Taking a Step towards Stardom: Yuri Matsumoto vs Chika Igarashi

Yuri figured that the initial burst of moves wouldn't be enough to put down the vet, but crazier things had happened before. With Chika quickly kicking out of the pin attempt, Yuri was first to get to her feet and looked to lift Chika up -- and attempted to give the vet a scoop slam. If successful, Yuri would then run to the ropes and rebound to deliver a jumping elbow to Chika's chest.

Right as Chika kicked out, Yuri was ready for her, lifting her off the floor into her arms. The Raven Knight desperately tried to kick her feet in the air, trying to make her rival lose balance and flip onto her feet, but it proved fruitless as Yuri planted Chika into the canvas with authority!

"AAAUGH!"

The younger wrestler then took her time to get to the ropes for a rebound, before jumping upwards into midair. Despite the ache in her spine, at the last moment, Chika would use her own elbow to flip away from Yuri's attack, leaving the younger woman to impact the canvas with her elbow!

[Faeron]

Yuri hoped to land on a body and instead hit the canvas, wincing as there was now a tingly feeling in her her arm. She got up to her feet and started to shake her arm while inadvertently giving her back to Chika.

With both women back on their feet, it was Yuri who was the one at a disadvantage, with her back to her foe. Smirking in spite of the punishment inflicted on her, Chika was quick to ensnare her foe from behind, trapping her in a momentary waistlock...

...before lifting her off her feet into the air, and planting her on her neck and shoulders with a perfect arc for a Bridging German Suplex, subsequently keeping the bridge and pinning her rival!

[Faeron]

Yuri barely had time to react before she was suddenly lifted into the air, yelping loudly and then slammed into the mat as Chika completed the suplex. With both shoulders down, the referee got to her knees and started the count.

"ONE!" "TWO!"

Yuri kicked out right as the ref's hand slapped the mat for the second time, landing on her side as she tried to recover.

The pin after the German Suplex was fairly difficult to kick out of, so Chika didn't fault Yuri in kicking out at 2. She twisted to the side, allowing her shoulder up, and for both women to fall on their side. With Yuri getting the worst of the suplex, Chika would rise before her, rushing to the ropes while Yuri made her way back to her feet...

...before jumping and trying to slam her legs into the woman's chest with a Dropkick the moment she got up!

Yuri got to her feet, only to take a sudden drop kick to the chest. Feeling the wind get forced out of her, Yuri once more fell to the mat: this time taking a bit longer to get back up as she was slightly winded now.

[Vc0m]

Chasing Yuri after her dropkick, Chika wasn't about to let her younger rival recover without punishment. She seized her waist from the back, deadlifting her from the floor, wowing the audience with impressive demonstration of strength...

...before bridging and driving her rival's neck and shoulders into the floor with a German Suplex!

[Faeron]

Yuri shook off the cobwebs just long enough to see her being deadlifted by the smaller wrestler before being spiked into the mat. As Chika completed the pin, the referee slid onto their knees and started counting the fall.

"ONE....TWO...!"

Yuri was flailing her legs until she was able to kick out of the pin attempt at the two count. Falling onto her side, she rolled to a seated position as she moved to a knee and attempted to take down Chika with a quick lariat.

The pin yielded a two before Yuri kicked out, both women falling on their sides, trying to rise quickly. Chika had an advantage at the moment...one she lost very quickly to a swift Lariat to her face!

"MGUUUGH!!!", she screamed as she fell down onto the mat, clutching her hurting face!
