In search for a partner (Kieda/Mina/???)

Despite all the time passed between their single matches and the present moment, Shinobi Sunshine weren't make a load of progress. For context, they agreed to have one final tag match against the queendom; a three v three tag team match. Mina and Kieda were unable to find a third tag team member, even after the pinkette was doing everything to pitch. Posters, promotional tweets and even shouting in open locations before security escorted her out. She attempted to make an advert in the LAW magazine and even requested being in a wrestling podcast, but for some reason she was promptly rejected. Was she that repulsive or some bribery involved?

There were a few names interested in fighting alongside them, but they ended up running into two separate categories. Busy with other matches or being preoccupied with other stuff? Some ranged from suddenly having a cold to having their house apparently destroyed by termites. Weird but Mina wasn't one to object despite the shaky tone she constantly heard in phone calls.

Another day of failure with the deadline at the corner. The two were at the cafeteria sitting at a stool each. "Everyone is so locked up these days..." the otherwise punchy pinkette sighed while nibbling on her 5th strawberry cupcake. Apparently these repeated failures were even stinging her up a bit. On the table lied a piece of paper partially obscured by crumbs. She considered phoning up random wrestlers, crossing their names out if they rejected or Kieda interjecting and immediately saying no in disgust. "Maybe...maybe we can tell those Queen girls to wait a bit longer?" Her tone exhausted and nervous simultaneously. For once in her life she actually considered surrendering. This wasn't just tapping on the mat after a long battle, but shamelessly running away without a fight.

*While the Azure Assassin remained relatively taciturn throughout Mina's incessant prattling, there was a nugget of truth amongst the otherwise perplexing rambling- For all of her fame and popularity amongst her fellow cohorts backstage, Kieda was unable to secure a third partner for her upcoming match against The insufferable Queendom. This caused Kieda's memory to trigger, flashbacks of emerging victorious over Demi coaxing out a tentative grin across her face.*

"Do not fret, my love~" *Kieda reached across the table, pressing the center of her finger against Mina's pair of lips before continuing.* "Despite how dire things may appear to be now, I'm sure we'll come across someone that's available for an impromptu match." *While her response was rather upbeat, it was abundantly evident that Kieda had little faith in herself. It was almost as if both women were waiting for a miracle to manifest itself and walk right out in front of them; if only such a thing existed..."

Wearing lazy day clothing at the facility had perks. Oftentimes one could slip through LAW facilities in plain sight without being noticed. This was such a day for this young wrestler as she was finishing up her food.

Nearby someone was passing by and overheard some of the chatter between the two women. They also had a history with Summer and her cohorts, giving her reason to approach but the young woman paused.

She also had a history with Kieda. It was less venomous than her attitude towards Summer but it wasn't the greatest of relationships. She smiled and decided she would keep a tab on these two but would make her presence known later as she slipped out of the room without being noticed.

Despite having made plenty of friends at the Haven, including one clingy Cobra (Would the Queendom even agree squaring off against a man?), luck seemed to be not in their favour. Everyone genuinely being caught up in their own commitments. Considering their general likability and Kieda's growing popularity, they were stuck in this purgatory as if the universe was skewed against them.

If the cupcakes weren't making enough progress to satisfying her appetite and emptiness, her ninja of love was making strides in filling that gap. She was developing a sudden urge to jump across the table and share sweets with the bluenette. "Aww thanks Kiedy. Maybe maybe we can help a new girl make their mark?" Thinking of hundreds of different possibilities when it came to filling their niche.

But if nothing would happen today, perhaps they had to negotiate with a handicap but that had chances of backfiring tremendously. Mina's ears perked upon the sound of footsteps and raised her head to investigate the source. Would that stated miracle finally come to fruition? Nobody else was there besides the wind. Upon realisation of the truth, the pinkette sunk into her seat in disappointment, leaving one cake half-eaten. She surely couldn't just mope around all day and pulled herself up to two feet looking Kieda in the eye.

"Oh bummer...Kiedy you have plenty of 'friends' right?" Referring to the many matches the Azure Assassin has partaken in, unaware that a fair number were petty squabbles. Having mostly finished their food and went over multiple names, they considered just leaving the cafeteria and return to normal business.

"Hmm...an interesting proposition, but I'd rather not gamble on a rookie for a match of such importance." *The otherwise outgoing and gregarious fashionista was rather contemplative and silent, this particular issue having bedeviled her for quite some time. After a fleeting instance of deep rumination, Kieda was suddenly struck by a brilliant idea!*

"Hey, why not we go grab some fresh air?" *She tentatively inquired, rising to her pristine boots before sauntering towards the adjacent door.* "Come on, I'm sure a little breathing room is just the trick to try and clear our minds." *With an elongated grin beginning to encroach across her face, Kieda felt her spirits beginning to rise as the pair exited the cafeteria and began trotting down the wide hallway.*

*As fate would have it, the tandem would inevitably run across Tina Armstrong, someone that the Fashion Assassin herself had endured quite the unpleasant experience with.* "Ggghh...of course- who else would do me the disservice of raining even more on my parade?" *Kieda facetiously asked, biting her lip in the direction of her eternal rival.*

Tina was outside when she saw Kieda and whoever her friend was also make their exit. She was having trouble getting her hands on Summer enough as it was even with her recent tag team victory. Maybe this was her best shot at payback?

