Kyoko watched Karen leave in a huff, she didn't even pay for it the right way but Kyoko collected the bills up all the same, boiling over and about ready to burst and take someone's head off, or at least bust their abs. Either way she was livid at the humiliation a drink Karen brought on her and was about ready to run to the back and just get out of the way of people because she was pretty close to just hitting anyone who even remotely pissed her off. She didn't notice someone was in front of her until she was almost running into them. She stopped just in time and nearly stammered out an apology before she realized it was one of the employees, and one who had pestered her before. Spoiler
"Oh heey! Kyoko I been meaning to talk to you before the shift started but I thought since the day is almost over and customers are winding down we can talk now." Kirie said a bright smile that contrasted the scowl on Kyoko's face. "For fucks sake Kirie don't you have any patience? We are still working you know." Kyoko said which only slightly dropped the smile of the girl in front of her. "Oh come on, like I said it's almost over what possible customer could still want to bother you? Look can you just let me show you what I can do and I promise you will find me a good addition to you." Kirie said for what had to be the 50th time since Kyoko had known her, wanting to join LAW and at her side, Kyoko didn't take people in that easily and she didn't like the idea of needing an assistant. "Like I said, after the day is over, not before, will I consider looking at what you can do, now put your uniform back on before your seen out of it, you look unprofessional." Kyoko said giving her no time to disobey or speak before she turned around the other way not wanting to have this discussion any longer and feeling Kirie would not listen otherwise.
Anyone that could entire the task that was putting up with a very drunk Karen Starting would certainly have no patience left to spare. Being a career rival of her, Katherine Hart knew that better than anybody. Had she known the situation, she'd have chosen to visit another day. Hart was every bit as much of a household name as LAW was as a company. She had something of a legendary legacy that went behind the ring. Her skills and timing within the squared circle were acknowledged around the world. But today, her timing would not be especially in her favor. Having arrived after previous visits from Yoko, Yukari, Theresia, and Karen, a third party could only assume that the staff and Kyoko were about one more bad customer away from hopping over counters/registers and throwing hands. And who else would arrive at such a sensitive point in time about ten minutes after Starring had departed than The Super Kitty, herself?
Katherine "Super Kitty" Hart
"Macaque's Athletics? Has a few good reviews on Google, it looks like." Kat would say to herself as she held up her phone. She wore a pair of form-fitting, flattering, mid-rise blue jeans that accentuated her wide hips, and a form-fitting lavender Super Kitty tee shirt and white sneakers. Of course, she donned her mask pretty much everywhere.
Hart held no purse or backpack. Anyone that was paying close attention could tell that she was in a hurry. She had parked a block over speed walked to the store. After putting her phone in her pocket, she'd enter the store. As she stepped in, despite her intention of getting down to business and getting in and out quickly, she spied a bill out of the corner of her eye. Unbeknownst to her, it had been dropped by Karen as she threw the fistful of currency at Akan and the staff on her way out. An act she surely would have chastised Karen for had she known. Surely, this note/bill near the entrance simply escaped the staff's notice.
Right away would collect the money in her hand and stand up. Kat began to look around.
"Nobody around here looks like they dropped anything. No one's looking for anything they've lost..." She'd murmur to herself as she scanned the area. It wasn't a department store or a superstore or anything like that. But it certainly wasn't small. Hart quickly came to the conclusion that this would be like finding a needle in a haystack. But her moral compass within her compelled her to see that the bill could be returned to its rightful owner. In the distance, Hart spotted Akiko. Of course, she didn't know who the lady was. But she noticed the woman putting some of the items on the clothing racks and decided that she must work here. It's not like there was an abundance of staff working the floor, nor were there many customers this late in the afternoon. The Super Kitty would approach the lady and look to grab her attention.
"Excuse me! I think someone may have dropped this. I found it on the floor." She began, showing the lady the money.
"Could you hang onto this in case the owner comes back in here looking for it?" She spoke cordially enough. Her conspicuous mask gave away who she was. There was a good chance that this woman would recognize her and that things would go smoothly.
As she struck up some conversation here and gesticulated, the ceiling lights highlighted the tone on her arms. Hart's purple shirt was tight enough to draw attention to her large bosom, but if you looked closely, you could see the outline of her strong, chiseled abs. As she continued going about her business here, Hart was blissfully unaware of the conversation and presence of Kyoko and Kirie in the back.

