Kiera wasn't exactly sure how she found herself vying for the middleweight championship, but here she was in a match that could easily becom career defining for her. The redhead was excited to say the least. Her older sister Erin had failed to snag the title when they had the chance and this was something that Kiera would just love to lord over them. All she had to do was heat the current champion. Easy right? Of course it would be. There was no way a talent like Kiera Quinn was going to be defeated in the ring. She would make sure her top was secure before finally heading out to face her foe.

As she exited the backstage area, Kiera was met with cheers from the crowd. She was obviously considered the underdog for this match and that seemed to resonate with a good portion of the crowd. She'd flash the audience an impish grin, raising her hands a bit to tell them to cheer louder. The sound of the entrance music was slowly drowned out by the roaring crowd. "Much better." The redhead mumbled to herself as she made her way up to the ring.

Kiera hopped up into the ring, vaulting herself over the top rope. She'd quickly back up towards the middle of the ring and look out towards the entrance. "Alright! Come on out! You're keeping the next middleweight champ waiting!" She yelled to her currently absent opponent. She'd stand tall in the middle of the ring, hands placed on her hips. She was perhaps a bit too proud of herself for that line.

With her opponent having made her way out to the ring, the middleweight champion Lillian Byrne watched on from behind the curtain, a smirk on her face as she observed the smaller, redheaded wrestler heading down to the ring, noting everything about her challenger. She had heard of Kiera Quinn by way of her sister Erin Quinn, who had wrestled Tina to become the inaugural champ and come up short, though the brunette had heard that Erin was every bit as formidable as one would expect for a title contender.

Her sister, on the other hand, was someone that Lillian had scarcely expected to face off with at a PPV like this, and as such, the brunette was in the mood to put on a show, a message to all those in the back that wanted her title.

Stepping through the curtain, LAW's middleweight champion had a smirk on her face that never went away her entire trek down to the ring, confident and standing tall, eyes fixed firmly on Kiera to show the redhead how confident she was. And once she had climbed into the ring, Lillian held her title high in a proud showing, before handing it away, turning to her soon-to-be opponent, ready to defend her championship!

Seeing the title belt made things just a bit more real for the redheaded middle weight. For a moment she couldn't help but wonder if maybe she had gotten booked instead of her sister by mistake. Her eyes lingered on the belt for perhaps a few seconds too long before drifting back down to her opponent. "Yeah yeah. Ya got a shiny belt. Say goodbye to it now while ya can though." Kiera said with a roll of the eyes. She didn't really appreciate the show boating, especially since there was little doubt in her mind that she'd be taking that belt home with her tonight.

Kiera soon made her way back to the corner, leaning back against the turnbuckle and crossing her arms over her chest once she got there. The crowd seemed ready to see some action and so was she. She waited for her foe to hand off the belt before readying herself for a fight. "Alright...time to crack some skulls." She said with an impish grin.

The bell had sounded and Kiera's arms were raised. She was ready to go. The redhead cautiously approached the center of the ring. After all she figured her opponent had to have had at least some amount of skill to get that belt. Nevertheless she was prepared to lock up.

Sliding into the ring, Lillian stared across at Kiera with a slight smirk on her face, facing down her challenger with little worry in her mind, though her last two defenses of the belt had instilled a bit of a sense of natural caution in the champion. Of course, no matter if she underestimated Kiera or not, Lillian was fully planning on leaving the ring with the belt she entered with, stepping forwards as the bell rang and began this title match, starting off the middleweight championship showdown!

However, while the setting of the PPV and the belt on the line would lead most to be ready for a grand showdown, Lillian planned to have nothing of the sort take place, looking to shut things down quick! And she would put this plan into motion, rushing forwards with a sudden movement and thrusting a leg out, aiming to hit Kiera with a big boot to start things off!

While Kiera liked to be a little imp when she could, she hadn't expected the current middleweight champion to do the same. A sudden boot aimed at her stomach caught the redhead off guard. "Guuughh!" Kiera groaned as she felt Lillian's foot sink into her stomach. The title challenger doubled over as she stumbled back holding her stomach. "Nnnnng fuck..." the redhead mumbled before dropping to her knees. If she could take a do-over Kiera clearly would after what was perhaps the worst start she could imagine to such an important match for her.

