Days of Debuts: Ember Days (D) vs. Hitomi Nakamura

Hitomi had not known this new girl for long and already she was growing tired of her almost manic energy. Seemed very much her mouth and body moved at a rapid pace which only seemed to add a consistent salt in the room. Especially when Ember Days tried to have a little jab at Hitomi's expense which only compounded the situation.

"Oh god do you ever shut..."

SMACK!!!

"GAH!" Hitomi cursed out as before she could move or shift into her position Ember Days delivered a knife-edge chop which struck her chest, the resounding smack was picked up by the ringside mics which caused fans in the front row to wince as Hitomi clutched her chest and moved along her ropes away from the corner or Ember Days.

She reaped the rewards when that hand struck. A loud curse, the clutch. The dejection as they limped away. Sadism wasn’t Ember’s forte, but she took pride in her handiwork. How far she’s come from that weak, bedridden girl to delivering smacks that make others keel. Though she couldn’t stew for long, the match moves on.

“Do I ever what now? Do I ever shut what?!”

One brow perked like a rolling hill. She pursued them, shadowing Hitomi’s figure before her firm hand found their shoulder, pulling it back and pressing their weight into their chest. Her tongue stuck out while the two locked body-to-body. Then the rope’s rebound sent Ember reeling back, where she secured their arm and pulled them, giving a laneway and subsequent shove to see them gallop towards the other ropes. If successful, both feet stomped, amping up her charge before she ran in pursuit. Her shoulder-jutted forward, arm tucked across her chest with aims to run them through!

This match was going south for Hitomi in a hurry, not only was she being beaten from pillar to post but her opponent's colorful lingo just was the more creative way to rub salt in the wound. She began to get annoyed, but that was the least of her problems as this Ember set her up and seemed to bounce the ropes, and the next thing Hitomi knew she saw Ember going for what seemed to be a shoulder charge which caused her eyes to widen behind her dinosaur mask!

Hitomo needed to do something and something quickly, and without much fan fare she did what her body had considered impulse. She quickly worked to flop to her side, her body weight causing her to drop to the canvas like a rock which caused her to bite her lip. It hurt, but if she avoided the shoulder charge she'd be willing to pay that slight price to pay as now Ember would be meeting open air and if she were lucky she'd sail over and crash against the canvas or ropes with this trip up.

Full-speed! No Mercy!

She steamed ahead to mindless abandon than the bullet train; no, she was a walking boulder! Then the crash. Her feet broadsided into their person, one then two. She keeled from her knees, lurching forward as her arms sheltered the paling face of Ember Days. A heart rate brought into a sudden stop; both breasts squished against the middle rope, throwing pain into her spine before she whiplashes and spanks the canvas with her back.

“Fucking... Ehhhh-k...”

Coughs slipped, followed by a pained groan as she folded her legs so her knees were skyward. There, she reached, grabbing the middle rope while one clutched a handful of hair.

Agh...curse that little no good...huh?

Hitomi groaned, to say Ember was fast was an understatement as her fast steps kicked against her sides while she was down which only seemed to rub salt in the wound. However, once she had worked up to her feet, she saw something puzzling; her opponent having seemingly stumbled to the ropes and struggled to stand which Hitomi had no way to know happened.

Hitomi looked on stupidly, her mask hid her sweat drop before she quickly knew she had to try and make this moment...look like it was least part of a plan as she began to chuckle.

"H-ha! The clever tactics of the superior species left you prone and helpless!" Hitomi called out, and before anyone had capacity to challenge her attempt to make the desperate drop into some "plan" she quickly ran the ropes and turned as she approached Ember aiming to splash her rear end on her back and slam her full weight into her.

The ropes sent a pulsating throb within her chest. An arm folded across her bust, rubbing out the wound until the numbness became manageable. One hand pushed against the canvas, propping one quarter, then another hand, and lastly, her knees followed suit. She propped on all fours, ready to push off the ground into an explosive recovery! Her opponent loomed, slamming their weight like a falling anvil, flattening her into the mat with all limbs splayed across the canvas. Air shot from her lungs, leaving nothing but butterflies. She gasped out her last breath, trickling into a strained groan-growl mixture.

“Dinosaurs aren’t clever dipshit… What the hell did you eat this morning?!”

Once more, Ember tried climbing to all fours. Whether they pressed their total pre-historic weight didn’t falter the girl. No, they’d need to do something MORE. If not, then they’d find Ember Days claiming her feet. And once one foot pressed against the canvas, she reached back and grabbed a fistful of hair, pulling their chin flush on her shoulder. Now, the execution. Where she sprung up to both feet, hopped and butt-slammed the canvas, hoping to send the impact crisp into their fixed chin.

"Last I checked I was the Apex Predator here, not you so don't make presumptions about us~"

Hitomi, for the first time in this match, felt a touch smug to her as she managed to knock Ember off her early high horse; both figuratively and quite literally as her butt slam drove her back down. This caused her to pace a bit, not striking right away to build on her advantage but rather and cockily flaunting in her control for this exchange as Ember once more worked to stand.

"Got any dumb little nonsense lines this time you...shit!" Hitomi said, in what had began as a tease but shifted towards a cry as without much warning Ember popped and aimed to strike her which caused Hitomi to shift to the side to just avoid a sudden impact.

“Yeah, suck this, you Apex Bozo!”

Ah, that sounded cool in her head. Especially as she found purchase upon the mat, sealed Hitomi’s head then dropped. That captivating hand slipped from its home, slapping her collar. It caused no pain, no, that sunk below the waist as the awkward butt-slam felt like a piledriver for her tailbone.

Her back arched, lurching forward with Hitomi’s weight piling on. A hand against the canvas supported her weight as she hissed, “What the hell was that? Fuck off my back!”

Like so, she dipped her head and flung it back, throwing an aimless headbutt for her dinosaur foe. Whether their mask protected Hitomi or the pain that ensues if it didn’t was to be seen.

"H-ha! Have a taste of Apex reflexes you crazed rambler!"

Ember spoke almost with an impromptu boasting as she tried to sound a bit cooler than likely it actually had come out. Still she felt good about herself, she managed to avoid the blow and her opponent was knocked on her own ass.

Cockily she made her way over to Ember eager to press her advantage, only to get a sudden strike as Ember launched a headbutt her direction as her skull and helmet hit Ember's.

"Agh!"

Hitomi groaned, though her mask seemed mostly soft there was some firmness with one of the "horns" which should've caused some pain to Ember as Hitomi was knocked on her butt.

Two heads butting felt much like ice. The hardiness of the skull equally matched, besieging that of a steadfast wall. Pain feasted on her nerves, a hiss that made her hand reach and scratch her scalp, soon joined by another hand.

Then she lurched, grumbling, “Damn.” She said with the tightened wince before shaking it off. One leg crossed over, followed by a turn, raising to one knee with curled toes and a hanging head. A curtain of scarlet hair cloaked her face, taking a deep breath then flipping it all back, combing a hand through.

“Alright, alright. I’ll give ya some credit. You have some instinct.”

She raised to her feet, at last, reasserting a self-satisfied smile.

“That of a fossil..”

Finally, both hands jutted, fists cocked, with one beckoning them.

“Come on, let’s see if ya can dew-it twice.”