Akiko had been preoccupied after the storming out of the last drunk patron, thankfully she didn't seem to cause any actual damage before leaving which let her go right back to stocking things up unaware of the homeless notes left behind. Least not until she was surprised by another patron, as big as the last and clearly a wrestler just from a glance, Akiko stopped what she was doing and looked at Kat before noticing she was bringing forward money. "On the floor you said? That's odd...unless, did you find that near the entrance by chance?" Akiko asked before her eyes started to recognize the wrestler in front of her, she had seen the mask before but it didn't click until she had stared at it for a bit, when she saw that the women in her store was tag team champ Kat Hart she was surprised since that made her the most high profile customer that had come in today. Akiko kept her cool as she took the money but thankfully Kyoko had arrived before the conversation could go on much longer, having finally peeled off from the persistent Kirie.
"Sorry Akiko I had to take care of something in the back here's the bills Karen dropped earlier. It was for one of the kid hat's so you can consider the rest one big tip. Anything el-Are you fuc...You have to be joking right now" Kyoko stopped and softly muttered when her eyes went to the customer she was attending to, the mask caught her attention and then everything else did too. Her hands started to squeeze the money in her hand as she found herself staring at Kat in shock that seemed to slowly turn to anger as Kat stood their, her attire letting the form of her abs be shown through her shirt which only seemed to rile up Kyoko more even if she didn't show it yet. "Oh Kyoko, good I was wondeirng what had happened there, but you seem to have missed a few, thankfully Ms. Hart over here found the rest. I admit I'm not sure if I should keep it, since, uhhh, what was her name?" Akiko stopped asking Kyoko confused as she had slowly taken the money out of her hands. Kyoko blinked look at Kat and then back at Akiko. "It, it was Karen auntie, she's a wrestler and was drunk. So it makes sense she overpayed." Akiko looked at the money in Kat's hands, before taking it. "Well Ms. Hart I thank you for telling me, even most decent people would have simply pocketed it but you seem to be as virtious in person as you are on screen. I will make sure to inform this Karen of her lost money, maybe you could drop it off to her Kyoko? And if she refuses I can donate it to something around town." Akiko said since Karen had already well overpayed for it she didn't feel right keeping the money even if her store could make use of it. Kyoko wanted to laugh at the prospect of giving Karen the money back she'd just find someone on the street to give it too instead but she wouldn't tell Akiko that, instead her eyes went back to Kat and she realized personal issues aside she had to actually do her job still. Slowly forcing a smile she went into work mode as she began to speak, "Thank you Ms. Hart ehehehe...Is there anything you need from us? Or were you just being a good samaritan."
"Mhmm. Right near the entrance, on the floor". Kat answered the the delightful older gal whilst pointing towards the entrance of the store. She was slowly starting to piece together the fact that something must have gone down here. Though she had no idea just how many incidents and how many "tough customers" Kyoko, Akiko and the rest of the staff had to deal with today.
When she diverted her eyes away from the entrance and back towards Akiko, Kat caught the lady staring. She offered a genuine pleased smile and expression in response as Akiko took the notes. Sure, she was in something of a hurry, The Super Kitty always had time for her supporters. She was happy that her presence alone could help brighten the day and the atmosphere in the store. Kat's smile persisted, at least until Kyoko got within earshot. Akan's eyes darted towards Katherine's instantly. Kat met her gaze with an expression that was somewhere between surprise and disgust. A woman of lesser moral fiber might have made a scene, arranged to give Kyoko a taste of her own medicine with several knees to the gut or offer a one-star customer experience whilst expecting five-star service from Kyoko and the staff. Thankfully, Katherine, for the mutual animosity she and Kyoko held for each other, wasn't so tactless or cruel. After just a split second of initial shock, the legendary luchadora placed her hands on her hips. Her thin shirt was still as flattering as ever, practically appearing as if it were painted onto her skin. She immediately noticed Kyoko crumpling the money in her hands inadvertently. Kat exhaled before finding her usual composure again.
Akiko addressed Kyoko. Kat was able to glean that a certain Karen had dropped the money that Kat collected. No doubt there was much more of it scattered around just a few minutes ago.
"Oh, you're too kind, Miss! Thank you for making sure that the money will go to a place whether it goes back to Karen or to a relief effort in our local area. I know a soup kitchen nearby that could really use it if you can't get ahold of Karen."
