Warriors of Steel: Hikari Nakano vs Haganehime

Everything was ringing in Hikari’s head following that headbut to the face she had taken from Hagane had rocked her thoroughly. But not enough to leave her completely defenseless. Throwing her leg up she drove her knee into the back of the girls back and earning a satisfying yell of pain in response. But unfortuantely that wasn’t enough to get the girl off of her or even buy too much time as soon the girl sent a punch right to her belly!

”Guh!” She gasped in pain as the fist buried into her soft tummy making her groan in pain. Gritting her teeth Hikari reached up and tried to snap her hands over wrist. If she was successful Hikari would turn on her side while pulling the girl’s arm to pull the other girl off her. If she was successful than Hikari would roll to the side in an attemp to get some distance.

Himeko dug her fist hard and deep into Hikari's stomach, relishing the pain it caused as her opponent gasped and groaned. Though she could revel in the hit for long, as Hikari immediately started fighting back, grabbing at Himeko's wrist and pulling her aside in a desperate roll. And with Himeko so focused on her punch, the sudden pull and surge of energy from Hikari figuratively and literally threw her off, making her roll off across te canvas in surprise and annoyance.

It didn't take long for Himeko to get to her feet, though her back and stomach were still sore. The adrenaline from the initial exchange died down enough for her to really feel the hits now. She was almost grateful Hikari kept her distance instead of going on the offensive. Their last few exchanges were intense and painful, the short break was needed.

"... ... ..." Of course, she still had to take the girl down, it was just a matter of how. Hikari could take a punch and give one back. She didn't let a hard punch deter her and she was dead set on matching Himeko blow for blow. The last few exchanges were more brawling than grappling, so maybe it was time to change tactics.

So, Himeko inched forward, slowly as she caught her breath, body lowered and arms raised to about her shoulders, a grappling stance to try change the tempo of the fight a little.

Hikari hissed slightly as she got back up following her relatively brief but painful exchange with Himeko. Despite the match both starting both girls had left their marks on the other in the forms of knuckles and knees in eachothers sides, back and stomachs. ‘This.. will be harder than anticipated.’ Thought Hikari as she got back to a full vertical base and stared down her opponet.

Despite the initial clash Hikari still found herself with little to no understanding of her opponet, how she fought, why she was so aggressive towards her, nothing. But understanding why would only play a role in defeating the girl before her, and she could afford to try it later. Right now she had to focus on re engaging with the vicious girl who also got to her feet and was approaching once more.

Narrowing her eyes at the girl’s stance it didn’t take a genuis to figure out the girl wanted a grapple. Most people Hikari assumed, would likely enter the lock up without hesitation. Hikari however wasn’t most people. Rather than approach slowly and lock up, Hikari charged forward, blitzing the slower paced Himeko.

As she approached then Hikari would execute an unorthodox wrestling maneuver, but a savvy aikido move. Swinging her left leg up high Hikari apparently went for a high kick, but it was a trick. Her foot would instead pass just in front of her opponet’s face regardless if she instinctively ducked or not. Following through with her momentum from the kick Hikari would place her hands on the mat and throw her legs out, now going for her true targets.

Himeko’s own legs in a attempt to tangle her legs with Himeko’s before pulling back to knock Himeko to the mat! If this was successful, with Himeko hopefully on her stomach and her legs trapped under Hikari’s own, then the scion would attempt to grab said legs before untangling their limbs before walking backwards ro try and lock Himeko in a boston crab submission!

Himeko's gaze sharpened. Hikari wasn't going to bother playing along, but that was fine. Himeko was more than ready for an offensive approach. She readied herself as Hikari rushed forward, easily bending back and away from the kick. Her plan was to go low for a tackle and pin her, or even pound at Hikari's face afterwards. That was the idea, but-

"Wha-!" The moment Hikari had her legs hooked into Himeko the color drained from her face.

A trap, and a rather textbook on Himeko recognized. One that sent Himeko slamming hard against the mat face first. "Grah!" She was left in a dazed state, completely caught off guard by the sudden shift in tactics. That was no wrestling technique, that came straight of aikido. And while Himeko was more versed in judo, she knew enough to recognize he wasn't dealing with just some wrestler. This was also a martial artist.

And on that had little issue mixing the two style, as Hikari took advantage of the situation to force Himeko into a painful boston crab while she was still dazed, the burning pain her legs immediately shocking the Princess to reality as her body tensed up and recoiled. "Ghh!" She clamped down hard, refusing to not let a single cry escape her and show weakness. You'll have to try harder to keep me down! She started rocked her body in response, trying to shake Hikari off.

The match so far had been back forth so far, neither girl managing to get very far ahead without suffering a blow that halted them. However now things had pivoted Hikari’s facor. With a quick but effective fake out borrowed from her aikido training Hikari had managed to take the girl down, and from there her wrestling training had taken over.

Reaching up and grabbing the girl’s legs Hikari managed to stand and successfully lock in a boston crab hold, a very tight one none the less. But even so Hagane was refusing to even aknowledge the pain of the hold, let alone anywhere close to shbmitting from it.

