Kayla vs. Ryuko Rematch!

"TWO!"

Ryuko was down, stuck and held by Kayla after being dominated by far and large in this matchup. However with a scream Ryuko bridged her back, arching her way out of the pin to break the count! The thunder empress fell back to the mat in a heap, breathing heavily as she knew she had to end this embarrassing showing on her part. Ryuko got up and grit her teeth, clearly angry. "Come on gaijin, you think you can beat me?!" Ryuko screamed as she grabbed Kayla by the hair with her left hand, using her right fist to pummel the face and head of her opponent!

As the count reached two, Kayla began to tense with excitement. Her heart beat faster in her chest. She knew just what this meant - she was well within reach of pinning Ryuko and winning the match, proving that she could stand up to the Thunder Empress once and for all. All she needed was one more second, and she sucked in a breath, holding it there in her lungs.

But it was just then that Ryuko struck! She shoved herself up from the mat as she bridged her back, and as the ref backed off, Kayla was rolled off of her and into the canvas. She panted and sputtered for breath, trying to get herself back into the game. But before Kayla could even get her thoughts straight, Ryuko was already upon her! The Californian screamed as Ryuko grabbed her by the hair and battered her face with her fist, the onslaught forcing her against the mat. She tried to reach out to push and grab at Ryuko's arm, but it did little in her favor. She had unleashed the fury in Ryuko, and now she had to face that!

Ryuko had staggered Kayla and now she really wanted to make the woman pay. Maneuvering behind Kayla Ryuko grabbed her around the shoulder while reaching between her legs to grab her by the arm. It was an unusual grip but Ryuko knew what to do for a good payoff. The thunder empress was going to pull Kayla up and send her crashing right down to the mat with a big pump handle slam using all the power she could to really make for a ring shaking impact!

For a while, Kayla had enjoyed a taste of power. She was in control, and she was keeping the pressure on her foe, making sure she could keep her down. Her downfall was in getting cocky and complacent in what she thought would be her path to victory - and now that Ryuko had broken her dominant streak, the Wrestle Angels veteran was intent on paying her back for all the trouble she had caused!

Still reeling from the punches that had left her head spinning and her face sore, Kayla was dragged back to her feet, and all she could do was groan groggily as she stared off into space. Certainly she couldn't do anything to stop what Ryuko was about to do - as she bent her over to the side, then lifted her up with a pumphandle slam! Kayla came down hard, shaking the ring with her impact. She threw her head back and screamed, her legs kicking at the air as her hands shot up to grab at her head as she tried to dull the pain in her skull as she rolled back and forth on her back. But Kayla was still wracked with pain, preventing her from getting back on her feet!

Ryuko was now the one surging, bent on taking control of this match. She wanted to make Kayla pay and after slamming her down the thunder empress pulled Kayla back up by the hair and scooped her up, lifting her high before smashing her down across her knee for a back breaker! "You are gonna feel some real pain you brat...." Ryuko said as she smashed Kayla down across her knee as painfully as she could! Ryuko was ready to absolutely take back control of the match and prove the ring was her realm.

Kayla had been able to enjoy a lucky start in this match. She had made headway against Ryuko early on, keeping the veteran under control and staying ahead of whatever resistance her rival could bring against her. For a moment, it looked as though she could even secure an early win. But Ryuko wasn't out of this yet - and now that she had Kayla stunned, she was quick to turn things around!

Lost in the haze that came from taking so many blows straight to the head, Kayla wasn't keeping track of what Ryuko was up to. She didn't see it coming until she felt the pain on her scalp from being lifted to her feet by the hair, causing her to grimace and shudder. From there, Kayla was helpless to resist as Ryuko's arms encircled her and guided her higher - and then brought her down hard onto her knee!

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUGHHH!!" The Californian's back buckled, her body bent into an arch over Ryuko's knee. Slowly, she caught her breath, panting and gasping as she went slack, her limbs dangling in the air and her tongue lolling out of her mouth. Kayla's mind was racing as she told herself she needed to get up; that she couldn't look weak in front of Ryuko. But she was too stunned to do much more than stare up at her through teary eyes, only able to anticipate what was next in store...