It wasn't long before Kyoko forced a smile and addressed The Super Kitty. It was painfully obvious that Kyoko was forcing this overall demeanor. How often did anyone see her smile on-screen or ever? Kat realized that the fact that she was forcing herself to put up this front at all meant that there were certain circumstances at work here. Things that anyone with an ax to grind with Kyoko could likely take advantage of.
"Kyoko! You...picked up a side gig? Is that Belly Queen merch you bragged to me about not selling as well you told me it was? You're selling some of it yourself on the side?" Kat asked with a raised eyebrow. Memories of Kyoko and Ayame jumping her not too long ago and putting her through the announce table for next to no reason came flooding back to her. You could hear it in the masked woman's voice as she cocked her hip to the side and spoke rhetorically. But she had no intention of picking up the conversation where the previous promo war between them left off.
"I'm kidding, I'm kidding." Hart shook her head before raising her palm to show that she was ready to back off and back down.
"I'm not going to pretend that I know what going on. And I'm not in the business of making a spectacle of personal affairs outside of the ring. I'm always happy to be a good samaritan, but I'm really am here today as just another customer. A customer with a very important interview tomorrow with Lexy Alan and Alaina Sanders, so I'd like to wrap up here quickly if I can."
"I'm putting together an outfit for the occasion. I picked out an awesome dress! It's just the right shade of purple that I like. I'm trying to find shoes to go with it. I know this is an athletics store, but I don't suppose you guys carry pumps? Preferably red ones?" Kat would ask Kyoko, genuinely as she tried to go about her business to get what she needed.

Akiko was usually very good at spotting tension but in her good mood at how well they had been selling products and from the recent virtue of Kat Hart herself made her oblivious to the fact that Kyoko and Kat were clearly not happy to see each other. If she had she might have recommended Kyoko work in the back for about 30 minutes and not in the main store and avoided any known crisis that could befall the store. "The one a few blocks down right before the highway right? I've been a few times when I can, though I must admit it's been some time since my last visit. I'll be sure to give it a look if Karen doesn't want her money back." Akiko said before she heard a bell go off at the counter seeing a customer needing her attention she glanced back at Kat. "Well thanks again." Akiko said with a smile before turning to Kyoko and giving her a pat on her shoulder. "Looks like you were right, this place may end up staying afterall from what we sold today." Akiko added with a smile before she walked off, it was a reassuring thing and Kyoko actually briefly smiled more genuinely before her eyes drifted back to Kat and she felt it sour away. Her words about a side gig didn't help and Kyoko almost bite her tongue trying to keep her mouth shut. Kat did back off but by this point Kyoko was already pissed and barely resisting the strong urge to spear through her and begin pummeling her abs until Kat could barely breathe. But she had a job to do so Kyoko would ignore most of what she said to actually focus on the matter at hand.
"Yes, we have pumps." Kyoko said forcing out every word to be devoid of anger before she pointed to the second floor. "Top floor in the corner farthest from the stairs. We only have displays because people have stolen shoes before so you'll have to get a staff members help to get the actual product and as much I'm sure you'd love to have me walking you everywhere someone closer could help you. Kirie and Anka should be in that area to help." Kyoko said before an idea passed through her head. Kirie was working in that area, or at least she was supposed to be when she wasn't hounding her all day, and Anka was probably on her lunch break which meant at this hour it would just be Kat and Kirie in that area, Kat isolated from any prying eyes with a staff member who would likely do what Kyoko said, she hadn't planned a single thing and yet an idea that seemed so perfectly set up was already in her head. But could she do that knowing she was supposed to be helping out Akiko and that this would surely reflect badly on the store?
Beyond being mildly impressed with Kyoko's ability to exercise even a sliver of patience, Kat didn't think on that previous interaction with her much. She was still very much trying to take care of business. While Akiko and perhaps some of the other store owners were grateful to her for chipping in, and while she was happy to do so, The Super Kitty was still very much on a schedule.
"Yikes." Katherine shuddered at the idea of having Kyoko hovering over her as she tried to navigate the store.
"Yeah, that's one date that I think I'll pass on. Good call. Thanks for the...very clear directions, Kyoko. I'll look for Kirie or Anka." The blonde beauty crossed her arms over one another. She slowly lifted her hand from this position to curl her index finger over her chin as she thought this over. The movements strained her form-fitting top, inadvertently highlighting her impressive core and biceps.
