a pure test of skill and will between both of them as the kick struck into the blonde's side, bringing her fist bare as she was brought low. Her body ducked in, traying to come up to uppercut her back in response.

"Graahh!!" she exclaimed, wincing as she attacked.

Everything was now very clear between the two middleweights... and that was that they hated each other... with a passion it seemed. Despite it being fairly early on in the match both were practically foaming at the chance to hurt the other and resorting to whatever insult they could fling! Charging forward Tara managed to swing her leg up, slamming her foot into the supposed goddesses side earning a satisfactory groan in pain.

However it was a blow not without its consequences! Before she was able to pull back or mount any significant defense she found the fist of her opponent flying upwards into her chin! "Gyah!" Crying out in pain as her head shot back Tara was forced to take a step back before gritting her teeth and refocusing on the blonde. Knowing she couldn't allow the woman to press her advantage Tara pushed herself forward while raising one of her legs, shooting it forward for a thrust kick right into her opponent''s stomach!

It seemed like the two similarly trained fighters had met each other full frontal to fight it out, knocking each other blow for blow as the match went on. Aphrodite was hurting but she knew full well that at this point Tara was hurting too and had been pressing the offensive against her, all in payback for the early part of the match. The goddess of supposedly love had known for her opponent as she continued to attack, managing a hit after being struck in the side and powering through.

"Guhh!!"

Aphrodite then tried to even further press the attack, striking out with another strike before Tara could meant a solid defense again but it was too late. Before anther strike could land, Tara's foot connected with her unprotected stomach, staggering the goddess as she had the air knocked out of her much to her own surprise.

The match devolved into a battle of strikes between the supposed goddess and the self claimed belly stretcher. Neither was willing to give in a inch to their opponent as they laid into each other with blow after blow. As she lashed out with a kick Tara watched Aphrodite carefully, prepared for anything and everything. One thing was certain and Aphrodite was not the type to underestimate at this point, if for no other reason than Tara was wanting nothing more to lay the woman out and prove her superiority. Something that a slight mistake could cost.

Thankfully however her thrust kick connected successfully into her opponent's stomach pushing her back and driving the air from her leaving the woman bent over. "Heh.." Smirking at this Tara took another step forward closer to the woman as she threw her leg straight into the air till it was parallel to her body. Then she would descend it down, aiming to drive her heel right into Aphrodite's shoulder with a vicious axe kick!

Tara was simply outpacing her when it came to outright striking prowess, even if both of them shared similar talent, there was just enough of a gap between the two that the goddess couldn't keep up with. That gut hit was proof, allowing the belly stretcher to get in a bad hit, doubling her over. She took a step back, clutching her stomach before looking up as a heel came down for an axe that landed right down upon her shoulder. The panful attack making her shoulder and arm numb and motionless as she falls down to her knees.

The uninjured arm clutched the shoulder, looking panicked for a brief moment as her teeth clinched together, "Damn it!"

In terms of pure striking ability Tara would admit that Aphrodite was definitely no slouch, that much was easy to tell from the force of the blows Tara had taken at the blonde's hands from before. But luckily whether it was from experience or luck Tara had managed to gain the upper hand, not only stunning the woman but leaving her perfectly vulnerable for Tara's follow up strikes which left the blonde on her knees before the dark skinned wrestler.

Smirking down at the girl Tara would set her shoulders back while placing a hand on her hip admiring her handiwork. "Now thats a good look for you babe. On your knees in front of me." Knowing that such an insinuation would no doubt eat at the blonde's ego and apparent god complex Tara would aim to follow the verbal assault with a physical one by turning on her heel and throwing her leg back, attempting to slam her heel into the kneeling goddesses face with a superkick!
