Raquel thought she may have had the match won but as she applied pressure she heard the referee call for the rope break! Raquel let go and stood tall, striking a pose or two for the crowd as she strut about. She was also backing off to let Lu get fully back up to her feet to honor the rope break. Raquel was waiting for Lu to rise and fully be ready before moving back in, attempting to lock up with Lu in a grapple.

Fortunately, Raquel apparently decided to grant Lu a moment of respite after freeing her from the Boston Crab. She couldn't help smiling as she mentally thanked her opponent's generosity. She used to opportunity to remain on the canvas for a couple seconds, allowing her body to recover from the crippling moves targetting her midsection.

Once Lucy's recuperated enough, she grasped the ropes and slowly pulled herself up. It took her a moment to steady her footing but when she did, she then adopted a proper wrestling stance and tenatively approach Raquel. If an opening presented itself, Lu would step forwards and attempt to cinch in a side headlock. Should she successfully apply the headlock, she would swiftly twist her body before letting herself fall down for a standard neckbreaker.

Raquel would be surprised when Lu moved in a more technical manner than anticipated! As Raquel's head was squeezed she reached up to try o power out of the grip not noticing the movements of her opponent. Soon Raquel plummeted down to the mat and landed hard, pain surging through her neck!

"ARRRRGH!" Raquel howled as she cradled her head in her arms, kicking the mat in pain as Lu fought her way back into the match taking the initiative from the red head!

Lu successfully pulled off her plan; her side headlock into a neckbreaker left Raquel temporarily downed. Of course, Lucy resumed on the offence now that she had the upper hand again. She crouched down by the American and grabbed her right arm by the wrist. In the same fluid motion, Lu snapped her legs shut around Raquel's bicep while at the same time, pulling at her arm to hyperextend her elbow to trap her in a cross armbar.

Things only got worse for Raquel as her arm was stretched out and the speedy striker was stuck in an arm bar! Raquel howled and kicked, clearly in agony as the hold quickly caused her a great deal of pain! Raquel screamed again and tried to twist, turning into the hold and using her legs to get her body off the mat. If she could roll into the hold enough Lu's shoulders would be on the mat and she would be pinned even though the hold was still applied! She either had to let go or she would lose to Raquel via pinfall.

At first, Lu raised an eyebrow in mild perturbation as she watched Raquel react to the armbar in rather odd way. As such, Lucy failed to predict the incoming counter and pinfall attempt. "Woah!" She obliviously exclaimed as her opponent shifted her body so that her shoulders pressed onto the mat. The ref caught on quickly, she dropped down and started the count.
"One!.."
"Tw-"
Lu's eyes widened when she heard the ref's voice and she instantly broke the submission hold and rolled away, freeing her foe. However, she didn't grant the redhead any time to recover. Upon springing back to her feet, the bluenette sprinted towards Raquel and attempted either a dropkick or a double foot stomp depending on whether she was standing up or lying down respectively.

Raquel had been getting up, rubbing her aching arm as she was free from the hold but that quickly went badly once more as she took a dropkick to the chest sending her back down to the canvas! "UGH! Come on..." Raquel said as she hit the mat on her back, slapping it in frustration as she sat up looking to rise back to her feet again.

Lu's dropkick connected, flooring Raquel before she could fully get on her feet. Lucy performed a kip-up and would've continued attacking but she hesistated when she heard her opponent's frustated words. "Tch..." She clicked her tongue. "I'm sorry but I can't lose here!" Once she's made her declaration, she rushed towards her foe and jumped. This time she tried to hit Raquel with a superman punch.

Raquel saw Lu rushing at her and this time she was ready. Lu jumped up and Raquel moved to the side letting Lu fly by as she missed Raquel! From here Raquel would not waste time in moving behind Lu and hooking her arms from behind in a Full nelson hold, squeezing hard before trying to lift Lu up and plant her to the mat with a dragon suplex! Raquel would keep her back arched going for a surprise pin after planting her opponent to the mat with a hard suplex.

To Lu's utter dismay, Raquel not only dodged the superman punch, but she also slipped behind the bluenette and trapped her in a full nelson. "Eh?.. Woah!" She barely had any time to react to the hold before she was abruptly flung backwards and brutally slammed onto the ground, dazing her. "Gark!" Moreover, the dragon suplex ended with her shoulders touching the canvas, prompting the ref to drop down and start the count.
"One!.."
"Two!.."
The sound of the ref slapping the mat once again brought life to Lu's eyes and she hurriedly attempted to flip her body forwards to escape the pin. From there, she would lethargically stumble to get onto her feet, though she'd yet to fully recuperate from the dragon suplex.
