A Rookies Resolve: Tara Jaeger vs Ai Sakurai

[Bare]

Tara successfully managed to roll over and send a kick to Sakurai’s side making the girl back off from her earning a sigh of relief from Tara as she sat up. But there was no rest for the wicked as they said, as almost immediately the younger girl was upon her again. Narrowing her eyes as she saw her descend Tara was quick to roll to the side the moment the rookie was airborn in krder to allow her to crash into the mat where she was previously. If she was successful with this Tara would try to kip up to her feet and dash at the now downed Sakurai, raising her leg and attempting a stomp to the center of the girl’s back!

Ai's elbow came down as she aimed it directly at Tara's breasts but much to Ai's horror, Tara was not there to receive the impact. Instead Ai hit the mats, hard. She let out a soft grunt of pain and frustration, and then a louder groan when Tara came back hurried and stomped her back, making Ai grimace in pain.

Ai rolled on her side, trying to get away from Tara and put some distance between herself and her opponent, one hand rubbing her back as she got up to her knees, trying to get in a better position to defend herself.

After her foot crsshed into Ai’s back making the younger girl cry out in pain Tara would smirk a bit smugly as she crossed her arms. Watching as the girl rolled away Tara smirked and slowly approached her as the younger girl worked her way to her feet. ”Well kid you’re not doing badly so thats a plus!” She said in a purposely patronizing tone to the girl as she bent her knees a bit. ”How are you doing so far good? Need a breather?” she asked playfully to the girl, waiting to see how she’d react.

Ai got back up to her feet while Tara taunted her, as usual she remained quiet. Her only reaction to her opponent's taunts was a frown and a determined look in her eyes. Then she charged at Tara, trying to cut the distance between them and strike before Tara could uncross her arms and get ready to fight again.

As soon as she was close enough Ai took it to the air, jumping up and stretching her lite body horizontally, pushing her heels forward towards Tara's chest, trying to hit her hard with a flying missile drop kick.

Tara continued to smirk confidently as she taunted the young girl before her while she attempted to pull herself up to her feet. However as Ai remained silent Tara found herself narrowing her eyes in annoyance that the girl wasn’t responding to a single thing she said. After all what the hell did it take to provoke a reaction from her? As she was thinking this though Ai had gotten to her feet and proceeded to dash at Tara far faster than Tara was expecting. Standing back up fully herself she raised her arms and barely managed to block the dropkick from the younger girl! But the force of the dropkick and her poor defense meant Tara still took damage making her wince as she was launched backwards, landing flat on her back with a grunt as she held her chest in pain.

Ai landed hard on the mats after executing the drop kick, but hers was more of a controlled fall. Unlike Tara's that fell flat on her back and with loud thud and after taking a hard double kick. Though Tara had managed to block most of the impact with her arms, Ai was sure her loudmouth opponent should have taken some damage from the move. What was more important is that Tara was now on the ground and vulnerable, and Ai knew this was her chance to deliver some punishment to her rival.

Ai pushed herself back to her feet quickly, trying to take advantage of Tara's state, and moved towards her rival's legs. Silent as always, Ai grabbed Tara's left leg and pulled it up, trying to capture her rival's foot under her armpit and then she tried to roll Tara over at the same time she stepped over her, aiming to put Tara face down and trap her with a single leg standing crab.

Tara groaned as she rubbed her chest in pain following that dropkick from Ai. Despite managing to block it for the most part the sheer force of it had still floored her and sent pain resonating through her chest and left her arms numb. Definitely a devastating impact that left her dazed and worst of all vulnerable. Before she had a chance to get up Tara felt her leg pulled up and immediately her eyes widened in realization at what the rookie was looking for. "Whoa! Hey whoa no! aghhhh nooo!!!" Tara at first was yelling out in protest but as she was rolled over and her leg pulled back she ended up crying out in pain from the single legged boston crab!

Ai secured Tara's leg, placing the foot under her armpit and then stepped back, dragging that leg that she now had under control further back, and then slowly sat down on the middle of Tara's back. With her opponent's leg and the position secured Ai began to work the hold, leaning back to test the limits of Tara's flexibility. This was a good hold to put some pressure on her opponent and start working the leg, but Ai knew it was not going to be enough to win her the match. Any way she had no reason to let Tara go, so she kept working the hold for as long as she could.

If there was any almost universally despised wrestling hold in the world it was the god damn boston crab, and even worse its very near cousin the single leg boston crab. The main reason for the universal distaste for them was how god damn effective they were and how damn easy they are to lock in effectively to the point that any rookie could do this move. That was the situation Tara found herself in right now as her leg was being pulled back painfully in the dreaded hold. The only saving grace was Tara's natural flexibility playing to her advantage, but it didn't make things any easier to deal with as shown by Tara's groans of pain. None the less there were few ways out of such a hold, and for Tara the easiest way was staring her right in the face as she began dragging her self forward with her hands towards the ropes, trying to reach the bottom for a rope break!

With her opponent firmly trapped, Ai worked the hold. Ai quickly noticed how flexible Tara was, but that only meant she had to pull the leg harder and bend her back some more, and it wasn't long before she had her opponent in pain. Punishing the leg was a great way to slow down an opponent, but Ai wasn't sure yet if she should focus on Tara's legs to try to get the submission. She wanted to punish different parts of Tara's body first before deciding on which to lock on.

Tara was very strong and eventually reached the bottom rope. Ai wasn't surprised at all as she pretty much expected that to be the outcome. She let go of Tara's leg and stood up, turning around and facing Tara again, waiting for her to get up to get back to wrestling.
