Videl Satan [D] vs Sumire Yoshizawa

"This is it. My first step onto the professional stage," Videl was standing in gorilla position, feeling an pre match excitement she hadn't felt in a long time. She'd fought hundreds of matches across various types of martial arts as a child, but now she was again just a rookie, fighting her first official match against an adult. However, that first match being wrestling, was actually a bit of a strange decision for Videl.

She had excelled in nearly all forms of combat in her childhood. Karate, Jujitsu, Boxing, and nearly any other discipline came naturally to her. The one that never really clicked for her was wrestling. It wasn't that she didn't like wrestling or was genuinely bad at it, but compared to more strike heavy martial arts, wrestling fell a bit by the wayside for Videl.

However, this was the very reason Videl took up professional wrestling before going pro in anything else. Videl wanted to be a champion of all types of combat, and to that end she could never accept as glaring a weakness in her repertoire as wrestling was. She knew it would be rocky. She probably wouldn't have a great record to start her career. But that didn't matter, what mattered is that she would be on top by the end of it all.

Okay, okay just have to get out there and not over think things so much. I know I can win. I can win Sumire would tell herself to get herself hyped up for her match. It was something to just go at it in the gym with people you know, but know it’s an entire stage basically. Not that she is not used to it. But this was something else entirely, wrestling with such a big crowd. These doubts would just fester in her mind.Alright enough of that, I know I can win, I just have focused on what I practiced. I got this

With that Sumire’s music started playing and she jumped out of backstage, those worries from before not to be seen. Sumire was waving and smiling at the audience who had given her a very warm welcome. Which came as a shock to Sumire, but didn’t want to show it. Keeping things up she would even take photos with fans. Now that she got to the ring Sumire would take one big leap onto the mat. Then using her gymnastics background to go through the ropes in such a way. Some in the audience had their head spinning. Now in the ring Sumire would give one final show of climbing the top of the turn buckle to raise both her arms to the audience. Giving her a good response in kind. With that out of the way she jumped down and watched the ramp as Sumire waited for her opponent.

Once Sumire had made her entrance, it was Videl's turn. Her music began and she began walking out from backstage towards the ring. The crowd also gave Videl plenty of cheering, but her response was quite different. Videl walked with her eyes straight ahead, focused as if she couldn't even hear the crowd. When Videl got to the ropes, she jumped off of the bottom rope over the top rope and into the ring. Then Videl moved to her corner before finally acknowledging the crowd with a fist to the sky.

(Hmmm she sure looks tough, I am gonna need to be careful around her if I want to win) Sumire would think to herself as she prepped herself with some strategies. Taking a few deep breaths Sumire finally looked ready to go. One last thing left was to greet her opponent. Afterall despite them about to fight Sumire didn't want to be rude or anything.

So taking a few steps to Videl after she pumped up the crowd, Sumire would extend her hand out for a handshake. Lets try to have some fun out there, may the best one win... OH and good luck Sumire said to Videl, adding in the last part as she didn't want to come off as cocky

Once Videl was in the ring, she noticed Sumire looking her over, analyzing her. Sumire looked serious and strong in her corner. Then she came out of her corner offering a handshake, which Videl would accept. Of course! I can't wait to see what you got, Sumire.

The two girls backed off a few steps from each other as they waited for the bell. Once it rang and the match started, Videl would put her hands up for a test of strength, but it would be a bait. If Sumire accepted, Videl would pull back and fire a kick into her hip.

Glad to hear! Sumire would tell Videl as she backed off and went back to her side of the ring. Waiting for the bell to ring.(Okay, Okay slow and steady wins the race, but not to slow enough to lose a fight. God what am I thinking) Sumire would think to herself kinda getting in her own head. Thats when the bell would ring signaling the start of the match

Despite all that though she looked cool as a cucumber at the start. Now Sumire knew she was somewhat strong, but that wasn't something she was riding on to win. So when she saw that Videl put up her hands for a test of strength. Sumire decided against it and did not lock hands. Instead looking to fake it, by pulling her hand back quickly once they locked hands. So she did just that, once they did Videl would pull herself back and fire a kick at Sumire's hip

(Good thing I prepped for this) Sumire thought to herself as got away from Videl and stepped back to dodge the kick. Though because it was a kick maybe Sumire would have some time to counter. Leading Sumire to step back forward and try to trip Videl with a leg sweep.

Sumire pulled back her hands at the same time Videl did, what looked like a simple test of strength has turned into a match of mental maneuvering from both sides. Videl's attacked first with a kick that was back stepped by Sumire, who moved back in range to retaliate low with a sweep at Videl's leg. Videl, in response to missing, let her momentum from her whiffed kick carry her away from Sumire's sweep, leaving some distance between the two fighters.

"Did we both just go for a fake test of strength?" Videl asked with a chuckle. "It looks like I've gotten an interesting opponent for my debut at the very least. Now let's see what else you got." With that, Videl sprinted behind Sumire to the ropes. Videl would jump into the middle rope and backflip off it, then twist her body around as she fired her Moonsault Kick at Sumire's head.

Though it looked like you did more than me with that kick of yours Sumire said with a smile to her opponent, whatever pre match jitters she had before were gone now. This'll definitely be a match for both of us to remember Sumire said kinda proudly to her opponent. Now prepping herself for whatever Videl was going to throw next at her

Just like that Videl would full sprint at Sumire, Sumire would take a defensive stance. Though it wouldn't matter as Videl ran past Sumire to the ropes. Using them as some kind of platform to jump off of. Quickly turning around Sumire would see Videl come at her with a moonsault kick aimed at the head. Sumire just barely dodged the kick. It grazing the top of her head down her face. Using her current momentum Sumire would try to get behind Videl soon after she lands. Not looking for anything big, but something to keep Videl still. So Sumire would try to wrap her arms around Videl, attempting to lift her up for a atomic drop.

Videl's Moonsault Kick was so close to landing, but not close enough. Sumire barely dodged it and moved behind Videl as she was landing after her attack. As Sumire grabbed Videl and lifted her up, she tried to trash free with kicks and elbows, but nothing could reach and she got dropped by Sumire.

"YAAAH-oof!" Videl cried out as she was slammed. She tried to land on her feet but couldn't, and was left flat on her ass with her back up against Sumire's thighs.

Sumire had started the match looking pretty good. That being said she had to stay on her toes, since this Videl person was willing to go for a move that big so early. Okay, okay I have to keep this going Wanting to keep her momentum though Sumire would quickly stand herself up. WIth Videl sitting on her butt, Sumire would sprint to the ropes and bounce off of them. Looking to run back to Videl and hit her in the face with a low dropkick.
