Friends Share! - Navi vs. Domino

Drake wasn't holding out too much hope that she'd be pinned yet. That submission hold he'd had her in was a doozy, and lasted way longer than one normally might, but he hadn't put her through too much abuse just yet. So when he feels her twist and push up that arm, he receives the news with a smirk.

"Alright. Have it your way!"

He lifts to his knees and takes her by the shoulder and hip to attempt rolling her over onto her stomach. Once there, his leg swings around to mount her lower back just above her rear. Hands reach for her wrists to secure over his knees, then link together just beneath her chin to pull back and force her upper-body to arch between his thighs in a classic camel clutch!

With what Drake said, Navi immediately knew what her obsidian haired opponent had in mind, as he twisted her on to her stomach...

...and despite that, the loudmouthed blonde shouted to him: "Try me!", in an angry voice, grunting as he took a sit on her back. She was still feeling the aftermaths of the neckbreaker, and as such, was unable to do anything as Drake locked her arms at his knees, and took a hold of her chin, pulling up, and trapping the blonde in a picture perfect Camel Clutch!

"GRRRAAAAAAAAAH!", Navi screamed, feeling Domino's wait pressing into the middle of her spine, all the while pulling the top of it up, bending it as much as he could without the danger of breaking it, but big enough to cause massive strain on it to hurt like hell. Navi cringed in pain, with Melody ever so timely approaching her:

"Navi, do you..."

"SHUT UP!!!", she screamed in her friend's face, trying to survive the pain of the hold as best as she could. She tried to get her arms out of Drake's trap, knowing that, if she is to escape, this had to be the first step to do that...

There's something almost delicious about hearing Navi protest in outrage after the lip she'd given him. He steadily pulls back a little further on her head, trying to test her limits without breaking them - or her! - in the process. Were there an audience for this, they'd be treated to a heck of a show of Navi's chest and abs!

"You sure about that? Sure you don't wanna just make it easier on yourself and have a little..." He tries to pull a smidge further. "..humble pie?"

The problem with pulling too far is that is creates slack on the victim's arms; more wiggle room. And Navi successfully works her arms free of his legs. He's made peace with the idea that she's going to get out of the hold, but he's going to milk it for all it's worth until she does!

"Better ask again, Melody!"

Continuing to taunt and torture her with the hold, Drake increased the torque on the move, pretty much trying to bend Navi into the C-shape, her screams getting louder and louder as the pain in her spine was contorted more and more. Even her stomach and chest were starting to hurt as they were stretched far beyond what they should've been!

...at the same time, she felt her arms getting some room, realizing amidst pain that she was able to free them!

"Navi, do you...!", Melody tried to ask again at Drake's request, stopping mid-sentence as she saw what Navi was trying to do!

Hooking her arms at Drake's hands, Navi pulled her legs towards her, trying to get up to a crouch, before fully extending herself, attempting to lift Drake up with her as she stood up! If Domino tried to keep the hold in place, Navi would quickly force him to release it, by dropping backwards, and sandwiching him between herself and the canvas!

Drake smirks as the shrieks reach a new pitch, testimony of the effectiveness of the hold. But the indulgence is short-lived as Melody asks for the submission, and Navi answers in a fresh level of belligerence.

"Hff-!," grunts Drake as his legs are taken out from under him - along with his blonde cushion - and he winds up flat on his back on the mat. But not only that, but the cushion has turned things around on him! Her toned form lands squarely atop his body, earning a brief stun!

"Ghhhh...yeah...take that...you...you...heavy idiot...", Navi let out in-between tired breaths, rolling off of Drake and lying down on the ring canvas, as she held her hurt back, unable to get to her feet for now, the only offence that was available to her being verbal...but barely so, growling at herself quietly as she wasn't able to efficiently follow up on her counter.

Melody, meanwhile, stood above the two fighters, growing worried that they haven't gotten to their feet, even though quite a few seconds have passed: "Do you guys maybe wanna take a break, or..."

"I am fine...", Navi grunted, getting her right foot on the ground, trying to push herself up with the help of her right knee: "Don't know about him but I am ready to continue", she would finish, looking at Drake, allowing him to fairly get to his feet.

Domino... is not so likely to stay down that long. After all, Navi had only just flopped onto him. He's taken a few hits in the match, including a German suplex, but he's far from gassed. Besides, he's not fresh off of a submission hold; granted the last one he was in was rough. But by the time Melody is asking if they want a break, Domino is already gathering himself up to his feet with a smirk. "Nope. And-"

He moves in close to her and pivots at the hip, aiming to slam a shin kick against Navi's chest as she's pushing up with her knee.

"-I'm fine!"

Navi should've capitalized on her opening. Domino isn't holding back on her at this point, and he isn't necessarily trying to do things for her benefit any longer, but that is a lesson he could impart on her if she's to go all the way in that tournament!

As Navi tried to get to her feet, Drake would already gather himself up, Navi growling as Domino did so, especially after her taunt against her opponent...

Worse yet, right as she was almost up to a full stand, the obsidian haired wrestler launched his foot right into Navi's chest, the blonde barely managing to keep her current position!

"GAAAAAH!"

Seeing the move unfold, Melody believed that this supposed "spar" was as much a "spar" as Melody's fight with Drake was. The two of them were going at it, not holding back at all.

"Umm...guys? I think you shouldn't let things go too fa----"

"GRAAAAAAAAAH!!!!"

With a loud roar drowning out Melody;s voice, trying to calm the 2 fighters down, she rushed to her feet to a stand, her right hand curled into a fist, as she attempted to launch a hard Uppercut to Drake's jaw!

Domino didn't need her to stand. She was fine where she was. And if that kick to her chest would keep her frozen with pain, all the better. He could rush back to the ropes, then run her down with something harder, like a charging dropkick. That'll probably start down the road of a finisher, and this... spar? Whatever it is, can be settled!

Domino takes a step back, and pauses at the sound of a roar. That's... distinctly unlady-like. The punch that follows is even worse! His teeth *clak* at the impact, head whipping to the side and sent into a stunned stagger!

Navi managed to fight through the pain in her chest after Drake's kick, raising to her feet and managing to stun her opponent with a hard uppercut!

Quickly seizing the opportunity, Navi would quickly lay her arm across Domino's chest, grabbing at his shoulder, before attempting to take him off his feet, and down into the canvas with a hard Uranage!

Not wasting any time, Navi laid on top of Drake's chest, hooking his leg, rasping a loud: "COUNT!" order at Melody.

Hesitantly, considering how much the "spar" devolved, and as much as she wished for it to come to an end, Melody complied with her friend's wishes, dropping to her knees, and attempting to count the fall!