Tina approached the women and didn't hide her approach at all. "Hey, I over heard you two talking a bit. You have a problem with Summer and her little minions? Me too. You need a 3rd partner and I want a shot at Summer. It seems to me this is a situation that helps benefit everyone here." Tina said, getting right to the point and not wasting any time since she knew Kieda would be quick to blow her off.

Kieda did raise a good counterpoint about bringing up a random rookie, because the Queendom can turn that into a terrible day for the noob by ganging up on them repeatedly, turning it back into a glorified handicap match. Who knew gathering people for an ever growing federation event had to be that difficult?

A brilliant idea would come into fruition. There wasn't a tornado or wildfire causing trouble, so maybe taking in some fresh air instead of just training her body would be advisable. "Yeah I wouldn't mind some oxygen. Maybe we can practice our ninja skills and...climb a tree!" Raising her hands to emphasise the grand recreational activities they could be involved. Mina couldn't wait any longer and grinned ear to ear as the couple skipped out of the cafeteria.

Mina strolled down along the hallway without any clear direction not even looking straight until a voice brought her attention. Even if she wasn't the pro wrestling superfan, the pinkette could easily recognise who this woman was. An ex-champion. The person they decided to base a video game character after. Tina Armstrong.

Apparently they weren't the only victims of the Queendom and mutual feelings of any breed can bring anyone together. After hearing a exchange of words, Mina started shaking intensely like a bottle of soda ready to pop until springing up into the air. "YESSSSSSSSSS!" Literally jumping for joy and accepting Tina's offer as a third member. She definitely wasn't hallucinating in the cafeteria early. There was finally balance. Skipping towards the Tigress, an arm sprang out within a split-second and seized the third party's hand. "Mina Piper..pleasure to be of business" Shaking vigorously before forcibly dragging Tina towards the bluenette. "Cmon! Can we please keep her?" An odd way of addressing their potential tag team partner especially someone she only just interacted with literally minutes ago. Wishing to emphasise how desperate the situation was, Mina brought out her secret weapon; the puppy dog eyes. Gazing into Kieda's pupils for the final approval.

*As the duo decided to inhale a little bit of nature's splendor, Kieda would suffer an atrocious turn of events, as by mere happenstance she would run into someone she considered an eternal rival- None other than Tina Armstrong herself.* "Hmph!" *Turning her head sideways to avoid direct eye contact, The Fashion Assassin could easily overhear Mina's incessant chatter about how she was excited to make her acquaintance, much to Kieda's chagrin. It wouldn't be long before her better half was directly in front of her, having the audacity to pull her detested foe within close proximity of her while begging to absorb her into their group.*

"Really?" *Kieda retorted with a rather flat affect to her cadence.* "She's the first person we bump into and you're that elated to have her on our squad?" *Silently deliberating the pros and cons of potentially including the befuddled blonde into their group, she couldn't help but occasionally gawk into her beloved's eyes- They were like a pair of magnificently sparking pools, their brilliant radiance enough to cause a crimson blanket to brighten the irked kunoichi's mood.*

"Fine, fine, since you're so adamant on her being apart of our crew." *She stated, before whipping her index finger sideways as to address Tina individually.* "But ONLY if she is capable of promising us a guaranteed victory- I don't want her meddling in our affairs and becoming a burden on our team dynamic." *She gave Mina a nod before continuing with her declaration.* "So, how about it Tina? Think you've got what it takes to handle a trio of troublesome twats?"

This was quite the reaction. Mina was happy and acting like she wanted to take home a pet. Tina was admittedly smiling and found this to be an encouraging sign.

Kieda hwoever was a different story. She was acting in a bit of a standoffish manner but that was expected given their history. "If you are worried about me pulling me weight I do recall when we met in the ring I was the one who beat you in the ring so you of all people should understand that I will not hold anyone back." Tina said as she smiled to Kieda. "I want to destroy those idiots more than you can imagine."

Considering the sub-culture cultivating around LAW, taking Tina as a pet didn't seem like a impossibility. "This is going to be so much fun. We are so going to have a sleepover and eat cookies and share secrets and...and..." It didn't seem clear if this was preparation meeting or something celebratory. Or this was just a little jest that will be forgotten shortly. Would Mina's charm be powerful enough to bring two rivals together for more than the short term?

Either way Mina was completely ecstatic like a little schoolgirl knowing that their match could finally be enacted, especially by having the toughest possible candidate at their side. Defeat becoming less of a worry. Having similar concerns about their common goal was an appreciated little detail that would make the tag bout almost main event worthy.

As soon as she stopped blabbing, the pinkette forcibly brought everyone's hands together. "To victory, honour and all the sweet stuff!" Officially declaring their union. Having listened around deep enough, it seemed feasible to put their plan into fruition as soon as possible. The Queendom were planning a little promo soon bragging about their greatness without getting hands dirty. Surely they wouldn't mind their opposition barging and announcing their newest player.

The final stage was approaching.
