Quarterfinals: Amy Henderson vs. Jessica Parker

The satisfying feeling of a clean hit graced Amy as she brought Jessica down into the sand. But there was no time to enjoy it. Despite her desires for a competitive match, she still did want to win this. She could not afford to give her opponent any chance to rest.

Quickly mounting the red-head in a sitting position atop her chest, the blonde would begin sending open-palm, arm, and elbow strikes into her foe's head.

A pin had crossed her mind here, but previous experience had proved that trying to win too early usually resulted in a loss of momentum, and not much else. Thusly, Amy opted to take this route first, before trying to secure a win.

Just as Jessica would pull herself back to a standing position, Amy would mount the taller woman halting any further movement. "Oh give me a break..." she uttered feeling some discomfort. At least they didn't go all the way and have this take place in a sand ring, it would have taken forever to wash out.

"OWWWW OWWW Quit it you bitch!" she cursed from the repeated strikes. It was difficult to prepare for many consecutive blows especially with constantly changing attack patterns. Was she dealing with a true fighting machine?

Jessica raised her arms in a crossed stance as if trying to guard her head from further blows. "Get off!" yelling at the woman above before throwing her leg, aiming a kick to the back of the head.

Indeed, Amy was a serious wrestler, and she was out to prove it with every match she had.

The blows continued, with no end in sight. The blonde wanted to deal as much damage as she could, as quickly as she could. The less time Jessica had to fight back, the less chance she had to win. Even as the red-head cursed at her and insulted her, Amy ignored it and kept going. Even as her opponent put her hands up to block, Amy kept going.

And she would have done it until Jess was out cold, except the girl in the red and white bikini wasn't going to make things that easy for her. Without warning, Amy felt a sharp hit on the back of her head.

"GAH!"

The blonde had to stop what she was doing to place her hand on the back of her head.

If this kept up, Jessica would have two stiff arms coupled with a bruised face. She had to endure long enough until there would be an opening available to her.

In order to help her situation, Jessica repeatedly tilted her head sideways like a bobblehead so she would routinely avoid the blonde's attacks, at the expense of having more stress on the neck area. She wondered how her non-nonsense opponent would react to facing a foe going below the belt.

The kick bought some time, so the heel decided to drop her guard for a few seconds and clutch Amy's sides, sinking her nails in to inflict a little more pain. "Get off!" she shouted before trying to throw the blonde off.

In her moment of distraction, Amy had taken her eye off the ball. That allowed Jess to take advantage and get something over Amy. As the blonde felt her foe's sharp nails dig into her sides, she howled in pain.

"YEEEEEOUCH!"

Her hands immediately went to her sides to block any further attempts at that. Her balance was messed up as well, so the red-head would easily be able to throw Amy off of her.

As the girl in the fully red bikini rolled away and tried to make it back to her feet, she thought back to her match against Junko in the finals of that tournament. Back then, the dark moneymaker used similar tactics on Amy to what this woman was now currently employing. It frustrated her to know that she was now facing someone who was willing to stoop to that level, just to win. But that made Amy even more determined to put her down and make her regret even thinking about cheap tricks.

"And they aren't sharpened little girl!" upon hearing her foe howl in pain. She diverted her attention enough times to finally separate the two. Jessica took a deep breath as she finally sat up while still rubbing her forehead. This opponent wasn't one to be taken lightly judging by how each strike felt.

She witnessed the other woman trying to walk away, but Jessica was going to let that happen otherwise the cycle may repeat. Motivated by her drive, the sadist with a growl brought herself back to a standing position and went in pursuit of her opponent. Before Amy could get back to her feet, Jessica intended to keep her on the mat by bringing a foot down for a stomp to the back of the neck

Amy had rolled away to what she thought was a safe-enough distance. However, as she began to sit up, her judgement proved to be faulty. A foot came down upon her, nailing the blonde right in the back of the neck.

"URK!"

Unfortunately, that resulted in Amy faceplanting right back into the mat. Now covering the back of her neck with one hand, and her face with the other, the girl in the red bikini would kick her feet against the canvas from the pain. For the moment, she was unable to come up with a countermeasure to this situation.

Bullseye! Jessica was able to stop the other woman in her tracks by landing a precise attack at the neck area. "Forgetting about me so soon?" pretending to act shocked while grinding her foot even further. Luckily for Amy her opponent chose to not wear any footwear for this special match, otherwise she would have felt a stabbing sensation instead.

The grinding also caused the blonde's face to shift slightly. Of course this wouldn't be the winning move so Jessica lifted her leg back and thought for a few seconds. "What to do...I know!" finally coming up with an answer. Running towards the ropes and back, the heel jumped into the air before hoping to deal more damage to Amy's neck by attempting a leg drop.

This woman really likes to talk...

Naturally, trash talking was a given in this sport, so it came to no surprise that Jessica was utilizing it as much as she possibly could. Amy never really understood the necessity of it though. What was the point of trying to demoralize your opponent? If they lost the will to fight, how could you get a satisfyingly competitive match? Amy was pretty thick-skinned, so trash talking like this didn't really bother her that much.

These were the thoughts that went through Amy head, along with possible escape plans, as the red-head continued to grind her foot against the blonde's skull. Then, her foe dashed towards the ropes and came back to go for a leg-drop on the back of Amy's neck!

"ARG!" yelled the girl in the red bikini, who was just too slow to move out of the way in time. She clutched her neck once again, as it throbbed and reddened from the impact.

Some say Jessica was just a big fish in a small pond with how she picked on smaller opponents. All bark and little bite, but she has proven her worth in hardcore scenarios. It is just that she had very little inner voice and as long as it slightly guided her to victory, what reason was there to fight. A win is a win. In this case she managed to distract Amy long enough to land her crippling legdrop.

With the blonde lying on the floor, Jessica took the time to relax by lifting up her leg and sitting down for a bit. "You know what I love about the beach? Laying down in the sun and doing nothing can be quite comfortable, especially when you have everybody else is under control..." now laying on her side the heel reached out with both arms before locking in a crossface but this time as a means to attack.
