Mio Hayasaka vs. Mura Mitsuko - An action-packed middleweight bout

Unread post by Zeva »

Mio Hayasaka vs. Mura Mitsuko
Match Type: Standard
Victory Conditions: Pinfall, Submission, Count out, K.O.

After an unfriendly debut with his tag team, it was time for her first official fight in a single match, Mitsuko was excited to finally be able to show the fruits of years of training and confident in her strength and talent she hoped to score a victory, with great expectations she left the locker room.

Although the months before she entered L.A.W. she was focused solely on training her partner, she was confident of being in good shape, at least enough to beat any jobber, well she didn't know much about her rival so couldn't assure that she was a jobber, even if Hayasaka had lost her debut that could be due to many things... In the images Mitsuko saw it was evident that she had a physical state equal to or greater than hers... Did his gloves signify a preference for strikes? That would be a problem as she preferred to approach to perform submissions and other grabs.

"Why am I even thinking about such silly stuff? Of course I will win!" When she got to the ring she decided to stop trying to analyze a fighter that she hadn't even seen head-on, in fact, it was better that way, against a stranger she would have no regrets in using any kind of strategy. The only thing that mattered for Mitsuko was winning, on the ring she would wait for the entrance of her rival, arms crossed trying, in vain, to stop overthinking.

Mio was in the locker room, psyching herself up for her upcoming match. She would be facing someone named Mitsuko Mura, and she knew that she had to be careful in the ring if she wanted to emerge victorious against her. Clad in her two-piece blue wrestling outfit, she waited for her cue before she was told that it was her turn to make her entrance. Giving herself one last look, Mio then nodded before she stepped out of the locker room, making her way to the gorilla position before she emerged at the entrance. Pumped up, she punched the air as she then jogged down the ramp, heading over to the ring.

Once she arrived at the ring, Mio made sure to do some light stretches, hopping on the balls of her feet a few times before she looked at her opponent. She wasn't sure what her opponent was capable of. For the time being, she would direct her gaze at this Mitsuko as she waited at the corner, waiting for the match to begin.

Seeing her opponent stretch and get ready amused her, she would destroy her just the same, but it pleased her to know that she would face someone who knew what he was doing. "I hope you don't have your hopes of winning too high, as I would hate to see them collapse!" She made herself heard loud and clear, although they were still in their respective corners.

Bowings, good manners, soft and melodic intonation, there was nothing like that or anything else that you would expect to find in an upper class Japanese girl from a conservative family. "That's right, prepare well to make this at least entertaining" Mura Mitsuko maintained an arrogant attitude, with a mocking smile towards Mio and she spoke rudely, she made an effort to do it on purpose, because it always had resulted in sparring to provoke her opponents, plus she enjoyed it.

When the time to go to the center of the ring comes, to check if her theory was correct and her opponent will use strikes, she'll adopt a defensive position, at the same time she could make a gesture with her hand, inviting Mio to attack her.

Mio narrowed her eyes, noting the arrogance in Mitsuko's tone. She tried to ignore the taunting remark, knowing that her opponent was trying to get her riled up before the match could begin. She just threw a pointed gaze at Mitsuko; not quite a glare, but not a meek look either. She was prepared to lock horns with the other woman no matter what.

And then, the bell was rung, and Mio decided to start off the match with a strike. The moment after the bell was sounded, Mio would charge towards Mitsuko and attempt to hit her with a kick at the side of her thigh, hoping that the strike would catch her off-guard, allowing Mio to continue with her onslaught.

"Boring girl!" disappointed at the lack of response and without even knowing the voice of her opponent, she let her approach, expecting a blow to the face or the midsection Mitsuko was surprised at the impact against her thigh. Her leg drew back and the upper part of her turned forward, one of her hands instinctively went to the hit area and with the other she had to keep her balance, her mocking smile disappeared as she realized that was unprotected.

Mio smiled, clearly seeing that her opponent wasn't expecting the kick to her thigh. Now that her opponent was exposed, Mio would bring up her arm before she charged forward, looking to knock her down with a lariat, smashing her arm right across her upper chest.

If she managed to knock Mitsuko down, Mio would then rush over to the ropes, looking to rebound from them before returning back to her opponent, planning to use her momentum to leap up and land a knee drop right at the side of her body, hoping to inflict more damage.

At the moment things were not looking too good for Mura, as a Lariat from her rival sent her directly against the mat, she was angry, not by any of the blows, but by the mocking smile of her rival, how could someone so quiet be so hateful? With no time to answer her own question she saw the shadow of Mio over her, too late to counterattack, she narrowly dodged the knee drop by rolling to her side.

She went into four to get up, glaring at Mio, who had inadvertently driven Mura out of mind by ignoring her "actions speak louder than words... uh?" She was moving slowly at first, maybe too much, trying to look more damaged than she was, then suddenly leaping towards her opponent with a Shoulder Tackle.

Mitsuko managed to avoid the knee drop from Mio, and Mio watched as her opponent got herself on all four. Rising back up, Mio watched her opponent slowly making her way up, thinking that she might be in the midst of recovery.

But then, Mitsuko suddenly leaped forward and drove her shoulder into Mio's midsection, hitting her with a shoulder tackle. "UGHHH!!" Mio could feel her wind driven out of her lungs, and she lost her footing as she fell backwards, leaving herself vulnerable to whatever her opponent would try to do to her next.

The little trick worked and her shoulder connected at the unprepared chest of Mio, making her to fall on the canvas, the things begin to go the right way and at last she heard the voice of her opponent, even if it was only in a small cry of pain, Mura smiled at the thought of hearing many more of those in the near future.

Seeing the woman in a blue, vulnerable after the fall, she decided to go for a Falling Body Splash, running towards the ropes, gaining momentum and using it to jump on Mio. Maybe it wasn't the most elegant move, but, if it worked she could end above the woman ready to try mount her, wanting to be in a dominant position, sitting on her opponent belly, to slap her compatriot's checks a couple of times.

Mio wheezed after being taken down by Mitsuko, who then proceeded to run towards the ropes and rebound from them so that she could jump onto her and hit her with a body splash. Unable to move away, Mio took the splash, causing her to cry out in pain as her body was flattened under her opponent's body.

"UAHH!!!"

Gasping for air, Mio felt Mitsuko sitting on her stomach. As she tried to regain her bearing, Mio got herself slapped by her opponent multiple times. Groaning, Mio would try to push Mitsuko away in order to free herself. She needed to recover in order to fight back, or else she might not be able to win this match.