Slowly but surely Kiera would push herself back to her feet so she could stand up straight. "Lucky fucking shot." Kiera said, at least trying to convince everyone that she wasn't just blindsided by a hard blow. She wasn't just some pushover after all. Now she just had to prove it once she regained her breath. Assuming her opponent wasn't going to let a good opportunity go by, Kiera would try to surprise her foe when they attempted to follow up by aiming a swift uppercut to their chin.

With her PPV match underway after the ringing of the bell, Lillian was the first one to strike as she rushed forwards, throwing a boot right at Kiera and successfully hitting her in the stomach, hearing the wind rush out of her challenger as she doubled over! Lillian knew that even more eyes were on LAW in general tonight on account of the spectacle of a big PPV, and as the middleweight champion she wanted to make it more than obvious that she was the number one threat in this entire promotion!

Kiera's pained groan drew a slight smirk from Lillian, and as the smaller woman suddenly swung an uppercut at the champion, Lillian would raise a hand up, catching Kiera's fist before it could land!

"Sorry, what was that kiddo? Something about a lucky shot?" Lillian taunted Kiera, before suddenly giving a hard tug on the redhead's arm, yanking her in quite quickly! And with her free arm, Lillian would swing hard right at Kiera's chest, aiming to club the air out of her as she yanked her in to deliver a painful lariat!

It didn't take long for Kiera to realize her mistake. She gasped as soon as her punch was caught. Before she could attempt any form of witty retort, Lillian tugged her forwards, causing the redhead to stumble a few steps. She stumbled right into Lillian's arm which had been swung forwards hard into her chest. The impact immediately floored Kiera who hit the mat with a loud thud. The middleweight groaned, now looking up at the lights and seeing stars. She was starting to wonder if maybe she had gotten in over her head.

"F...fuckinnnnng..." Keira groaned while slowly rolling onto her side. While one hand struggled to push her up, her other hand was clutching her chest in pain. She hadn't expected such a rough start to the match and was already winded from some hard hits. The redhead knew she had to manage some solid retaliation if she wanted to stay in this match but right now all she could do was gasp for air and hope Lillian let her make her way to the ropes to pull herself back up.

Lillian's arm clubbed Kiera hard enough to send her crashing down to the canvas, leaving the redhead writhing on the mat as she let out a groan of pain, the champion standing above her with a smile on her face, a rarity for Lillian to look so happy when she wrestled! Of course, it was somewhat of a sinister smile, as she waited for Kiera to rise back up once more, watching her foe grasp at the ropes before Lillian would move in, reaching down to grab hold of her foe's head and assist her to her feet! This of course, was all so that she could pull Kiera towards the center of the ring before reaching down and lifting her foe up, placing her back-first across the champ's shoulders, as her hands went to both Kiera's chin and her legs!

"Just in case any of you forgot why I'm the champion, this is why!" Lillian declared, showing off a tremendous amount of strength as she quite easily hefted Kiera onto her shoulders for a brutal torture rack! Wrenching down hard on the redhead's chin and legs, the brunette wrestler would begin to parade her opponent around the ring, stomping her feet to really stretch Kiera out as she put her on display for the PPV crowd, a terrifying show of strength coming from the champion!

A somewhat dazed Kiera reached out towards the ropes in hopes of catching her breath and pulling herself back up. She let out a surprised gasp though as she felt her opponent grab her head and just pull her up to her feet. "Nnnng let go!" She whined, swinging her hands back to try and swat Lillian away for a quick moment. That seemed to have little effect though and before she knew it Kiera was being roughly dragged towards the center of the ring. She stumbled and tried to stop her forward movement. She appeared successful for a moment but it was quickly made apparent that the movement stopped only because Lillian wanted it to.

"Ahhh hey!" The redhead gasped, feeling herself lifted into the air. Her eyes widened as soon as she realized what was about to happen. Without warning Lillian had Kiera acoss her shoulders and was putting immense strain on the redhead's back. Kiera squirmed frantically, trying to kick her legs and flail her arms as she cried out in pain. "Gaaah! F...fuck!" She whimpered, her eyes shut tight while her opponent paraded her around the ring. Each stomp served to further stretch Kiera out, eliciting a new and louder cry from the redhead each time.
