Nathalie Christiaens emerged to the pop of her pyro and posed for a crowd much less uncertain in their celebration of her appearance. Sure, a few too many of them might have been the privileged types who could afford a ticket to an event like this one whenever they wanted and might have disregarded Nat as inferior should they have met her even five years ago, but that was part of why Nat enjoyed this squared circle. It equalized everyone, and let someone like her, who deserved it, rise. To these people's credit, they had been smart enough to take note of her and show their appreciation accordingly.
Though she kept to her notion of letting the cameras drink her in without obstacle, Nathalie made a few extra detours on the ramp to slap hands and offered a few more satisfyingly sultry smiles to the people she passed. Certain people would claim her selfish, but the sapphire-clad Belgian would always give back in turn of what she received, whether that was pain or affection. As long as these people gave her what she deserved, they could enjoy as much of her as they desired.
Only once she sidled into the ring did her thoughts drift to her opponent. Hikaru Sawazaki - Nat had bothered to look up a little more on Hikaru than her debut opponent if only to see her looks, and she had been no more impressed. Her name rattled around social media a bit more, but Nat failed to notice where it was due to any success she had enjoyed in LAW.
Nat closed her eyes and easily rolled her shoulders, opting not to think about it. She would handle Hikaru, too, and with that confidence, she awaited her opponent's appearance.