Ryuko grinned as she heard Kayla scream. "Now... you see I am not some pushover or joke! I am not just some little roadblock for your career!" Ryuko said, grabbing hold of Kayla and lifting her up into the air off the mat. Ryuko held her and flipped her falling backward to add to the wrestlers agony as she did a deadlift gut wrench suplex to send Kayla crashing right back down to the mat forcefully! Ryuko was starting to roll and that was not a good sign for any opponent stuck between the ropes with the thunder empress!

Kayla didn't want to admit it, but she was starting to get nervous now. She had been trying to prove she could stand up to Ryuko; that she had come a long way since their last encounter and that she was ready this time. She didn't want to be underestimated any more. In the earlier stages of this match, she had been getting her point across, managing to keep up a respectable lead on her foe. But soon the Thunder Empress was able to take control, and now Kayla was feeling the consequences. She bit her lip, telling herself she needed to get back up. But just moving her muscles caused her to wince - and at any rate, she wouldn't need to do the work herself when Ryuko hauled her back up.

She might have been groggy, but in that one instant, Kayla experienced a moment of lucidity, one that made her shudder. Ryuko was angry that she had been struggling with this match, and now that she had Kayla in her clutches, the Californian girl would find herself the recipient of her fury. As she was lifted by the waist, the hairs stood up on Kayla's neck. She knew she had to do something to escape, or to fight back, but at the same time, she knew it would be futile. All she knew was that whatever was headed for her on the other side of this grapple would hurt!

And in that respect, she wasn't disappointed! Ryuko dropped backward, hurling Kayla to the mat in the process, and there she landed with a thud. The force of the landing was enough to cause her to jerk back up to a seated position, but only to throw her head back with a pained scream before she fell flat on her back!

"Yeah! This is how it is done!" Ryuko shouted as she pumped a fist in the air, standing up to her feet and standing over Kayla. Again Ryuko wanted to show off, rolling Kayla to her stomach and trying something she had never done before.... a new special just for Kayla! Ryuko bent down and worked her arms in to lock Kayla into a full nelson hold while she lay on her stomach. Ryuko groaned and shot up lifting Kayla with her and smashing her to the mat with a deadlift full nelson suplex! After planting Kayla to the canvas Ryuko would keep her back arched to put Kayla into a pinning position upon impact! The referee slid in to place and began to count the pin as Ryuko kept her body tense, hoping to hold Kayla in place!

"O-Oww...shit..." Kayla huffed under her breath, drawing a pant in through clenched teeth as she winced from the soreness in her back. She wanted to get back up, but the pain she felt in her spine was holding her back. It wasn't the pain that concerned her so much as how she was forced to look weak in front of Thunder Ryuko - a woman that Kayla did not want, under any circumstances, to look weak in front of. Here, now more than ever, she was out to prove herself and to show that she was capable, to silence the naysayers. But when she couldn't fight her way through the pain no matter how hard she tried, she was only reminded of how much Ryuko would surely be judging her in this moment. The worry loomed over her shoulder that this match would end up the same way their last encounter had gone. If that happened, she wouldn't have a leg to stand on in proving her point.

But if Kayla's back was aching now, it would only grow worse when Ryuko locked her arms into place for a Nelson hold, dragging the Californian back up to her feet! She rose to an unsteady stance, still trying to keep the air in her lungs - and as Ryuko tightened the hold, it would only cause Kayla to throw her head back with a scream, the position putting pressure on her already sore back. But she was being lifted even higher still, and she looked down with a gasp to see herself being taken off the mat - just before she was hurled back down onto her shoulders with a resounding thud!

A few cheers and camera flashes went off in celebration of Ryuko's new move, but Kayla was dizzied and shaky from the landing. Her chest rose and fell with labored gasps, her eyes rolled up to show their whites. It was debatable how lucid she was as the first count hit, but the ref kept counting regardless.

"TWO!"

It was at the second count that Kayla's legs began to twitch, but she still didn't move. The referee lifted a hand a third time, and just as it was about to tap the mat again, that was when Kayla opened her eyes. She might have been sore, and it might have hurt to move, but Kayla knew exactly what she was seeing now, and what it meant for her! At the same time the ref's hand went for the mat, Kayla's leg kicked up to break the pin! It was the very fact she had come this close to a crushing defeat that gave her the strength to prevent such a fate! "NO!" she cried, mere seconds away from the three-count!
