Chantelle Calderwood vs. Kim Walker: Ragdoll Throw-Down!

Match Type: Ragdoll Match
Victory Condition: Winner is the one who renders their opponent completely unconscious and is unable to be woken up.

Kim had a big infectious grin on her face as she made her way to the gorilla position. She had been at L.A.W. but a short period as a fresh rookie and already she loved everything about it. The competitive atmosphere, the fans the larger than life arena the entire buzz of it oh it just made her tingle to her core! This upcoming match was no less part of the reason she was hyped up, as she'd be taking on a woman in what was a "Ragdoll" match, which reminded her of those times her mom would use a sleeper to put her to bed when she was feeling rebellious.

Now she had a chance to do the same to someone else, to show her growth as a woman & competitor, and from what she heard it was against a vet. That just added some anticipation to it all and before long her name was called and she made her way as her entrance theme kicked into gear.

Kim's Theme

Making her way to the stage, Kim rolled in with a fire in her gut and in the most literal sense as she actually rolled on the stage before she sprung up and did a dynamic pose flexing her "claws" as she let out a fearsome roar that was the most adorable sound the mics could have picked up. However, Kim had not been here to score just on cute points but to compete and win and build herself up to be seen as a serious contender around here. How determination and overall demeanor seemed to endear to the crowd as while she had not gotten much of a pop being a new face around here she already seemed to have a fan or two of her own.

With this Kim grinned and waved to the fans before she skipped down to the ring; throwing quick jabs along the way as she was working to hype herself up all the more and pracitcally jumped over the middle rope as she rolled in the ring and struck another animal-like pose as she seemed pleased with the added flair to her entrance as she quickly moved to her corner as the Panda girl waited for her opponent to make her way to the ring.

Chantelle adjusted the straps of her blue leotard as she waited back stage, making sure the body-hugging lycra was perfectly settled on her curvy frame. She stretched out her limbs in preparation for the coming match, wanting to be as ready as possible. Every match here was a chance to finally get her career on the upswing, and she would keep trying no matter what. She smoothed down her red hair, tightened her gloves and waited.

Appearance

Her music What the Hell sounded from the speakers, and the blue-clad Scot made her way out into the lights, flexing her arms and waving to the crowds, and strutting down to the ring. Diving under the bottom rope she came to her feet and scanned the ring.

When she saw her opponent the veteran had to stifle a laugh. Really? She was expected to fight it out against this diminutive slip dressed as a Panda? Chantelle was not normally given to bouts of arrogance given her wrestling history, but even she found this a little hard to take seriously, a smirk crossing her face. No point in questioning it thought - luck had landed her with a perfectly winnable match against this little girl.

"Well, aren't ye just an adorable wee thing," Chantelle crooned as she faced down Kim with her hands on her hips. "Dinnae worry, I promise I'll no' be too rough with ye, lassie. I think I can turn ye into a wee ragdoll nice and gently." She couldn't keep the smile off her face, suddenly more excited than ever to get the match started. This could be the start of her career upswing at last and she was going to seize it with both hands!

As Kim bounced about excited as can be, her bigger opponent came over and seemed to have somewhat of a polit condescending response to the girl apparently sure of her coming victory which caused Kim to pout rather adorably. Which was something that had not helped sell the image that she was a proper "mature" competitor but was an impulsive thing.

"Sorry lady but I'm the one who is gonna be putting you out today, so you don't need to worry about anything. So prepared to get walked on by a Walker!" Kim replied, her confidence and passion where there but her bit of of catch phrase "threat" likely needed some work to say the very least.

Chantelle smirked at the words of the young rookie wrestler in front of her, the diminutive woman oozing misplaced confidence. The veteran Scotsman couldn't contain her scoff.

"Is that so, aye?" she chuckled. "Well, you dinnae lack for confidence, lass! But that's no' gonna help ye!" Flexing her muscles, Chantelle lowered herself into her wrestling stance and nodded to the referee to indicate her readiness. When the bell rang she would shuffle forward, trying to get to grips quickly with her opponent and use exert herself on the match early on.

Kim, perhaps fueled by the way this pro was looking down upon her, seemed ever eager to show herself as her face just screamed determination as the bell range and she got her arms up moving around as it seemed she'd go for a lockup.

However, she would duck under Chantelle and go to apply a rear waist lock, trying to user her presumed agility edge to get around the older woman to lock in the hold.

Chantelle moved forward, brimming with confidence as she approached to lock up with the young rookie. However, the veteran was swiftly caught by surprise as Kim dodged away at the last second, ducking away from her attempted lock up and slipping behind the Scotswoman.

"Wha-no!" she blurted stupidly as Kim's arms quickly encircled her waist, squeezing tight in a waist-lock. She grabbed at her opponent's wrists, trying to peel herself out of the hold, jerking her hips back and forth as she struggled.

"Heh a bit quicker than expected huh?" Kim said, clearly pleased that she got the drop on the more experienced woman in the opening lock, though what she had in speed Chantelle seemed to favor in strength as she worked to peel her arms off of her and shake her off which she seemed to be well on doing.

So Kim decided to act fast, as she broke her own hold before Chantelle could get a good grip on her as she took a step back and jumped up aiming to deliver a dropkick to her back while she still had been behind her.

The surprise waistlock had caught Chantelle unaware, but the veteran wrestler quickly reasserted herself, smiling thinly as she managed to loosen the grip around her waist, the diminutive Kim being unable to hold on.

"Aye, you're quick, lassie," she quipped as she started to free herself. "But it'll take more than tha-," before she could finish Kim suddenly released her, leaving the older woman hesitating in confusion for a crucial moment. Then the dropkick slammed into Chantelle's back!

"UNNGHH!" she blurted as she was pitched forward face first into the canvas by the sudden impact, laid out flat and briefly vulnerable to Kim's follow up.

"Timber!" Kim giggled as she seemed quite pleased she was able to down the bigger woman, seemed her quick moves were throwing the veteran for a loop which only got the snuggie-wearing rookie to smile.

Though with Chantelle down, Kim was given opportunity to take advantage as she quickly dashed the ropes; aiming to bounce from one of them and run over Chantelle as her plan was a simple one, to jump up and splash her full body weight right on the upper back of Chantelle with a rear splash.

She had not weighed much, being a lightweight, but if she could connect surely a full weight splash would still sting and hopefully keep her grounded.

Chantelle blushed as Kim walked her, the dropkick sending the veteran face first into the mats in rather embarrassing fashion. Her back ached from where Kim's boots had struck, but she gritted her teeth, eager to recover and get this match back onto even footing again. She started struggling upright, eager to get to grips with her opponent.

Chantelle had pushed halfway to her knees before Kim came crashing down upon her.

"UNNNGHHH!" she cried as she was flattened back to the canvas again, sprawled out on her front by the stunning impact of the diminutive wrestler. For a moment Chantelle could do nothing but lie there groaning, her arms and legs splayed out and face resting on the mats, vulnerable to her quick-footed foe's continued assault