"I don't think the workers here are in the habit of wearing name tags. But I'll make due. After all, if Kyoko Akan of all people is being nice to me, I can be certain that you're in a position where you can't act freely. You're lucky I'm a woman of good moral fiber. A lesser lady would try to take advantage of you in this position." The masked woman would finish with a small, stifled giggle. She didn't know for sure that anyone else had come by and harassed Akan, but she had good enough reason to believe that very well may have been the case.
"See ya." Kat would wave as she made her way towards the stairs. Sure, the escalator would have worked just fine. But taking the stairs fell in line with Kyoko's directions and Kat wasn't one to shy away from cardio. After climbing them up to the highest floor, The Super Kitty made for the far corner. Surely, the short time it took her to go up the floors would have allowed Kirie and Kyoko to coordinate further remotely, without Kat's knowledge.
As she made her way deeper into the shoe department, Kat looked around. It was indeed isolated and quite out of the way, which was very uncharacteristic for a shoe department in any store.
"Hmmm there is something of a selection here....but it's really odd to me that there doesn't seem to be anyone around. Not even other shoppers....." Kat would think to herself aloud as she looked through the aisles of shoe racks to find where they kept the heels and pumps. She wasn't going to call out into the void for Kirie or Anka. Kat was hoping that if she couldn't find what she was looking for, surely two were diligent workers would take notice of a customer that could use an assist.

The words didn't hurt, nothing Kat could say could hurt she told herself but she still felt bitter by the assumption that she could only muster niceness when forced into it. "I'm not mean to everyone..." Kyoko muttered as she looked down down, for once not even noticing the way Kat's core was easy to define behind her skintight shirt in her slump. She once remembered a time that people seemed eager to greet her no matter who they were, with the only exceptions being the heels that hated everyone or some poor face she had beaten up because Kyoko Akan doesn't believe in taking it easy in the ring, and now Kat Hart who she had shared locker rooms with before seemed to think that such niceness was not in her. It was a reminder of just how much people seemed to think she changed, she actually began to wonder if it was a problem with her until she remembered a few other things, the snickers at her losing main event matches, some people she was polite to calling her a jobber to the stars when they thought she was out of earshot and many of those main event talent looking down on her ignoring her when they were on top but eager to face her when they needed a stepping stone to get back into the limelight. Was Kat Hart one of those people back then? She honestly couldn't say, even before LAW in an older promotion they only shared a few meetings and she didn't think any of them lasted more then 3 minutes in fact the longest one was the first one when Kat introduced herself to her out of the blue. Uneventful meetings but never bad ones, unlike now where it seemed even Kat struggled with keeping up polite tones and Kyoko...well everyone knew what her deal was. But so many people, Kat included seemed to do a 180 when she beat up a disrespectful wrestler in the ring, everyone saw how she treated her in the ring in trying to parade her body around and trying to take away her hard earned nickname all because Kyoko won the first of 3 falls, how she had only wanted to make her an example for someone else she had beef with and would just beat her and move like she was nothing. But when Kyoko struck back she struck back with downright sadistic glee, the fans booed, the wrestling star a former world champion was left broken and unconscious from the post match attack and everyone backstage looked at her like she lost her mind for being proud of herself. They didn't hide their words this time at least, now whatever they said they said it openly with only a few of Kyoko's friends actually bothering to ask if she was okay. Kat didn't say anything about that either but she imagined she was one of the many girls who felt like they could say whatever and now here she was the top talent of a new playground looking down on her just like she was, new place and little changes but the faces. Kat had already turned and left her alone but Kyoko in that short time had gone from annoyed to somber to angry, and now with nothing but time Kyoko had a choice, she could let this whole thing end for the day, Kat would be around some other day for Kyoko to drop and at least tonight would be mostly positive, or she could follow through on her new idea and burn any bridge that might form from this.
