A Witchy Debut! Marissa Valentine vs Mina Piper!

If Marissa was awake, she’d probably tell Mina not to worry about it. If the roles were reversed.. she would have fretted, but instead of CPR, splashed water onto Mina’s face. But as it stood, there she lay sprawled on her back, unconscious.

Normally a medical team would help her out, but Mina took matters into her own hands. First she would shake the unresponsive body to practically no effect like a ragdoll, then Mina proceeded to pinch her nose and press her lips to hers in a CPR position! She began to blow air into her lungs.. which wasn’t exactly what you do to an unconscious person I believe..

But the CPR shocked her body enough, causing Marissa to twitch. Her eyes flew open as she’d gasp for air, realising her lips were pressed to Mina’s.. her cheeks red at the realisation. She quickly pushed Mina’s mouth away and began to take in fresh air from her lungs, smacking her own chest a bit..!

A splash of water or a paper fan might have been another comical alternative, but her unstable mind led to the resorting these physical procedures instead. The referee while a little stunned was in the process of calling for help if nothing did happen in the next minute.

Nothing came from Marissa's mouth after a little shaking and yelling. If it weren't for Mina loudly declaring her intentions as well as body language, the spectators would have assumed this was just your average LAW match intimacy. Having only paid basic attention to health class, the pinkette should consider herself lucky that the situation didn't worsen thanks to her actions.

Everything paid off as those golden pupils could be visible once again, resulting in a little shove that separated the two. Mina's cheeks also looked quite flush, mostly from the constant blowing, so she partaken in a similar act of inhaling deeply to refill her oxygen supply. Once she fully caught her breath, the pinkette would crawl beside the defeated wrestler looking tense. "I am really, really, REALLY sorry for knocking you out! I really messed up in the end did I? And you were supposed to slap me!" A frown being drawn on her face, believing she deserved punishment.

“I-I’m.. not gonna slap you!! I lost fair and square..! Stop being so grumpy about it.. it’s my fault I got knocked out anyways..!”

She huffed, looking at Mina with a slight grumble. She saw the look of guilt on her face and didn’t want to be the cause of it again! She’d slide her hand up and pat her on the head, her cheeks red..

“Miss Mina.. I’m fine. Don’t worry..!”

Mina's mind froze upon hearing the newcomer's exhausted response, like a computer suddenly needing to boot up. How on earth it could be the blonde's fault for trying to win the match with a move that had low-physical risk on its own? It seemed both were just blaming themselves for the sake of their friend's well being.

Feeling Marissa's hand was just the treatment she needed to loosen up. "Alright...I guess I didn't hurt you that bad! But I PROMISE It won't ever happen again!" Crossing her heart with a hand gesture, believing she'd rather not be in the ring than break this vow. She then remembered about what she intended to do post-match. "We still have fans watching us right? How about we give them a little encore?" A warm smile plastered on her face, offering a helping hand for the blonde to stand once again.

“Sheesh Mina! I’m bound to be knocked out a few times, probably even by you after this..! That’s what I signed up for..!”

She had a slight pout on her lips, crossing her arms, a slightly grumpy demeanour.

“I’m no fragile doll.. h-huh?” The fans.. right! How could she forget! Taking Mina’s hand, she hoisted her still somewhat shaky form to her feet, lifting up her fist. She pumped it in the air and grinned..

“I.. I guess we did have a fantabulous match, didn’t we?”

Mina was more than aware of the 'sports' aspect of sports entertainment and obviously how the core way to win is making sure a wrestler can't move their shoulders for 3 seconds. "True. Asleep for 20 seconds? That's cool. Asleep for 20 hours? I would have got a heart attack and sleep too!...maybe my brain is full of nuts today" Admitting that her paranoia was more than exaggerated.

Ignoring Marissa's grumpy face, she gave the blonde an opportunity to bask in the spotlight after a decent debut match. "Fantabsolutely! They loved us! And definitely want to see you make a comeback! HERE SHE IS!" Pointing at her friend so the crowd could direct their adoration, while she was held up by her other hand. The match aftermath was enough to fuel Mina's enthusiasm once again until Marissa wished to take her exit.

She was dragged up to her feet, before smiling. Marissa was introduced to the crowd again, to an encore of cheers. For her first match, she wasn’t that bad and seemed to have gained a fan base already! Her cheeks flushed slightly, as she’d lean against Mina and nod..

“T-thanks for the fun debut, M-Mina!!” Slightly stunned by the show of support from both the crowd and her opponent, she’d release her hold from Mina’s hand and scarper down the ring, before double backing. She’d go and get her hat, dusting it off and firmly jamming it back to her head, feeling much more secure now.

Along with Mina's overall enjoyment, she managed to earn yet another win, so if the positive reception wasn't enough then the higher ups had little reason to give the pinkette more room to take part in exciting endeavours. On top of that, her new friend didn't feel like a side character, due to now absorbing some of the applause presently.

Marissa's stammering was so adorable, almost empowering enough to warrant another hug. Most of the bulletpoints for a great Mina Piper day were filled, but something felt missing. Every moment she glanced at the blonde's face, something felt missing.

It was the hat. "Hmmmmmm?....OHHHHH!" Mina spouted upon realisation. If the witch forgotten, then so would have the senior. She towards near the apron, slipping in between the higher ropes.

"Good thing we don't have to redo your debut! Remember to be wicked every day now champ!" Some final words of encouragement for the younger wrestler just before they give the stage to another athlete or two.

Marissa heeded Mina’s words and nodded. She’d lean down and give a rather Victorian style bow, before groaning softly. She was still somewhat bruised and while basking in the praise from the crowd was nice.. Marissa needed to get some rest. She’d stagger to her feet, before walking dow the ramp, one hand to her side and waving to the crowd..!!

“Byee guys!! Bye Mina, I hope to see you again, soon!”

And with that, she exited the arena, her first official match, over.

Her message now delivered, all Mina had left to do was see Marissa off. At first she was a bit concerned by her friend wincing, but it seemed to be just minor exhaustion that could be remedied by some rest. "Bye Marissa! Hope we have a fantabulous rematch!" Gifting the blonde one last wave before she disappeared from view.

Now eyes were all on Mina Piper. "Thank you for coming around to see the marvellous show! I'll see you around soon but for now...goo-Sayonara!" She abruptly put her hands together and followed by bowing. Afterward she arched her body and gave the spectators a final round of waves, while simultaneously slipping in between the ropes. She continued this act when strolling up the ramp, pivoting her head around constantly. The match now officially over, both wrestlers would eventually leave the crowd's sight. Mina can sleep well knowing she made the day of at least hundreds of people.
