A Casual Meeting of Fairies and Nymphs

Thea fixed her hair a bit nervously as she stood outside a rather plain wooden door. It was the night after her most recent match against Lynn Fox. A very narrow victory for her that left her sleeping like a bag of bricks after. But in spite of how beat up she was during it, Thea was glad she had done that match. Not just for the victory, but because she had made a new friend over the course of it. Even after putting eachother through the ringer Thea and Lynn became rather pleasant friends, and the girl even invited her out to meet her tag partner!

This was where the girl found herself now. Or rather to be more specific she was outside the Seventh Heaven bar, an apparent hotspot for LAW wrestlers. This is where Lynn had texted Thea to meet her and Evanna. Looking down at her outfit Thea nervously gulped thinking she had overdressed, but she wasn’t quite sure what else to wear. She only hoped her new friend and potential new friend liked it. Collecting her thoughts she opener the door and stepped inside. Looking around she tried to look around the packed and rowdy bar looking for both of the nymphs.

Evanna was wondering who her best friend , and if she was honest secret crush wanted her to meet tonight as the redhead wore jeans and an green top that exposed her belly button as she followed Lynn into the Seventh Heaven Bar. The Brunette wearing jeans and an black shirt that did nothing to hide her amazing figure if the redhead was being honest as she followed after her tag team partner.

As the redhead looked around she would look surprised when she suddenly heard Lynn yell ''come on I found her Evanna''as she felt the brunette grasp her hand as she was dragged through the room. As she would look around the place as she spotted an rather good looking woman behind the bar counter , and an girl around their age as she waved at the blond as Lynn said ''sorry it took so long for us to find you. Thea I like to introduce you to my tag team partner Evanna , and Evanna this is the blond who kicked my ass in 2020 when we faced off''as she waited to see how they would react to each other.

Thea felt rather awkward as she stood off to the side in the bar. She felt over dressed for the atmosphere of the bar, and not being able to imemdiately find the people she was meeting didn’t help. Thankfully though she fonally heard her name called by a familiar voice. Turning she smiled seeing the familiar face of Lynn, as well as another, shorter but very attractive red head next to her.

”Oh Lynn hello! Thank goodness I was worried I came to the wrong place.” Thea said with a smile as she approached the two fellow wrestlers, trying not to let her nervousness about the meet up show. Swallowing said nervousness she quickly waved her hand at Lynn. “Its quite alright really, it was probably my fault for being early.” She said quickly and with a soft smile before blushing as Lynn described her as the girl that kicked her ass.

Twirling her hair around her finger she looked off to the side with a light blush. “Oh.. you flatter me Lynn. But its probably more accurate to say we beat eachother up.” Thea said bashfully before pushing her hair out of her face and focusing on Evanna fully. “In any case, it’s a pleasure to meet you Evanna. I’m Thea.” Thea said with a soft smile as she held her hand up to shake hands with the red head.

Evanna would check the blond out as she felt herself get slightly jealous as she felt the other woman was slightly better looking then she was.Then it became worse when she watched Lynn and Thea have an moment as the other wrestler would blush as the redhead could not help herself as she for an moment glared at the other woman before she got her emotions under control.

As she would not make the same mistake Lynn had done when she had meet Ruby as the brunette had then bin the jealous one , and almost ruined the redhead's chance of making an friend. So after taking an deep breath she would listen as Lynn replied ''please I am the one who is being honest. As you had the upper hand from the start'' as this allowed the redhead the time to come up with an response. As she said ''well as my friend already mentioned I'm Evanna , and pleased to meet an fellow fan of mystical beings. As if I remember correctly your nickname is the fairy right?''

While her attention was on Lynn the blonde girl couldn’t help but feel a less than kind look directed towards her. Blinking in confusion a bit as she looked briefly all she saw was Evanna momentarily avoiding her gaze. Confused Thea soon found her attention refocused on Lynn. Blushing a bit more from the praise she finally turned to Evanna who responded to her greeting. Smiling in response to the question from the red head Thea was quick and energetic in her response.

”Oh yes! I had to read a lot of old literature as a child and I’ve always bad a fondess for fairies.” She said with a nod before blinking realizing she forgot something which she’d soon amend. “Nymphs are great as well! I remember some of my favorite greek myths as a child being ones revolving around nymphs!” She said with a nod, unintentionally flaunting her much more advanced education growing up as a result of her wealthy upbringing.