She made a beeline for Kirie before Kat was even out of sight, thankfully she was taking the stairs meaning Kyoko had about 3-5 minutes before Kat even got there depending on how fast she was moving and about 2 minutes before Kat would lose interest if no one showed up and just try a different store, give or take her level of patience which Kyoko couldn't calculate. As she expected Kirie was not at her assigned area but heading down the escalator when Kyoko stopped in front of her. "Hey how did you get up here and not fat-oww! owowo!" Kirie screamed when Kyoko grabbed her by the arm and yanked her back up the escalator, she nearly tripped over herself due to the thing naturally fighting any attempt to go back up, but somehow Kyoko pulled it off and dragged both of them to the top, even though Kirie saw the scuff marks on the back of her shoe and felt angry. "Are you cra-mmhh!" Kirie spoke but was stopped once again by Kyoko bringing her palm to her mouth and silencing her before she could really raise her voice. "1. I'll buy you new shoes if that's what you were about to bitch about. 2. I need your help and if you do it I will train you and get you into LAW." Kyoko said, her words making Kirie's eyes go wide with excitement and all her anger vanished in an instant. Fans, they were pretty easy to please. Kyoko let go and Kirie stood up wiping her mouth before speaking. "Okay but one question...why didn't you just use the escalator that went up that was right next to us? You almost fell back there." Kirie asked, a fair question and one Kyoko didn't have time to answer as she motioned for Kirie to follow which she did until they were at the the shoe section where Kat was almost up. Kirie's eyes lit up again and she let out a small gasp. "Oh god, oh fuck it's The Super Kitty! I haven't gotten her autograph yet. Are we saying hi? Wait is that it? Am I getting an autograph for you?" Kirie asked before Kyoko's glare at her made it clear that was a no. "Are you trying to get your ass kicked? Look, I need you to do something for me." Kyoko said before pushing Kirie into the area so they couldn't be seen and whispering her big plan. Kirie went from nodding along to confused to bug eyed before she pulled away. "Wait wait time out! I can't do all that, I'm a terrible liar she'll figure out I'm hiding something and leave and if it doesn't work I'll get my ass kicked. Plus if it does work whats to stop Kat from kicking my ass in the ring later? Or Aurora? Or Tracey? Or all 3 at once?! And what will happen to the store? I know we have the money now but a bad review from Kat could put us back to square one." Kirie asked clearly thinking about the consequences of these actions, all which Kyoko had already thought of but had no real solutions to. "If they go after you consider it free publicity, you want to be a wrestler right? Well if you want to be any good you'll end up fighting girls tougher than them along the way and you'll be trained by me so if you listen you'll do fine. As for the store you leave that to me, Kat's not the kind to leave a spiteful review so at most she'll just want to fight me in the ring, and that suits me just fine." Kyoko said, she didn't actually know if Kat would leave a bad review or not, but she was willing to say anything to get Kirie to agree. "It's easy just put these on her if she ever gets her arms in the right spot." Kyoko said handing the item to her while Kirie still looked nervous, by now Kat had made it to the top and was beginning to wonder why no service was being offered to her. "She wants shoes, how am I going to make her do anything with her hands?" Kirie asked another fair question and didn't get a fair answer. "Make something work get her to browse some more, your creative and...shit she's coming this way I gotta move if she sees us together it's over." Kyoko said, Kirie glanced back to see and could actually hear Kat coming when she looked back Kyoko was gone....she had never seen Kyoko move so quietly but it was clear when she was motivated little could stop her. She looked at the...item Kyoko left her and gulped before putting it in her pocket and stepping out before moving towards Kat.
"Hello Miss, I'm sooo sorry I was helping someone else and it seems Anka took now to make herself scarce how can I he-....Oh my god...it's you!" Kirie said doing her best to sound surprised to see Kat, at least being excited was easy enough because she wasn't faking. Actually nearly jumping out of her shoes when she realized how close she was to the genuine article. "I thought you were just a mega fan from afar but no one pulls off that mask like you do I-I-I...I'm sorry now isn't the time for that, your here as a customer and you require my service so I need to quiet the fan in me. Let me calm down and we can start over...whoooooo...okay, now....Welcome to Macaque's Athletics my name is Kirie how can I help you today?" Kirie said using the break to calm her own nerves, inside she was fidgeting like crazy and doing her best not to look Kat in the eye, afraid somehow the girl would see through the deception if they locked eyes she instead focused on her mouth instead so it at least looked like she was focused on her face and not her breasts...or abs...Or anything that would seem creepy or off putting, she could only hope this went well seeing as she had now risked her current job helping Kyoko.
