Kayla vs. Ryuko Rematch!

Ryuko rolled Kayla onto her stomach and tried to sit on the low of her back while draping Kayla's arms over Ryukos legs. Ryuko wanted to reach out front and wrap her hands around Kayla's chin to lock in a painful camel clutch!

Kayla panted and groaned, her throat still sore from the scream that had been ripped from her lungs as she had taken an elbow drop square on her chest. She knew this was bad. She had underestimated how quickly Ryuko would be able to change her tactics, and in assuming a defensive stance she had exposed herself to her attack. Now, she was left open - and as Kayla felt herself being rolled over onto her stomach, she could only anticipate what was to come. Before Ryuko had even applied the hold, Kayla went tense, her muscles stiffening and her teeth clenching. But once she was on top of her with the camel clutch, things only got worse!

With the pain of the hold going through her spine, Kayla threw her head back and screamed. She knew she needed to escape as soon as she could, lest Ryuko cause some serious damage to her back and compromise her chances of winning. She saw the ropes, and she began to drag herself closer, clawing at the canvas as she hoped to secure a rope break!

Ryuko was upset with herself for not draping Kayla's arms over her legs more securely and the woman began to crawl. Not wanting to give up on the hold Ryuko decided to pull back harder, making Kayla feel pure agony every second! Ryuko knew Kayla was going to keep going to the ropes but she was going to make this hold as painful as she could for as long as she could hoping to get this punk American to tap out before she reached the ropes. Ryuko was tired of these pretenders coming in to her ring trying to steal the spotlight from the women of Japan.

Kayla managed to get a few feet closer to the ropes, but Ryuko wasn't amused by that - and what she did next would make that feeling perfectly clear. Kayla would feel it, too - tightening her grasp, the Wrestle Angels veteran pulled back even harder on her chin, bending her back and neck further! Her face contorting from the pain, Kayla threw her head back as another scream was wrenched from her throat. She sank back against the canvas, her escape attempts halted in place. For now, she was in too much pain to think about moving!

All Kayla could do was to try her best to resist. She didn't want to give up now. Not against Ryuko, and especially not so early. If she didn't last as long in her second match as she did in her first, it would be the ultimate humiliation! Gritting her teeth to try and resist the pain, Kayla tried to buck up her hips and arch her back, desperate to do anything to loosen Ryuko's grasp on her!

Ryuko pulled Kayla as hard as she could but the gritty wrestler finally made it to the ropes. "Hmph!" Ryuko hissed as she let go, standing up and stomping down on Kayla's lower back before moving away to give Kayla room to rise to her feet.

Ryuko wanted to run at Kayla as soon as she stood up, attempting to clothesline her right over the top rope to the outside!

Kayla had to draw on every bit of strength she had in her reserves to push herself the extra mile. Her back felt like it was going to break at any moment, and tears were welling in her eyes, her face growing red from the exertion. But she knew she had to reach the ropes. She was counting on it - she needed to stand up to Ryuko and prove that she wouldn't be pushed around any more. Even with Ryuko holding back her arms, Kayla was still determined not to tap to her. At last, she bucked up from the mat, jostling her opponent just enough to ease her hold on her - and that was all Kayla needed to get to the ropes, finally forcing Ryuko to let her go. As the Wrestle Angels veteran stepped off of her, Kayla lay on her stomach, panting to catch her breath.

Even that would be interrupted, however, as Ryuko slammed a foot down on her back! Kayla let out another pained cry as she fell against the mat, her advances halted. Eventually, huffing and groaning as she tried to nurse the pain in her spine, the Californian pushed herself up on the ropes, guiding herself back to her feet. She clenched her teeth, rubbing at her sore back. But as she looked over her shoulder, that was when she saw Ryuko was coming charging straight toward her!

Kayla's eyes went wide, and she tensed, keeping one arm on the ropes to stabilize herself. But she didn't need to let this hit her. Just as Ryuko came close, as the two were about to collide, Kayla ducked down and leaned against the ropes. She hoped that with Ryuko already in motion, she'd have no time to adjust her trajectory, and that in missing Kayla she'd go over the ropes instead!

Ryuko had gotten overzealous. She rushed in with a full head of steam leaving her no room to stop or change course. As Kayla ducked and grabbed the rope her plan worked to perfection much to the frustration of Ryuko! "Whoa! ARGH!" Ryuko shouted as she toppled over the top rope in shock. Her crash landing on her head and neck on the outside elicited a loud scream of pain as the thunder empress writhed about in agony! She was clearly hurting and it was her own doing as the fall from the ring to the unforgiving surface on the outside had clearly done quite a number on Ryuko.

Her back still sore from the camel clutch, not to mention the pointed stomp she'd taken to the back of her spine, Kayla was in no place to perform a counter-attack, especially not when Ryuko was closing in on her at such speed. Her only options were to brace for impact, which she wasn't sure she could do either, or to duck down and let Ryuko's momentum do the rest of the work for her. But she ducked just in time, using the ropes to brace herself and leaning in closer so that her back would become a bridge - and as Ryuko's clothesline missed, she went tumbling right over Kayla's shoulders, sending her crashing into the floor below!

A few fans gasped at seeing the sudden reversal of fortunes, not to mention the nasty plunge Ryuko had taken. Even Kayla needed a moment to collect herself, rising to her feet and catching her breath. But soon, she saw her opportunity, and she wasn't about to let Ryuko go down alone. Climbing up to the middle rope, Kayla launched herself down after Ryuko, sticking her leg out to connect with a leg drop on the downed veteran! All the while, the referee started counting, with the action leaving the ring!

"One! Two!"

The landing outside hurt but it wasn't enough to keep Ryuko down or so she thought! Ryuko was going to fight through the pain her head felt.... However, as she began to sit up Kayla did come crashing down on her with a huge leg drop from quite a height which did flatten Ryuko back to the ground far more painfully than her fall from the ring was! Considering how hard she just landed on her head and neck that was saying something as the leg drop hit the same areas leaving Ryuko gasping for breath, cradling her head in her arms while she moaned lowly in pain on the floor outside the ring.

Going out of the ring at the speed with which Ryuko was moving would be bad enough, and the veteran was stunned from the landing, lying there helplessly. But it was about to get even worse. Kayla wasn't normally a big user of high-flying moves, but there was a time and place for everything, and it certainly seemed like the perfect opportunity. She sprung off the ropes, bringing her full weight down on Ryuko's head, and with the landing coming from such a height and at such force, Ryuko would be feeling it for quite a while!

"Three! Four!" The referee was counting, but Kayla wouldn't hold back. As her gaze settled on Ryuko, she clenched her teeth, her eyes narrowing. Now that she had her rival where she wanted her, she was determined to make her feel what she had to say! The Californian pushed herself back up to assume a mounted position on Ryuko's chest, before she drew her fist back, going to connect with a few punches aimed at her already aching head!