Evanna was trying to control her jealousy as she listen to the blond explain how she got into Fairies as the redhead felt it was an good story to be honest. Still the fact that Thea did not considered Nymphs to be number one mythical creatures was kind of an shame , but to be fair fairies were kinda her second most like mythical creatures she loved .

As their were so many stories around fairies , and she just smiled back as she replied ''well who is your favorite fairy then Thea''as the Lynn would just look at both girls as she said ''so should I go get us something to drink while you two continue to talk?''

Thea smiled brightly at Evanna as she waited for a response from tbe red head. She couldn’t exactly tell how things were going but they seemed to be holding conversation which was good! As Evanna asked a question back in response Thea admittedly hummed in thought. ”Wow thats a tough one. Factoring modern story telling tinker bell is alway funny but I wouldn’t call her my favorite, but I appreciate the themes and kinda reinvention of fairies that was attempted with-“

Before she could continue her attention was captired by Lynn who asked about drinks, makkng Thea’s eyes light up. “Oh of course! Here allow me get me whatever you get!” Thea said pulling from her purse a platinum credit card, the kind with no spending limit. Handing the card to her former opponet she’d turn back to Evanna. “Where was I? Oh thats right! As dar as favorite fairies go in traditional stories, Puck from Midsummer Nights Dream has always made me laugh. She said with a giggle before her eyes lit up. “Did you know there’s actually a mor of debate on if Morigan Le Fay was actually a fairy? If so she would definitely be high up on my favorites!” She said enthusiastically, now starting tk get a bit fired up by the topic.

Evanna would just smile as she listen to the other wrestler as she had to admit that Tinkerbell was always funny , but was surprised it was not Thea's favorite. As the fairy was one that most people thought of as she heard Lynn saying she would get them all drinks as she was about to give her friend some money when Thea gave the brunette an credit card as she just said ''I would like an coke , and thanks for paying Thea''

Meanwhile Lynn just smiled as she would accept the card as she made her way to the bar to get them all an drink. While she was away , Thea would continue her story as the redhead would laugh along with what she was saying as she replied ''wait you read Shakespeare , and please do tell me more about Morigan Le fay. As most people I know consider her to just be an witch or at best an ally of the unseelie court''

Thea nodded to Lynn in unison with Evanna thanking her for going while also asking for tbe same drink. Turning back to Evanna she smiled brightly, finally feeling she was getting somewhere with her. ”No problem at all I’m happy too!” She said chipperly before hearing the red head’s next set of questions. “Hmm.” She hummed in thought as she considered the second question proposed by the girl. “Yes Shakespeare’s works were a big part of my education as a youth, same with Arthurian legend.” She mentioned before smiling a bit more enthusiastically as she consdiered Morrigan.

“As for Morrigan Le Fay, there are actually a lot of different thoughts and interpretations of her.” She said clearly a bit excited as she thought of the various responses she could give. “Thomas Mallory’s is the most popular, the one you deacribed with her as a witch, but there are some versions describing her as a fairy, or even goddess, as well as something like Arthur’s older sister.” She explained excitedly like a nerd. “She does almost universally take a antagonistic role, especially in modern takes, but in older works, again depending on the interpretation of course, she actually reconciles with Arthur and takes him back to Avalon for his final journey. So she is a very misunderstood character.” Thea explained finally finishing off not realizing she bad basically gone into a bit of a drabble.

With Lynn away to get them drinks this left Evanna alone with Thea as the redhead was making idle conversation with the other woman. As it became clear just why her friend thought that the redhead would be able to get along with this woman as they do seem to have similar interests , but in the back of her mind she did worry about what Thea wanted to do with Lynn. Since she was worried that her best friend would end up spending time with Thea , and decide that the fairy was better partner then herself.

So while they talked the redhead was listen as she was surprised by the knowledge that the other wrestler had about Morrigan Le Fay as she did not knew most of them. As she did not like to admit it , but she only knew the basic stuff about the legendary figure as she replied back ''hmmm well I have to admit that I did not knew most of it. Still mind if I ask you something unrelated to what we are currently discussion as you don't want to became an tag team wrestler right''as she did not knew how she would react should Thea say that she did want to become one.