There was no way for Kat to know that such deep, arguably powerful introspection was going on within Kyoko after she left the girl. The two of them didn't know each other very intimately, but there was history. Sharing locker rooms, appearing on the same cards of the same shows, hearing about one another through word of mouth and from other fans and wrestlers, maybe even occasionally watching each other's matches - Kat did try to watch other wrestler's matches whenever she could. Katherine Hart didn't pretend to know Kyoko any more deeply than she felt she needed to. Given their social media interactions, promo battle, and the war that followed that saw Kyoko, Ayame, and seemingly even Touka take on The Super Kitty, Kat could be confident that Kyoko wouldn't willingly choose to be nice to her, especially.
But even outside of the beef brewing between them, when you spend the last leg of your career rising up the ranks and getting noticed by explicitly not being nice to seemingly everyone around you bar family, who could blame others for not thinking you have any niceness in you? Kat certainly didn't expect any from Kyoko. In Hart's mind, the girl barely registered as a fellow wrestler or as someone worth her time or respect. To Hart, Akan was a far cry away from someone worthy of seeing any success at LAW or in pro wrestling in general. But Kat never whispered these thoughts to others behind Kyoko's back backstage or anywhere else.
In the same way that Kyoko didn't believe in holding back in the ring, Kat didn't believe in saying things behind people's backs that she couldn't say to them face to face. She didn't believe in the idea of being fated to be a jobber or a jobber to the stars or a stepping stone. Kat Hart was one of the top wrestlers at LAW and around the world and wrestlers try to make a stepping stone out of her every time she meets a possible opponent in or out of the ring!
No, Kat believed that in the process of retaliating against the most disrespectful, sadistic, and unsavory wrestlers that Kyoko could find, somewhere along the line Kyoko became the very same type of competitor that she was so eager to put down. And that was the type of person that Kat couldn't be bothered to give the time of day. That was the type of person that Kat believed had no business in the ring, let alone rising to any sort of prominence in the business. That....was a sham of a professional wrestler. That was Kyoko Akan.
And yet, despite meeting her here like this, despite not knowing that other LAW women had already stopped by and taken the opportunity to mess with Macaque's, mess with the workers, the merchandise, to mess with Kyoko, herself, Katherine Hart did not follow suit. Despite harboring these emotions and feeling this way, she didn't tell Kyoko off, nor did she attack The Belly Queen. Because to Kat, being a professional wrestler meant being an athlete and a person that others could look up to
It meant being a person that fans and other wrestlers could aspire to be like someday. To Kat, it meant conducting herself in a better manner than seeking revenge on someone while they were working an odd job.
Kat felt no urge to take anything out on Kyoko in a setting where Kyoko was clearly occupied and arguably stifled. There was no pride or honor to be had in getting revenge on someone that wouldn't and couldn't fight her fair and square. Hart simply carried on doing what she needed to do, and for a brief moment, she facilitated what would likely be the first and last case Katherine Hart and Kyoko Akan being in agreement and cohesive about something: helping Kat shop for what she needed and leave her be. Maybe leave a nice tip on the way out.
Kat's ears perked up upon hearing an excited gasp in the distance, but she paid it no mind. She redirected her attention and continued to peruse the shoe aisles. She'd have loved to have seen the playful and silly antics between Kyoko and Kirie, but Kat would have to remain out of the loop on that one. As she turned down the second aisle of boots, she was approached by a cute, petite girl that she'd deduce to be Kirie.
"Heyyyyy! It's me! You're friendly neighborhood Super Kitty haha" Kat giggled and waved with a wide smile on her face, still always happy and willing to meet a fan. Kirie's reaction was genuine and endearing. Kat very slightly blushed. When Kirie nearly jumped out of her shoes, Kat made sure to place both hands on the gal's shoulders to prevent her from falling. She giggled all the while.
"I'm surprised you were able to recognize me so fast! You'd be shocked to know how many folks just assume that I AM a megafan in a Kat mask. Makes it really easy to go about my business sometimes, hehe~" Kat replied. She let go and smiled with her eyes closed as Kirie composed herself. The girl went on to introduce herself and fully settle down so that she offer her assistance.
"Great to meetcha! And no worries about Anka! A certain....someone told me to come up and look for either of you for help if I couldn't find what I was looking for. Lexy Alan's hosting a pretty big interview soon. I'm supposed to star in it with Alaina Sanders and silly me, I put together a super cute, super sexy outfit, but I somehow don't have red heels handy. I know it's an athletics store but a coworker of yours told me you guys have pumps? Hopefully on the more formal side of heels? If not, that's totally cool. I can Google map the nearest high-end store. But I do love supporting local businesses! The lady that runs this place seems so nice, too!"
