Uta Toyama (D) vs. Hikaru Sawazaki

Hikaru was pacing, set to face a debuting wrestler. The pressure was on Hikaru as she had expected herself to win against someone who hasn't wrestled in LAW before. She had been successful in shedding that jobber mantle but the truth remained that while she was capable of winning she hadn't worked her way out of the undercard.

She was hoping tonight was a step in the right direction toward the mid-card! Clad in her yellow and black wrestling attire Hikaru smiled and began to make her way out into the arena as her music played. The fans cheered her more loudly these days and that was refreshing. She waved to them and confidently walked down to the ring, walking up the ring steps before climbing through the ropes to take her place over in her corner to wait for Uta.

This would be her first match in LAW, and Uta was aiming to make a first good impression here. Clad in her two-piece wrestling outfit, the newcomer waited for her cue before she dashed out energetically as her music was played. She raised her arms as she jogged down the ramp, making her way to the ring. The crowd seemed to be affected by her energetic entrance, and they cheered for the new face while looking forward to see what she was made of.

Once she was in the ring, Uta looked at the direction of her opponent. Smiling, she approached her and said, "Heya! Hope you can keep up with me! Show me what you got!" She would wait for the match to begin. The crowd was bigger than the ones she used to have back then in the indies, and she was excited to show what she had in store for them.

Hikaru smiled at the young wrestler and nodded. "Oh I will do that and then some!" Hikaru said with a smile. As the bell rang Hikaru circled Uta while moving in for a grapple! Hikaru was trying to grab hold of Uta by the head, locking in a standing side headlock to start things off. If Uta wanted to move at a fast pace Hikaru was going to do all she could to slow things down to a crawl and move the match along at a speed she was comfortable with.

The match started and Uta took her position. Hikaru then rushed over to her for a grapple, and she grabbed her by her head before putting her into a side headlock. Groaning, Uta would try to grab onto Hikaru's hips before attempting to lift her up and drop her backwards, hitting her with a backdrop. She was sure that if it was successful, Hikaru would let go of her head and she would be taking some damage from the drop.

Hikaru was off to a good start, or so she thought. Utah lift her up and Hikaru screamed in pain as she landed hard on the canvas! "ARRGGHHHH!" The ring shook from the impact and Hikaru kicked in agony while cradling her head in her arms. She was down on her back clearly in pain as Uta managed to halt any sort of good start Hikaru went for. Now it was Uta who had the initiative while Hikaru was a mess on the canvas. This was hardly the start Hikaru wanted against a debuting wrestler.

Bringing Hikaru down with a backdrop, Uta thought that she held the advantage over her opponent. Turning around, Uta would grab onto one of Hikaru's legs, lifting it up before delivering a kick right at the back of her knee, hoping to weaken her before slamming it down back onto the mat. She wanted to keep her opponent grounded and unable to stand up correctly first before she could go for a much bigger move on her.

"Ngh.... Argh!" Hikaru groaned as her leg was grabbed. The kick hurt and the slam back down didn't do her any favors either! Hikaru groaned and rolled to her side, grabbing her leg and gasping for breath. She was already in a good deal of pain from the backdrop and now the focused attack on her leg. The match was not off to a good start and Hikaru losing to a debuting wrestler... again... was the last thing she needed for her confidence!

Thinking that her attack had weakened her opponent, making it difficult for her to pick herself up, Uta would then bend down to pick Hikaru up, looking to keep up with her momentum. She would pull Hikaru back up onto her feet, making sure to make her stand before her. From there, she would start hitting her with a few strikes to her face and chest before capping it off with a spinning kick to the side of her head.

Hikaru moaned as she was pulled up, proceeding to be treated like a punching bag! "Oomph! Ugh!" Hikaru groaned as she tried to block some of the attacks.

However the kick connected to her head and she crumpled to the mat in a heap, groaning as she weakly kicked the mat in pain, her arms cradling her head after the hard kick!

Capping off her attacks with a kick to her opponent's head, Uta pumped her fists, knowing that things were going her way so far. Seeing her opponent being downed, she decided to test out her luck as she would place herself on top of Hikaru after making sure that the other woman was on her back. Then, she would reach down to one of her legs, hooking it with her arm. It was a pinfall attempt, and the referee would come over and start counting for the pin.
