Erin's Sports Session: Beach Volleyball

Kat had every intention of finding her bearings again and re-familiarizing herself with being able to play volleyball. In truth, the squared circle was her home away from home, but today wasn't about wrestling. Today was about using that athleticism of hers to enjoy a volleyball game with her friends and to hang out. And sure enough, she'd try to do just that.

When Noelle spiked the ball down, Kat looked towards Erin, who was already in position to make the save, just like last time! The curvy blonde wouldn't let this opportunity go to waste! After seeing the ball bounce off Erin's arms and fly upwards, Hart dashed towards it. Kat would stop and plant her feet a moment. The ball flew up high. The the apex of it's height, it was just out of reach. When it finally began to descend, Katherine would jump up and pull back one arm with her hand and palm out. She'd swing her arm as the ball came down towards her and proceed to slap it over the next! The ball would fly towards the center of the opposing team's court, between Alana and Noelle!

Alana would see Erin hand touch the ball as it would be flying towards the net where Kat was waiting to hit it as the Blond moved towards the center as she saw the swing of her opponent's hand. With the way that arm was swinging their was only one direction the ball would go as the New Zealander would not look where Noelle was as she only wanted to hit the ball , and then sent it towards the net where her partner could spike it towards their opponent's field.

Noelle felt great about the spike, her last attempt to juke out their opponents with the love tap must've left them at guessing. But their opponents were not one to be easily felled by a cheap trick like that as Erin managed to stop her spike, knocking her off balance but got the ball up into the air as Noelle's eyes widened.

Landing on the sand, she saw that her partner had managed to block against the return spike and had set up an opening for her as she would attempt to leap up again. Exerting herself to keep up with the fast play, she couldn't go for another spike right off the bat as it would throw out her arm as she attempted for another tap, looking to take advantage of the fast play and drag the pace down to a halt!

Erin saw Noelle go for another light tap to cause the ball to fall around a foot from the net. That move wasn't going to fool the redhead twice though and although she had to lunge for the ball, she'd manage to hit it up high by getting her hands underneath it. Once again the ball would soar into the air, this time directly above Erin's head. If Noelle wanted to slow the game down she had sure done so. For a second Erin was caught staring at the volleyball until she realized she couldn't just wait for it.

"Right! All yours Kat!" The redhead yelled as she quickly jogged backwards so she could switch positions with her partner. She was hoping the tall blonde was on the same page as her. Erin would wait for one of two options now. Either she would watch Kat slam the ball to the other side, or she would wait for Kat to set it again before charging at the net to follow up with a hard spike.

"Got it!" Hart aknowledged.

When Erin called out to her, Kat was ready to sync up with her. Katherine's coordination with her friend would suddenly spike. She'd finally warmed up and seemed ready to get serious. The heavyweight blonde would pick up on Erin's cue and leap into the air towards the ball. She'd throw her hands overhead before putting them together and bringing down the ball in an attempt to spike it over the net and downwards, near Noelle. Kat aimed to return the ball to sender with authority to spare. She showed that there was anything she was going to be useful for in a volleyball match, it was going to be smashing the ball with enough force to make it difficult to return.

Alana heard her fellow blond scream she got it after the redhead had moved in the right position for Kat to smash it towards their side of the field. While the surfer knew she could never reach the ball in time she would still run forward in an attempt to reach it as she yelled ''do your best to stop that ball from touching our field Noelle'' as all she could do as have faith that the mute could do it.

Noelle let out a grunt as the heavy hitter on the other team was in prime position to launch another cannonball like attack. She had to be careful, if she tried blocking incorrectly would only wear out her petite body against the powerful strikes. She then heard her partner call out to her, telling her to block the ball. It irradiated her to think that she was just going to let it happen. "Just leave it to me!" she cried out in frustration as she slid into action.

Her knees dug through the sand as she would attempt to use her hands to deflect the ball upwards rather than using her arms to try and knock the ball up. A grimace of pain shot on Noelle's face as she felt the sting in her hands, it was better her hands than her arms as she tried to set up for Alana for a counter attack!

(maybe we wanna try to have people post when it's their turn to hit the ball? This way we don't have a post of someone standing around while we try to follow the post order?)

"Alright Kat, hope you're better at defense than wrestling." Erin teased as she watched their opponent's set up. Hoping to get a jump start Erin would rush to the front of the net. She would just wait until the ball was hit in her direction before trying to jump up and block the shot. If all went well the ball would hit her outstretched arms and fall back to Noelle and Alana's side. Otherwise the ball would most likely go sailing over her. If that happened though the redhead hoped her teammate would be prepared for a hasty return.

"If I miss this and you don't get it, Imma kick your butt Kat." Erin teased, turning for a quick second to stick her tongue out at her friend before refocusing her attention back on the ball. It looked like Noelle's set was a bit haphazard so she hoped Alana's hit would be the same.

Kat would shoot Erin a quick, angry, yet comedic glare upon hearing that first comment. She wanted to reply with something witty, but the blonde immediately returned her attention to their opponents on the other side of the net. Being aware of where the ball was at all times was going to be key if she wanted to turn things around. The blonde heavyweight would take initiative the same way Erin, did. She wasn't about to take those comments sitting down.

Kat would rush tot he front of the court and wait by the net for the return shot. She'd jump up with her red headed friend and attempt to deflect the ball with her and send it down onto Alana's and Noelle's side in preparation of Alana return. Regardless of whether or not Kat and Erin were able to successfully block the ball and scorn, Kat would call out in surprise once she landed.

"Wait! Wait! Wait! SHE CAN TALK?!" Hart exclaimed whilst pointing at Noelle

Alana would be running towards the net as she got into position to smash the ball to the other side when she heard her partner talk. While she wanted to at first scream that she was surprised Noelle could talk that was kind of ruined when Kate did it first as she just leaped into the air. When the ball came within reach she would spike the ball to go straight down in a 45 degree angle as she would land on her butt as she just started t her partner as she said ''why did you not say anything before all of this''.