Kat did like to talk. Thankfully, as she spoke, she gestured as well, directing her attention away from Kirie. It was a subtle skill she had picked up to help unnerve fans and other folks that might be starstruck like Kirie. Yet another quality that made Kat feel approachable despite being a larger than life figure in pro wrestling. Even if Kirie did choose to ogle her in her skin-tight shirt and jeans, Kat played it off like she didn't even notice at this point.

Kirie had a thousand thoughts a minute, mostly the fear of what would happen should she screw this up since Kat looked like she could she could throw her out the window with ease. Kat's niceness didn't calm her fears, she had seen her in action and knew what she was capable of doing to fully skilled girls, which stayed in her mind just as much as every word Kat was saying. Pumps surprised her and Kirie took a second to think about it before she snapped here fingers. "Yeah we have pumps in red! Just follow me please." Kirie said escorting Kat along, when she mentioned Akiko Kirie saw a chance to do some damage control. "Ms. Akiko's great, she's basically a local hero around these parts. Not only does she run this store with in my biased opinion fair prices but she always gives back to the community around here, even as other places closed down because of larger stores. She even used to design wrestling gear as her main source of income before she started only doing it for certain people or those who come here just to request it, bet she'd make you look fabulous if you offered." Kirie said, telling herself if she put in a good word for her Akiko wouldn't be caught in the crossfire by Kat should this plan actually work. She scanned the area making sure Kyoko wasn't in sight because she knew if Kat so much as caught a whiff of her she'd grow suspicious. No sign of her and so she walked right to where the shoes were with one standout red with long heels on full display but by itself, Kirie grabbed it and showed it off.
"We have ones like this, I actually think this one here is around your size but if not we have other sizes of the same kind." Kirie said handing it off to Kat to try on or inspect if she liked. "If you like it just let me know and I'll go get a pair for you." Kirie added fully in work mode. Kyoko had taken position around the corner and checked the time to make sure Anka would stay gone, thankfully around this time Anka would be out for 10-15 more minutes for lunch and sometimes took another 5 minutes getting back, they just needed around 5 to get Kat her pumps and then Kirie could start showing Kat elsewhere until they sprung the trap. Everything was going according to plan, at least that's what Kyoko felt, Kirie was doing everything she could to not shake or sweat from nervousness as she stared down the large and sexy masked wrestler in front of her.
The buxom, brawny luchadora followed along as Kirie escorted her. She was happy to be engaged in conversation, though her efforts seemed to do anything but calm the store associate. Still, the luchadora followed along. Kat was very pleased to hear that Kyoko didn't lie to her about Macaque's having pumps. And she was even more relieved to hear that Miss Akiko went to such lengths to give back to the community and to good causes despite the store not exactly being the most successful entity in fashion and wrestling attire.
"That's all very good to know. You know, as I look around the store, it's plain to see that she was definitely a costume designer that worked on wrestling gear. Makes me wonder if I've wrestled people she's made attire for." Kat would note as she looked around whilst following Kirie.
"I didn't realize she went out of her way to chip in for the local community. You working for her tirelessly like this really speaks to your character as well, Kirie. As a current pro wrestling champion, LAW's paying me a pretty penny. Maybe I oughta consider donating to Macaque's to make sure it stays afloat and to make sure Akiko can continue to support her local area while doing what she loves."
It hadn't dawned on Kat that Kirie's songs of praises about the store owner was all a front. A purely tactical maneuver to try and deflect The Super Kitty's ire away from Akiko if and when her conspiring with Kyoko succeeded.
As the two neared the heels section, Kirie snatched one up to show Kat. The luchadora held it in her hands. She eyed it curiously and held onto it for a moment to think it over.
"Hmmmm, you know I've got a problem when I spend time thinking over how well I can wrestle in these." Kat would say with a dopey smile.
"I get that they're meant more for show but if you have anything similar with a shorter heel, I'll happily take it! Fingers crossed that your size 9's aren't in short supply, haha."
Kyoko loomed and brooded nearby, hoping and praying that all went according to plan. But that didn't stop Kat from being friendly and endearing with the fan she had the pleasure of meeting and getting assistance from.
