A Test of Endurance... [Sophia & Alaina]

Sophia was content to be left alone for the time being. As much as she enjoyed sharing the company of one of her childhood heroes, given all that had been happening to her since her arrival in the LAW, she did not wish to burden Alaina with her current woes as it where. It seemed Alaina was not willing to accept this however. Sophia was taken off guard when Alaina's attitude shifted suddenly. The Amazon no longer danced around the issue... instead, she simply began to take command, and it seemed Sophia did not have a say in the matter.

Sophia was about to rise when Alaina walked behind her, but felt firm hands grasp her bare shoulders, before guiding her back down to sit firmly upon the bench.
"I do not think th..." Sophia began to speak, but soon Alaina was speaking over her, already laying out plans for the rest of the evening. There was no suggestion, no request... Alaina began to simply state what was going to happen next, and apparently she was going to go and watch her fight in the Main Event tonight.

What came next took Sophia off guard, and she couldn't help but blush a little from the initial grip of Alaina's hand against her shoulders. Given she wore only a strapless sports bra, matching boy shorts with a towel loosely around her hips, Sophia was not expecting such contact from Alaina when her hands smoothly began to slide over her shoulders. A sharp pain began to dig into her shoulder muscles, making Sophia wince as Alaina's grip tightened on her sore and worn shoulder, feeling her fingers and her thumb dig deep against the sinew.

It hurt at first, making Sophia tense initially... but as the seconds past, that initial discomfort slowly began to diminish, and the pain would ease as the muscles in her shoulder relaxed. Slowly her hands began to work down her back, making Sophia gasp again. There was a lot of tension and knots that needed to be worked out, and once again the initial massage against her back brought significant pain. Sophia bit on her lower lip, but again slowly noticed the difference with each passing second.

In truth... she had never had a massaged before. The sensation was completely new to her. Usually when she was touched, it was in the ring, and it was normally rival wrestlers trying to strike, slam, bend, stretch or squeeze the life out of her. This was... pleasant... relaxing even. When Alaina touched her soft skin, it was clear the poor woman needed a lot of work, but a quick patch job would certainly be better than nothing. Sophia began to ease, her form becoming more relaxed, and for a moment at least, her mind was no longer on despair.

For the moment Sophia did not know what to say or how to respond to Alaina... but it was clear her form was becoming more relaxed, and quietly, Sophia was thankful for the attention she was getting. It was something she was unaccustomed too.

After a few moments Alaina looked around and stopped the back rub. "All right, I do have to head out to get ready for my match. Do you want to join me ringside or just wait in the back for me to finish before we head out to do something to help get your mind off things?" Alaina asked, wondering what Sophia would say. She really did hope Sophia would want to go somewhere, anything to help her be distracted. The gym, bowling, Alaina wasn't sure what she would prefer but Alaina would be pretty much able to do whatever as Charlie was at home with the kids. Her only time constraint was getting home in time to put the kids to bed.

Sophia's back and her shoulders felt a world better. Whatever magic Alaina had in her hands had certainly managed to ease the worse of the knots of tension. Having near been bearhugged to submission in her last match in what was a rather perverse style of the classic hold, her spine had been on fire and felt like daggers had been lodged into her vertebrae. In a few minutes, Alaina had eased the worse of the woes in her back, relaxed her muscles and made the pain reduce to nothing more than a manageable ache. The poor girl still needed work for certain, but it was a step in the right direction.

"T... thank you." Sophia spoke out with gratitude, not being able to help but blush a little given she was not used to such soothing and relaxing contact. Her spirits were lifted, even if it was just a little. It was clear the younger wrestler was still not in a fantastic place, but Alaina's massage had certainly made a difference in perking her up a little.
"I... I would like to watch you wrestle... perhaps just in the stands... if that is alright with you?" Sophia whispered, turning to look upon Alaina. She had watched the Amazon fight and wrestle a thousand times... but it had never occurred to Sophia that she had never had a chance to watch her wrestle live in the audience.

As a child she could never afford it, as a teenager she was too busy, as a young woman she had simply lost her way until these new days. The thought of watching the Amazon live... simply sitting amongst the fans to watch a legend at work. That prospect perked her up more as she managed the smallest yet most genuine of smiles.
"I would like that a lot." Sophia added with a bit more confidence in her voice finally returning.