”Tsk.” Hikari said softly in slight annoyance between Himeko’s stubborness, as well as the girl’s resistance in the form of her shaking her body about. Grunting as she tried to keep her under control Hikari decided to change things slightly as she took a few steps back, pulling Himeko’s leg up further and lifting more of the girl’s body off the mat. Leaning backwards till her shoulder would press against the mat Hikari would attempt to transition into a high angle Boston Crab popular amongst Joshi wrestlers!

For all it did Himeko, her rocking and shaking only did so much to loosened the harsh hold. Some of the stress was off, but a bare minimum, just enough to even notice. Hikari still had a good grip on her, and she sure to display it as she pulled at her legs. And at the very least it seemed Himeko's iron will had annoyed Hikari, because she pulled Himeko's legs back further to try and get some kind of cry out of her.

And further.

And further.

And then Hikari's shoulders were on the canvas.

Himeko was bent into a brutal "C" shape as Hikari closed it to make an "O" between the two of them. And Himeko's back and legs were screaming. Her face was bright red from the sharp pain in her back and legs, tears involuntarily coming out as the crowd roared at the display as Himeko's kimono skirt slipped and showed off her biker shorts. Not that Himeko could hear much of it through the pain.

But Himeko didn't cry out.

The most the escaped her was a short, heavy groan through tightly gritted teeth. She huffed, she gave out very labored and pained breathes, but she refused she show weakness to Hikari. This wasn't a hold to end the match, it was a challenge to test Himeko's will, and her will was ironclad.

She clawed at the mat with her hands, desperately scrambling to touch at Hikari's ankles and push them apart into a forceful split while her upper body was preoccupied with Himeko's lower.

Hikari was going firther and further back, pulling Himeko’s legs back with her as she looked to escalate the pain of the boston crab as much as possible. All eventually to the point her shoulders were touching the mat with how dangerously bent Himeko’s spine was. Their bodies forming a solid C shape from the angles of their forms.

But even despite what had to be complete agony flourishing through Himeko the girl refused to give any indication she was in it. Her breathing and groans of pain the only indication Hikari was getting anywhere with the lightweight. Even so Hikari kept the hold up, just becaue Himeko refused to cry out didn’t mean the hold wasn’t effective. It was clearly having some effect on her and she’d be damned if she let go of it easily.

However her focus soon shifted from the hold and to her feet as she felt something grab around her ankle. ”What?!” She said in shock as her ankles were pulled redistributing her weight and causing her to slide on either side!

Before she knew it Hikari was forced into a split that made her hiss softly in pain. Almost immediately Hikari released her grip on the girls ankles to fall all the way to the mat and pull her legs up over her to roll back onto her hands and knees with a wince before looking up to glare at the now freed Himeko.

Himeko flopped to the ground with little grace or ease, left gasping as the searing pain in her back finally started to subside. "Hah... hah... hah..." Ugh, this fuckin' brat... Enduring all that was hell, but at least she kept some of her pride. She wasn't going to be broken that easily. And as she dragged herself to her knees she found Hikari glaring daggers at her, which Himeko shot right back. It seemed the Scion was about as annoyed with Himeko as Himeko was with her. Like hell I'm tapping to you. She thought, scooting her way over to her. And like hell I'm giving you a break. And Himeko crawled with ragged breath, reaching to Hikari for what seemed to be a lockup at the shoulders, though instead... Himeko was set on another headbutt to the girl's skull.

Despite the fierce glare present on Hikari’s face that she was directing towards Himeko it was partially meant to hide the pain she was in. Virtually all of her flexibility was in in her spine and arms, she never once tried training her legs to be flexible. Thus that involuntary split she had been forced into left her immobile for more than a minute. Subtly bringing her hand to her legs she winced slightly as she tried to get up only to fall back down again. Looking up she saw Himeko upon her, shuffling forth on her knees and before she knew it the other girl had her hands clamped around her shoudlers.

”Ugn!” ‘This sneaky bitch.’ Hikari thought to herself putting her own hands on Himeko’s shoulders trying to push her away only to suffer another headbut from the girl! “Agh!” She gasped out being knocked backwards, her eyes fluttering from the sheer shock, a new bruise starting to form right in the center of her forehead.

Himeko gritted her teeth, her skull colliding with Hikari's as she knocked the girl back, going back on all fours without the support of the Scion's shoulders. Another good hit, but one that still did a number of Himeko as well. "Hah..." Despite the effect the strike had on Hikari, a small red mark was on Himeko's forehead as well. But the message was sent, Himeko wasn't going to make this any easier for Hikari, and she was going down without a lot more punishment.

"Phew..." On somewhat, shaky legs, Himeko got to her feet, tapping at the canvas with her foot to make sure she was steady. Her legs still felt a little light from that god-awful hold, but she could still fight. And for the moment she caught her breath, looking down at Hikari and waiting for her to rise as well.
