Atalante Pallas Vs. Karen Meadows

Once again it was time for Atalante Pallas to throw herself into the squared circle, this time she was facing off against a woman by the name of Karen Meadows. While she knew little of her as a wrestler she had some familiarity with her other works. Having watched Rachel Acker in the show "The Long Night" for a few seasons. She had stopped sometime during the third season and for some reason never picked it up again. Though she couldn't say exactly why, she hadn't disliked it nor had she stopped finding it interesting, other stuff probably popped up and she had forgotten about it.

The Grecian was rather interested in seeing how the genuine article felt to wrestle for real; Karen Meadows. Tightening her gloves around her fists, Atalante would stand at the Gorilla Position and wait for the cue for her to make her entrance. She rolled her neck on her shoulders a bit and then rolled her shoulders, making sure she was prime and ready for this confrontation. When her music finally started to play out of the speakers the green-blonde woman would step out onto the ramp to the loud cheers of the crowd. Her first few matches had been quite a success for the modern day Greek-hero and she had planned to keep that going! Walking down towards the ring, that fake tail of hers swayed a bit behind her, her cat-ear accessories bobbed a bit with each step that she took as she made her way down towards the squared circle.

Rolling in under the bottom ropes, Atalante moved up towards her feet and walk towards her corner where she would fold her arms underneath her chest and turn around. Facing towards the ramp as she awaited Karen Meadows entrance...

"Atlante...Atalan..Atalante...geez Now I know why some people change there names to something less wordy when they get into show biz." Karen said looking over the girl she was about to square down with. It hadn't been too long since she had a match thankfully and she was pretty glad to see another one soon, couldnt let herself get sloppy. Not when new girls were popping up all over. Like the new girl she was facing little miss Atalante Pallas. Karen wasnt sure about anything else from this chick but she didnt care she was going to beat her one way or another.

When her music played she dropped everything and went right to work and went to the Gorilla press and she would start to march down to the ring, shaking hands and giving a few nods to her fans before sliding in the ring. She watched her opponent in the ring already, looking rather interesting in her attire. At least she got the 'stand out from the masses' part right, but was she all style no substance or was there some skill her, Karen would find out. "Sorry to keep you waiting, but dont worry, you have my undivided attention now." Karen said getting ready in her corner.

Atalante kept her amrs folded underneath her chest as she waited for her opponent. She did not seem to be in a big rush from the looks of things. Waiting for a while, Atalante began to tap her finger against her arm as she counted the seconds. Perhaps this was an attempt to psyche her out? The Grecian wasn't so easily psyched out though, as she simply waited and would bide her time.

When her opponent decided to show, and the music of hers played over the speakers the green-blonde wrestler would take a step forward out of her corner. Bringing her arms down from her chest and to her sides instead. " Good. I can't wait to see what that is like." Atalante spoke out in a curt manner as she would look at the referee who would quickly call for the bell.

If anyone expected any serious trash talk they were disappointed as neither one seemed to be going for anything disrespectful. A far cry from her meeting with cipher which despite the opponent saying almost nothing was full of clear and intended disrespect from the masked Khaos goon. Karen didnt care for the insult game so when the bell rang she decided to just get started.

She would move towards Atalante and try for a lock up, but only to start things off, once they really got going Karen would try to grab one arm and twist it. Looking to get control early on in the match before she would put pressure on the arm to force Atalante to kneel.

Atalante didn't mind starting things off with a lock up as she would move forward and raise her arms up, looking to enter into the challenge headstrong. Though as they locked up they didn't stay that way for long. As Karen was quick to grab onto one of Atalante's arms and twisted it, putting the green-blonde wrestler into a hammerlock and then began to try and force the Grecian down onto one knee.

Wincing out a bit from the pain, Atalante reluctantly was forced down to one knee....but she didn't intend to stay there, growling out, Atalante would start to try and push herself back up. Trying to force her way to a stand as she refused to kneel this early.

With the struggle continuing the two of them were trying to bring the other to there knees, and Karen was getting an early lead forcing her foe to back down while she was getting an early advantage. But soon after she forced her down to one knee she was starting to come up right after in a show of force that Karen had to try and take down.

Grunting with the two back on neutral ground Karen would have to change things up in a different way. She would push against her one more time before trying to throw her hands up and get behind her to grab around her waist and hold her that way.

Atalante had been forced down by her raven haired opponent but with some effort and the help of her very strong legs, the green-blonde wrestler began to force her way back up to her feet, putting the two of them back on even footing. Atalante pushed her way up with a good deal of effort as she then felt how Karen was up to something...she pushed against her as she would then suddenly break free of the lock up and slip in behind her.

Locking her arms around the waist of the Grecian. Atalante would let out a grunt as she looked over her shoulder at Karen. Quickly Atalante would try and grab onto the hands and wrists of Karen and try to prey them apart. If it worked she would try and grab onto the dominant wrist of the raven haired woman and spin out to the side as she would try and begin to twist on that wrist, trying to put Karen in a twisting wrist-lock!

The match was starting more traditional then most with the two of them jockeying for early control. With Karen getting her waist and hoping to keep it she sought to bring her opponent down with a german but she started fighting her hands, Karen's grip held for a moment but one slip up on her part got the space Atalante needed to break it and go right for her hand and pull it into a wrist lock.

"Rnggh!" Karen hissed when her wrist was twisted bringing her arm at an awkward angle while her foe twisted it to the full extent. From there she remained until she would try and do the same bringing her arm up to grab her foes wrist and looking to twist the way of her arm to undo the lock before she would try and do the same and keep her there.

Atalante managed to turn her way out of waist lock that Karen had locked her into and began to find twist that wrist of the raven haired woman. Having locked her into quite a nasty arm wringer it. A rather traditional start to this match to say the least, and it seemed as if Karen was going to keep up the somewhat traditional spirit of this match of theirs. Twisting her arm free and instead grabbing onto Atalante's arm as she locked the green-blonde Grecian into a arm wringer instead!

"Ngh!" The cat-eared wrestler would wince out as she tippy-toed a bit, trying to pull her arm free without much luck. She knew that this wasn't going to go well for her if she stayed trapped like this, but she figured that Karen wasn't about to fall for her just trying to wrestle her arms free and reverse their positions in the same manner that Karen had done. No, she would have to add a bit more to it. Deciding to turn and face at an angle, Atalante would try and go forward into a quarter-roll, dropping low and rolling forward to untwist her arm, then quarter-roll back to get onto one knee.

Atalante would be swift like a cat as she tried to slide one leg in between Karen's legs and then in behind one of them. The free hand of Grecian would go for the Achilles tendon on the other foot of Karen and then with a strong pull she would try and drop Karen onto her back, hoping to free herself from the arm wringer as she would try and pull both her arms back to grab at Karen's leg and go for ankle lock as she would try and forcefully yank Karen over onto her front and then begin to twist on that ankle.

Karen pulled on Atalante's arms and kept her close pulling on that arm and feeling the cat based women start to be under her control. Karen wasnt going to let up, much like the women she played on her show she would press the attack and seek to bring Atalante down to her knees, but the women displayed a sudden burst of agility rolling under her. Karen fell forward from her grip as Atalante would bring her all the way down to her front while also grabbing her ankle and pulling on it.

"Aggh! Annggh!" Karen screamed as her ankle was badly twisted. The former actress would turn and attempt to pull away but her leg was caught and she felt it twist in her opponents hands causing more and more pain with every passing second.
