Training in Progress

Reaching out with a quick motion, Ducky would manage to stop Lauren's progress towards her corner, halting the bigger blonde as she tried to catch up to her, knowing that a tag to Kat now would surely spell disaster for her and Erin! Ducky struggled against Lauren to stop her, and took some of the kicks that Lauren threw her way as she kept her hold on her opponent, before beginning to slide up towards Lauren, moving upwards and suddenly slipping a leg around Lauren's own, trapping the limb before laying across her stablemate's back!

"Sorry Lauren, but I'm not gonna let you tag out!" Ducky grunted, lacing her fingers across Lauren's chin and suddenly wrenching back hard to lock her friend in an STF!

Lauren was stuck and her strikes failed to create the distance she needed as Ducky held on! Soon the STF was locked in and the loud screams of pain bursting forth from Lauren echoed throughout the gym!

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Lauren howled as she began feverishly tapping out submitting after a few agonizing moments in the hold! "L-et Go!" Lauren pleaded as she was submitting, hurting and in even more pain as she felt like she had completely let her team down as the weak link.

"Atta girl Ducky! Give her a little extra for me." Erin cheered on as she watched the blonde secure the hold. She was in no hurry to get back to her feet though as it seemed that Lauren quickly submitted to give the middleweights the win. Erin would get up to her knees and smile, giving Ducky a big thumbs up before sticking her tongue out at Kathrine. "Middleweights best weights." She'd tease before wobbling back to her feet and giving Ducky and Lauren some distance

Sinking in her STF, Ducky would put all that she had into the submission hold, feeling the need to end the match here and ensure that Kat didn't make it back into the ring, wrenching hard on Lauren in order to completely decimate her in the hold! And after a brief struggle, her desperate submission would work, with Lauren finally tapping out and giving a pleading submission, Ducky releasing her friend and stablemate as soon as she tapped, rolling off and ending up lying on the ring beside Lauren!

"Whew... hoooooo... Did it!" Ducky proclaimed between breaths, chest heaving as she caught herself and rolled over, propping herself up onto her hands and knees, making sure Lauren was okay while looking over to flash Kiera a smile, and stick her tongue out at Kat in cheeky fashion!

Having seen her partner get wrapped up tightly in Williams' STF hold, Kat began to duck between the ropes! The Super Kitty had just emerged from her corner, but before she could run in to make the save, Lauren had tapped in mere seconds! Kat could only frown at Erin, who joked about it.

"Middleweights meanest weights more like it." Hart would grumble as she made her way over to Lauren and knelt beside her to check on her.

"Lauren, how are you holding up? You did great out there. You held out a while. I'm so sorry I didn't get to you in time." Kat would say as she took Lauren's hand and tried to help the heavyweight up. She knew Lauren would be as discouraged as she was pained right now. Kat did what she could to provide moral support. It didn't take her long to notice that Ducky wasn't too tired to tease as well.

"Quiet you!" Kat would say as she kicked at Ducky (intentionally not making contact) to brush the cheeky gesture off.

Lauren smiled and nodded as Kat helped her up. "Yeah, I am good I guess. I mean I am the only undercard wrestler here so I sort of figured I would be the one to get pinned in all this, I just didn't think I'd fold so easily." Lauren said as she hobbled about on limp legged steps trying to recover. "I have a lot of work to do huh?" She said, realizing fully that she did have a lot of progress to make if she were going to be the level of wrestler that the other three women present were.

"So... that was really something. Maybe solo spars or just some technical work next time?" Lauren asked after a moment wondering what her training would be like in the future.
